  1. Found some sponsor stickers on Amazon, they work really well for LEGO cars in this scale.
  2. I like it a lot, its very original and its fingers remind me of daddy-long-legs. Looks really spooky, especially the way you photographed it. (I think it needs a little more film grain though. )
  3. Ah, why is none of my creations ever finished. Update: swapped the flat tile with two 6191 curved bricks at the front splitter for more realistic diffuser aerodynamics and curved the rear wing endplates inwards with 4 15068 slopes for reduction in drag. .
  4. I already posted a comment at Flickr, this is a magnificent creation. I've always been a huge fan of IMSA GTP and Group-C racing (as you can probably tell by my creations) and this is just spot on, you can really tell from the MOC that you're quite familiar with those kind of cars and that you like them. Also the stickers are worth an award on their own, thats a lot of work! All in all an excellent tribute to the beloved Toyota Eagle! By the way, I have the same books and I love them. Besides the obvious Porsche 956/962 and also the 917 books I can also wholeheartedly recommend the book ''Return of the silver arrows'' which is about the Sauber C9, its is extremely technical and just a wonderful source of information about Group-C racing and the very guts of those cars. It describes the insane torque beast the Mercedes V8 really was and how the diffusers worked in great detail.
  5. Thank you! Yeah back in the 90's some Group-C and IMSA GTP cars looked way ahead of their time, even more futuristic than race cars today.
  6. Thanks guys! There is an updated version, now with warm gold color, better side mirrors, improved headlights and improved front fenders:
  7. Dear fellow LEGO enthusiasts! May I present to you, my most recent model, a 90's -Era Group-C racecar. It consist of 900 parts, it features real steering, removable rear bodywork, fully modeled engine + interior, wheel covers - and all the proper aerodynamic features that made those race cars such fast beasts. Scale is about the same as the Ferrari F40, which is approx 1:14. I hope you like it! (7 pictures)
  8. That looks really good, I love it. The Mask is superb.
  9. Thanks. Also I improved the car and added up to date pics in the original post.-
  10. This is really good, the Fright Knights was one of my favorite LEGO themes back when I was a kid, and you totally nailed the original look. I like that you chose a colorful forest and the iconic design of the roofs.
  11. Thank you! I actually have a couple of plans to do minifig-scale mining vehicles, I've always loved those big strip and drag shovel excavators. I actually built a small vintage diesel strip shovel in the LDD as a fun little project, unfortunately I do not have the money to build a real version of right now, but here is a small digital render: (Shovel elevation and shovel is controlled via a small winch and a worm gear inside the engine bay. )
  12. Hey fellow LEGO-fans! This is a race car made using the rules of Super-GT - which is basically Japan's touring car championship. This model may look a little familiar because it evolved out of my latest creation. 1150 parts, steering, fully modeled engine, exact same size as the LEGO F-40. I hope you like it.
  13. Yes, I put it also in th LEGO idea page, but people don't seem to like it for some reason.
  14. Thank you! The front hood grid was actually an Idea which I got pretty late in the design process when I saw a Pagani C12 racing version sporting that grid to improve venting the front radiator.
  15. Awesome creation, I agree with the previous posters that the trees are really good, and I especially like your idea to use the tracks for the veranda roof - clever! Also the carriage even has a curtain!
  16. Thanks! The harpoon is the windscreen wiper, racing cars often have a single large wiper instead two small wipers, that resets in the center.
  17. My newest 14-wide car - a fictional Italian sports car turned into a GT-1 racing machine. 960 parts, steering, aerodynamics and blah blah just look at it! 6 Pictures:
  18. Looks very promising already, the shapes are excellent. Hope I'll live long enough to see the full model one day.
  19. I've always loved the Australian road trains, and this is an excellent LEGO version of them.- Looks powerful, nicely detailed and the color scheme fits really well too.
  20. SO I did find some 30699 slicks - original post updated with new pics. Also some more stickers and minor tweaks.
  21. Still a better story than Ender's Game.
  22. The way you built that wall is quite original and the robots have interesting designs and cool parts usage. Love it! Is there any backstory to this creation?
  23. Hello and welcome, northern neighbor!
