Welcome to a small piece of a tropical rainforest with a running waterfall, intricate rocks and exotic fauna inhabited by tree frogs, a chameleon and more. This build started as wanting to to have a running waterfall/fountain. We started with an upside down Belleville baseplate to hold the water, which also meant that the entire build was stared upside-down. The transition to going right side up was used to create various rock work and give us interesting angles. The pump and stickers are the only non Lego elements included. The background itself is taken from a Lego Chima poster. Video Walkthrough and running waterfall. The Red Eyed Tree frog is probably the most charismatic amphibian and something we have been wanting to build for a long time. So here's a detail shot of one of our favorite critters :) A small chameleon snags a fly in the corner of the tank :P Here's detail shot showing a water lilly, turtle and mossy log. :) Thanks for reading!

Thanks, glad to be here! We'd love to explore more Legos in motion. :) Actually that's the strongest part. Whereas most our builds are super fragile, if you were to hold it just above the triangular shoulder piece, you can grip this like a baseball bat and whip it around rather violently even whacking it against stuff and twisting and it would be fine. I would expect the first piece on this moc to break would be the cables from fraying over time.

This is a fully functional Lego Compound Crossbow. It is around 100 studs long - and combines several techniques that place the Legos under stress to undergo the significant tension of a compound cam with an idler wheel. We used Lego electronics to create the cables, and various wheel elements to distribute the compound pull function with various pulleys. And of course we wouldn't want to leave ya without letting you see it in action! So check out the video in the link! Thanks for reading! ===== This was created for our Iron Builder against the Erickson Brothers, and uses the green flexible spike piece as 1:1 scale crossbow bolt tips, viper fangs, a sight window, crosshairs, and trigger.

Sometimes our Lego desk takes on a whole new look entirely... Here's another detail shot, including our brick built signature and another angle for the paint and brushes. This vibrant Macaw was painted for our Iron Builder against the Erickson brothers it was initially inspired by The Horse of Rohan mosaic by Bolt of Blue. Thanks for viewing! S&C

You know what Oscar says? ;D We're just trying to do our part in providing the world with another meme ;) This is our second entry for our Iron Builder against the Erickson brothers, using the green spike piece. Also, this model is quite large and uses 300! of the green Iron Builder spikes. All elements are official Lego including the crushed can (which is the valentines card rolled in between two wheels). Thanks for visiting our little piece of a Lego Sesame Street!

So we built this happy-creepy Mcdonalds robot based on Legohaulic's recent E-MOTE releases this month. Figured we'd join in the fun :P If you missed his, simply go to his Flickr. Anyways we thought the torso looked similar to a happy meal, so here's what happened :P And of course he has to have a real genuine Big Mac to wrestle with :) Cheers!

So this small contest isn't restricted to the historic genres, but since the trophy is, and we always love to see our medieval friends represent, here goes! This is a stylized ‘violence’ Contest, and is all about the art. This is NOT a contest in which the judges (Us and Legohaulic) want to see hacked limbs and excessive amounts of blood. A more artistic and graceful scene will score far higher than any simple depiction of slaughter. However, make it meaningful, sober, deadly, and more importantly... artistic. So head on over to the Lego Contest Network to check out the details! Cheers! Siercon & Coral

This is the collection of 10 parts from the "Creepy Crawly" category for the MOCathalon 2013 (team Clutch Builders: Si-MOCs, Blake Baer, Legonardo Davidy, K.Kreations) So after building one bug... there was just no stopping, and this is the end result! Lots of inspiration was taken from various builders as battle bugs and lego insects have often been explored. I tried to tag a few key people in the evolution and inspiration of our lego bugs Doctor Mobius, Lino M, ROOK, and Sir Nadroj. Thanks so much for paving the way! If you are a Lego bug fan, take some time to check out their photostreams! Panoramic View Praying Mantis (Family: Mantidae) Purple Flora Butterfly (Family: Nymphalidae) Black Wolf Spider (Family: Lycosidae) Black Millipede (Order: Diplopoda) Hornet (Family: Vesipidae) Burying Beetle (Family: Silphidae) Walking Stick (Family: Phasmatidae) Other species included in the collection! :) Hope you've enjoyed!

Thanks guys, glad to be back! Sorry we've been out. Steph and I have been super busy building for the Iron builder, and it's time for some less stressful more rpg Legoing ... :cough: not that the MOCathalon is happening in a week Looks like I've got some rule reading to catch up on

Siercon awakes at the table in the corner. How long had he been sleeping? 'I wonder if anyone even noticed I was here?' He stood up and hesitated, almost noting that the dream he's been having was as if it was real. It was vague and foggy, but he remembered something about battling the great Bartholomew de Dobbelaer... regardless he was here now, and anxious to continue gaining strength. Siercon signs up for quest 57, and for the heck of it 59, not that he's 'experienced' but he'd rather be brought close to death on the field of battle than to undergo the nightmare he'd just been having.

