  1. The diamond in Siercon's pocket started to glow... Emanating with heat he pulled it out. It was hot to the touch but didn't burn. "I thought this was only useful if it was fixed to the staff..." he wondered. Regardless he gripped it in his left hand and channeled the energy through his body to his staff. Thrusting the staff forward, Siercon attacked Barkington from the back row with his first light spell in Heroica. Regardless of the resulting damage, it was blinding and awesome. ;)
  2. OOC: Ah yes thank you, My fault about the front row. And I was also unaware that I had learned any spells lol. I thought I couldn't do any elemental stuff until I'd gotten 150 gold to merge my crystal with the staff. But it would be far nicer to be able to launch spells from the back row... "Argh!" Siercon cried "Blasted vermin." With this he pulled back and downed a potion. His last potion.
  3. "Indeed!" Siercon tries stabbing at the frog attacking Pillus with the heel of his staff!
  4. "Lets take out this Barkley character!" Siercon says to the team. "We may need any potions he may be carrying to get us through the battle!" Siercon attacks Barkley with his staff! OOC: I am at a lego convention through Monday and shall report here every day at this time. I will not be able to post at other times, just fyi :)
  5. Siercon drifted off as well, wondering what the dawn might bring forth. The last few sentences about 'prying open the gates of hell' and the noise of a pig and a crab snoring flooded his dreams... The combination of those three thing... Well he'll probably avoid talking about the subject, or purposefully forget.
  6. Siercon sighs as he plops on the grass. "I'm both exhausted, and flowing with energy. Seems they truly pack a lot into these little potion bottles." He says now lying on his back holding the little vial up against the stars. "I'm sure I'l suffer from some kind of major magic sugar crash at any point... So, I'd love to talk!" This last bit he said sitting up with way to much enthusiasm and his voice escalating in pitch. Still, one second later Siercon was back on his back. There's not much like the first time you drink a potion it is all that kept you from getting knocked out or dying. "Why am I here?" Siercon considers this humming aloud. "Well, I suppose to meet new people. I've been abroad to many lands in Olegia, and Eubic, and have done well. But, I've never been here, or met new faces in Heroica" "How about you?" Siercon asks on the edge of falling asleep, but sincerely being interested. "In, say... fifty battles... where do you see yourself?"
  7. One week ago a seer foretold that Siercon would be deep in the midst of a dangerous quest on this raffle-day! Fortunately they planned ahead, and wrote out on a little parchment "Siercon!" so that even while away, he could enter. So now intrenched in war (against a crab) he crosses his fingers hoping for an anniversary medal, scroll, or mythril shard :D
  8. "You're a tough little guy!" Siercon attacks with his staff from the front row.
  9. Here is the long awaited Faerie Forest :) Deep in the heart of the Avalonia where the best archers and highest earth mages can be found :) Deep in the heart of Avalonia on the Mystic Islands lies a land rich with magic and mystery. Here is the Faerie Forest capitol home to more than 200 forestmen and elves. The worlds most elite archers are found here in its renown Archery Guild. And if your looking for an earth wizard, ent or faerie dragon rider, here is the place to find them. One can even see the expanse of the mystic isles from redwoods hundreds of feet tall. Water nymphs and goddesses lace the river with magic, causing every form of magic to bloom on the forest floor. Even from the heights the trees look close, barely shrinking in the distance. Instantly recognizable from its archery insignia and redwood stained glass, the Archery Guild is renown throughout the world. Many of the forestmen dwell over a hundred feet from the forest floor. The footbridge across the Mystic River before the great falls of serenity. The guild walkway is guilded with Purple Roses, this is often a desired spot for weddings. Fern hoppers! Like a frog and a lizard these little guys like to stay near the water and rest on giant ferns. All kinds of stuff grows here! There are watermelons, strawberries, grapes, corn, pumpkins and cherries! Giant wild dawnflowers. A favorite food source for serpent flies! Left- The Lovers are a magical place with rumored romance at the crossroads within the Faerie Forest. Right- If you can make it these rare pinecones are hundreds of feet off the ground! But they sure catch a high bid on the black market ;)
  10. "Ahhhh!" Siercon groans while he falls to the ground. He drinks one of his potions consisting of around half his net worth and feels whole again! He wonders if only drinking half of the potion is medically sufficient, considering how full he feels at around halfway point. OCC. Assuming I cant just drink half of it? I'm sure this is a question that will become obsolete, or more complicated farther down the road...
