Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

There's something kinda disconcerting about that Stealth Spidey. Those lines on the head bug me for some reason, Lovely torso and legs, though. I could probably use them as a SHIELD tactical suit of some kind. Also, is that grey printing on black legs, or are those legs dual-moulded? -

And we've still heard nothing about it in Australia. -

That's a long shot at best. -
If we get a peripheral to Team Aqua and Team Magma, that would be brilliant.

Okay, so for someone who has not been following this thread and the associated leaks, what do we know about the sets and the minifigures included in them? I member hearing Hagrid's Hut, and skimming this page I hear that there's also going to be a mashup PoA/GoF Clock Tower that partially doubles as a Yule Ball setup. (I expect the bottom part to be a Ball and the top to be something reminiscent of PoA.) Anythig else?

I how high hopes for the rumoured Rialto Bridge model. I'll probably be disappointed, but worst case it can be a starting point for a MOD. I'd prefer Michelle, Flash or Ned over Peter Parker. Ideally Michelle. -
I agree! That is a gorgeous wig, and I might use that head to upgrade my Maisie Lockwood. (It always bothered me that they just printed the City 'happy/sad child' face onto flesh.) It's a cute dress, too; I could see it having some use. As for the sets, a lot of them are disappointing for what they are. I'll get the 'rollercoaster' one, but not because I like it; I just need those purple track curve parts for a MOC. The rest are easy passes for me . . except maybe RC/Woody. I'll wait to judge the figs until I have them in person, but I think it's good that they're making them proper minifigures. More variety. Here's hoping that the two as-yet unrevealed sets impress me. I remember hearing something about a 'Duke Caboom' which is noticeably absent from the line . .

I agree, pretty sure it's Medium Azure.

Has anyone been able to determine if this year's sets have Owen with a new face print? Or is it the same as we got last year? -
Hey, I was looking back over the pictures and noticed something; the red, yellow and blue colour wheel parts in all the sets aren't actually red yellow and blue. The blue is the same light blue that they use for water in Friends/Elves themes (I forget the name), and the read, excitingly, seems to actually be Vibrant Coral. Given that so far, that colour is exclusively in the Pop-Up Party Bus, if I'm right this is very good news.

For a second I mistook him for J Jonah Jameson. Of course, using it for a MOC Jameson is hardly out of the question . . . I still have the TLBM Gordon, and I highly doubt they'll come up with one that I like more than that beautiful fig. But you never know. -

That torso looks glorious. Though it would have been better with a SHIELD logo . . I agree with what everyone's saying about the dual-moulded Batman legs. Probably going to do the same. -

That would be awesome. More Hulks are good, we could get a Mark 3 Iron Man, old Thor with his updated hair colour - if they did The First Avenger we could even get minifigs of Howard Stark and Peggy Carter. That said, this year's Spider-Man fog does look great . . and if they continue this line we might someday get Spider-Ham . . -
Considering that I fall squarely into that category (one of my ongoing city projects is a Modular base of operations for my mashup superhero team, and I am very proud of my expansion of Lockwood Estate into a dinosaur experimentation laboratory) I completely agree. These sets are going to be awesome and I can't wait.

There is not a single raptor in this line except the babies. Also, Bionicle was several years ago. Lego's budget is more controlled now. -

Yeah. I am definitely passing on that set. There's just nothing about it that appeals to me. -

As long as we get Fox Suit Girl somewhere down the line, in a TLM2 S2 CMF, CMF Series 19, or even a set, I'll be happy. -

A museum heist would be awesome, but I'd be surprised. You know Lego loves vehicles. -
If I could upvote posts on Eurobricks . . I agree completely! Hey, has there been any word on an associated TV series or wenisode series to go with this theme?

. . Y'now, I had heard there were some people who thought this, but I didn't really believe it . . it's been confirmed that FFH picks up minutes after the end of Endgame. -
Assuming is a Big Bang and not just a one-off theme, I could see that happening. I also hope there's a new hero in a prospective second wave/year, or at least more variants of Jack and Parker. I love this theme, but I'm going to end up with so many duplicates of them.

This is one of my biggest questions. I love to MOD and change my sets to better integrate them with my layout - it's very rare that I put a structure build into my layout without changing it at least a bit. (I already have plans for how to integrate the Graveyard.) But I want to at least try the app - it might be a nice time-waster on occasion, so if it only functions if you're using the models straight out of box, then that'll be a big disappointment. From what I've seen, it searches for certain colours - the original red, blue, yellow and green - amongst the sets (you will notice that these colours are all mostly absent from the sets, no doubt to avoid confusing the app.) and triggers events in-game based on when the small features, like the rotating statue seen in the Graveyard - and I've spotted similar rotating colour wheels built into the floor of the school, the kitchen of the diner and the tank on the right side of the lab, no doubt there's one somewhere in each set - meet the right criteria.

Not to mention the Nelson figure rom Ninjago City Docks. But that's more expensive. -

I entirely agree. My first thought was; "but there'd be time involved in shipping stock to different stores!" But, as the War Machine leak proved, stock has already begun shipping to stores. Heck, the Endgame sets might even have a period of limited exclusivity to Shop@Home. Has that ever happened before?