"From the hellthorn tree the Phoenix is born. Now you have been told it rises from the ashes. An immortal beauty destined to fade and be reborn. This is true... but for the very first time a phoenix is born. Deep among lava lakes and streams you will find hellthorn trees. And at the heart of these trees are deep amber crystal shells. And only once in 73 years will they crackle forth with ear spliting thunder and lava like tendrills giving birth to the flame feathered eagle. Overseen by the dark lords under Karain, Hellthorn Castle keeps a careful watch on the borders surrounding the forsaken."

Lets mix a little Steampunk and Alien for a change! :) In 1933 an alien spacecraft was recovered at an undisclosed location in North America. In preparation for a potential alien invasion, the brilliant minds at the forefront of steam advancements, came together to create hybrid bombers and fighter planes utilizing the new alien technology... The BD 520 Infector was a hybrid bomber utilizing both an array of steampunk and alien technology. It is a slow heavy hitting aircraft that is usually accompanied by two AR Infiltrators. As a heavy bomber, it was primarily used as a large scale chemical warfare bomber. Thus earning its name, The Infector. The AR 200 Infiltrator, is an alien steampunk hybrid, repurposed and designed for extended dogfights. Usually found in pairs escorting the BD 520 Infector. This is for our Iron Builder Contest against Bart De Dobbelaer. For more info read this thread!

Here's a giant Lego sushi sculpture :). Steph made a cameo appearance to show the scale!. The entire sushi piece is made from legos. The seaweed is made from blacktron baseplates and wrapped around a whole ton of loose Legos. :) Enjoy! :Nom Nom:

Welcome to our coral reef! This is actually an **underwater** lego display. Click here for the video! Imagine the difficulty in getting the pieces to sink... This was also built for our Iron Builder war against Bart De Dobbelaer. For more read this thread! :) As Sean works as an exhibits and reef fabricator for the National Aquarium, we will be working on crafting various species of anemones and hard and soft corals over the next year. The goal will be to create a 55 gallon tank completely made from legos. This will be open to a silent bid as the project progresses. email us if you are interested.

Here's another build for the Iron Builder that we've placed into the world of GoH. Relatively self explanatory. Here is the Flame Atronach, queen of oblivion. And her trusty Hell Tiger. Instead of detail shots we just threw together a quick video

Here's our entry for the Micro Sci Fi contest! This was also built for Iron Builder Ice Planet starfighters: Ground excavation crew. Snow plows with anti-air and tow trucks to excavate snowed in aircraft. Check out our flickr for an additional shot of the interior. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for stopping by! :D

"If you dare, touch foot through the gates of oblivion. Enter the ever burning plains roamed by ember beasts of legend." This is the first part of a series in which we invite you to explore an ever burning realm through the gates of oblivion. This is also built for the Iron Builder competition against the all too formittable Bart De Dobbelaer!

Cortana has long been one of our favorite characters in the halo series, so we wanted to portray her as a holographic translucent mosaic. So this is what we came up with :D Tell us what you think. Video LInk! Here's a close up of the gear system and the helix rows that make up the mosaic. Also, you can read a full and more detailed description at MosaicBricks showing lots of the techniques and boring sciency stuff one might want to know to create a holographic mosaic. :)

We've been on a little bit of a halo building spree recently :) So here's some micro figs we've put together with a little scene. Check out the exploded view as well as a little extra scene on the flicker/photo link! :) Thanks! And you can expect to see some more halo stuff from us soon!

Witch Spire (WarScape Preview)
Siercon and Coral replied to Siercon and Coral's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Check out LukeClarenceVan's Volume 3! -
Siercon walks over to the board and signs up for both quest 51 and 52. He wondered it if it was just coincidence that his hand writing was neater for quest 51 and if it had some deeper meaning of quest preference or just simply that he got tired of writing after about 10 letters.

So check in again and then you can follow the continuation of the series! "Victoria steps softly on the surface of the earth, and it is time for the Necromancers to join her in the slaughter of life itself." "The reservoir of blood rises in the earth burning red with the souls of our reawakened brethren." "Gather bones with dust and flame, carve their fate in hell mouths name. The world will burn in lavender fire, the dead will rise from the great Witch Spire." Till Tuesday, this build will be unveiled each evening, and that night will go up for 'Creations for Charity' and the start of this years WarScape will begin :) Enjoy! Ah yes indeed we did. Not only were photos taken with various piles of bricks but also the combination and layers of colors with various trans studs on top of 'water' colors. Great question :)
