  1. Legostone's Class 7 ship LS Ship 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After the most recent shipping activity that damaged and claimed several ships to depths of the Brick Seas, the Monezterrell shipyards have become overloaded with work. The shipwright's there have been busily repairing vessels that were either recently acquired or had been damaged during their latest trade run and work on large unfinished vessels like this one had to be moved elsewhere for completion. To assist with the overflow, the newly built Quinnsville shipyard offered to finish this large vessel for a small fee. It's completion was achieved and was now ready for pickup. LS Ship 5 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr LS Ship 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr First off, thanks too @Legostone for letting me finish his WIP LDD ship. It was pretty fun to do. Right now she sits at about a little over 6k pieces (yes, LDD did crash a few times! ). She's got two decks, and around 32 guns. For those interested, the Quinnsville shipyards are working at low capacity at the moment, so if anybody needs ships finished or built (in LDD), the shipyard is excepting more contracts. If there is enough people who may want to hire the uses of my shipyard, just let me know. I will adjust the Quinnsville Shipyard thread accordingly to accommodate for those business dealings and include prices, limitations, etc. Thanks for checking out this build. C&C are welcome and appreciated!
  2. No problem! Hope it helps! I've played around with it before and it was pretty helpful.
  3. What your looking for is developer mode! Checkout this thread for details:
  4. The problem that your having is that the whole piece you want connected is about half a stud off. I don't see any way to get it all connected without moving it about half a stud and use normal connection options. In the long run it will probably be better to make it standard spacing. If you figure out your old connection method, please update. I'd be interested in knowing. That's my advice for you. Hope it helps! For the future though, there is a dedicated forum to LDD for discussions, help, and the like.
  5. Another great build Drunknok! Great job on all the rickety scaffolding and general layout!
  6. That is awesome! I always like the classic space look and colors with those brick-built wings. Keep up the fantastic work!
  7. Thank you Bart! Thank you! Yes, the chain was a bit of a pain to implement... it didn't turn out quite as I would have liked, but I was happy with the look in the end. The lack of proper roof support is definitely a missed detail on my part though... I am glad that you like it though!
  8. Cool looking build! It looks pretty close to the real thing! Keep up the awesome work!
  9. Thank you very much! I'm glad that you like the WIP ships, they were pretty fun to build! I definitely keep the water effects in mind for any other water builds I do. Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, this is only the beginning of what I have planned for the rejuvenating of Quinnsville! I'm just waiting until after the King's Harbour Ball, so I can move my main characters to Quinnsville.
  10. Quinnsville Shipyard, Licensed as a Large Factory.
  11. Quinnsville Shipyard Quinnsville, long known for it's seafaring history with the many voyages of the retired Junkyard Fleet, will now have the means to produce high quality vessels at a competitive rate thanks to the new shipyard! QV7.1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Shown here are a large group of craftsmen working at full capacity to complete these vessels. The crane is lifting in the masts for the less completed ship. QV7.2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Shown is the supplies, tools and wood cutting stations. The foreman's office is also shown. QV7.3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Thank you all for checking out my latest build! This one was really fun to build! It will be licensed as a large factory. C&C and questions are welcome and appreciated!
  12. Magnificent build Captain Dee! I will admit, I was thinking the wheels would be able to fit out the doors when I first saw the building. Totally was not expecting those behemoth wheels on their sides!!! Lol! Great build with great details! Keep up the awesome work!
  13. Much obliged to you for featuring a few of my builds!!!
  14. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That is funny! Hopefully you can get it all sorted out!
  15. I think this is one of the best builds I have seen from you so far Mesabi! Nicely down landscape, and well told story! Keep up the great work!
  16. I've been following your progress in the shipwright's guild and I must say, you did a fantastic job! Great work on the sails, and I just like everything about it!
  17. Even though both my ships saw no action, at least they are still afloat!
  18. Nicely built busy marketplace Drunknok!
  19. Nicely done Bregir! I am curious to see how the WTC will manage to violate uphold these terms...
  20. Welcome to EuroBricks! I'm sure you'll fit it just fine, we're a pretty fun bunch on here!
  21. Don't fix what ain't broke! Unless the Lego City theme sales start to drop drastically, I don't see why they would or even should cancel one of their most popular themes. I agree with an overhaul of the theme, but I don't think canceling it would necessary be the right option.
  22. Beautiful looking model! Fantastic details and overall great job on the design! Keep up the awesome work!
  23. Yeah, it is. I knew it was coming, I just didn't know when. I've got a bunch of models that I saved knowing that Lego was doing this.
