  3. Large Factory in the Swamps of Mermaid Tears [SR-FB] Unknown Past - Brethren of the Brick Seas - Eurobricks Forums
  4. There were hints all over the swamp of Mermaid Tears that the pirates that now inhabit this place we not the first souls to inhabit Black Rock. Despite these hints all over the Island, there was no known history of any prior inhabitants. Where did they come from? Where did they go? Why is there no record of their existence? Even the Brethren Court of the Black Flag pirates had no record of these inhabitants. However, none of these questions bothered this band of smugglers. The abandon church provided great cover and plenty of wood to burn in the firebox. They claimed to have the secret recipe of Bru Ha-Ha but called their swill Bru Arr-Arr. As they were lowly smugglers, they couldn't always get the right ingredients so local sources were substituted. Despite these setbacks production was in full swing. The brother and sister Duo had recruited some hired help in the form of a fancy musket man, and a flintlock slinger. OoC this will be licensed as a large property on the settlement of Black Rock. comments and criticism welcomed.

  12. Has Anyone found a solution for sand green? Edit: sorry just realized I raised the dead here lol.
  13. I admittedly tested alot of gear setups/combinations the setup I run in mine is the 13th of 27 different tested designs. I actually went back to this design as I preferred it over the others for it's reliability and comprise on speed vs torque. It will not be the fastest train but it's a steamer so that can be forgiven. It does pull a nice 7 car rake of 1:48 coal hoppers with roller bearings just fine and looks good doing so. I would much prefer twin L motors but there is just not enough space. I went with the single L due to the fact I wanted to have a fireman and engineer in the cab. The outside still looks like the EN but the interior of the boiler and underside of the Cab changed drastically.
  14. Mine worked well for an entire show season running an inglenook puzzle
  15. I thought it rather Pirate like lol thank you! Thank you. The brown was quite on purpose ... I wanted a way for the figures to pop and the background to feel unimportant to the story even though it is. So essentially everything not brown is important lol. Thank you Professor! I'm glad the handles were well received ...I wanted to give the feeling that the bars for the roof were built together so this solution was born. I look forward to the direction this story goes as well!
  16. I love the grey it really adds to this ... What's the PN for the grey torsos?
  17. Bloody Bill found himself and his fleet towed into the Port of Jameston by Gustaf's Anti-Piracy Fleet. Bloody Bill I hope your accomodations are up to expectations; a pair of men dressed in black appeared before Bills cell. We have a proposition for you. Should you choose to aid us in our hunt for the Pirate known as "The Dragon", we can arrange for you and your ships to sail out of this port. I remind you the Corries have quite the gallows erected for wanted Pirates such as yourself. There was a long moment of silence before Bill reluctantly agreed to aid in the men's hunt. You've choosen wisely my friend, the man in charge said as he handed a sealed parcel through the bars. You will find the documents are in order for your ships with the Harbormaster. All are listed under the name McAlister and if anyone asks your here trading sugar. Your holds are empty but your outfitted with the neccicary supplies to reach a more friendly port. Unfortunately your ship the WTC Agnes has broken free of her tow ropes in route. You have been compensated for your loss, even though she wasn't much more than a row boat. The cell was opened and Bill revealed some very pertinent information to aid the hunt for The Dragon. After their business was concluded Bill and his crew were escorted to their ships, eluding the hangman's noose for yet another day. Comments more than welcome!