  11. That's fine, we're over here frantically finishing an 20 Baseplate MOC and prepping to bring it to a convention... :P So take your time, we'll be here
  12. Siercon attacks Russel again from the front row with his staff putting forth a little more effort into his whack and less effort into his opera singing.
  13. Siercon follows suit, uttering some ominous magic words and smoothly waving his hands as if he were singing at the opera. When nothing happens, he runs to the front row and attacks the crab with a whack of his staff. All of this while keeping hold of his Sylvanian bonnet (Not to be confused with a TranSylvanian bonn'e).
  14. Thanks everyone! We are putting on some Faerie Forest finishing touches tonight! :D
  15. "Absolutely! I have no qualms about being bested or trained buy a crab" He said with a smile, jumping up to enter combat.
  16. "Why thank you!" Siercon said holding the rag below his chin like a bonnet with one hand and and making a quick curtsy. He then tied it like a cool bandana. "I agree, and I'm all ears. Not every day you talk to a talking pig and crab :)" With that he happily (but not lazily) sat down to listen.
  17. Not worried about his own pride at this moment as his partner is honestly talking to a pig with a rag on his head, Siercon puts the rag on his head. "Hello!" He is then given the debrief and eagerly awaits the next step in whatever direction the party takes.
  18. Siercon carefully takes the worn rag. "Thank you!, well" he said. "We might as well give this a try, lets see if this is here a blood hound pig." He takes the rope tying his bed roll and makes a relatively loose leash and puts it on the pig. Stooping down he holds the worn out rag to the snout of the pig and lets him give it a good sniff. "Are you ok with starting with this here rag-vagabond?" holding his hand slightly above the pig's rump threatening a short smart smack.
  19. "Ah good be be going on this mission with you L'Oréal! The name is just Siercon." Siercon says knowing full well L'O knows this. "And perhaps if we find ourselves running for our lives from a demon vampire pig it might save you some time to just say it once" he continues with a wink and a fearful gesture to the ominous pig. "Oh but in all seriousness, perhaps this is one of those intelligent beasties that can sniff a wayward soul out?" He said pointing to the rags. "Maybe those will help? Though the pigs greatest end is still probably bacon, perhaps we can see what it can do before then?" Siercon suggests, looking around for the nearest rope or tether that could be used for a leash. He supposed if he needed to he could use his bed mat cord... Siercon gently ensures the pig does not run off petting it and looking for a (collar?)
  20. "Oh, no I didn't say anything at all. ;) Just that I am looking forward to going on this quest with you. Have everything you need? Although I suppose that is a worthless question since we're both broke. :)"
  21. 'Huh' Siercon thought to himself, 'Either everyone here has an egregiously long name that skips across the sign up board, or it is customary to sign up for more than one quest.' After a small debate inside his head, it was decided. He came to the conclusion that signing up multiple times increases ones chances of being chosen to participate. And what the heck, experience was experience after all. Whats the worst that could happen? They'd could call me "Siercon, Siercon, Siercon" for the rest of my life? Signs up for 40 and 41.
  22. Sure, here are two pictures of Siercon as he is in our legoverse. :) I simply cropped one of them since I am currently a little lvl 1 and have no stuff, and would probably die if I touched above beasties. ;P But anyways, anticipated path is 'Battlemage', Chrome armor/knight + magic. hope that portrays the picture :)
  23. Why thank you, I'm looking forward to it! I was debating on how much time I might have due to major building projects and conventions, but decided I'm in :D On another note, I know my character is minor weakling, but we'd love to help out... Particular things that caught my attention were the Bestiary, weapons, and artifacts. We are avid builders and are often creating fantasy creatures, brick built weapons, and creative artifacts. We keep everything on our photostream together and would be happy to take pictures of various items or creatures in their specific contexts or what have you. Let us know if any of our fantasy elements in our mocs would be helpful and useful the game and I'll see how consolidated and organized I can get it. Again, thanks for having us aboard! :)
  24. Siercon followed the suit of those before him, pretending as if he was a regular. He was very fortunate not to accidentally hand off his only 10 gold coins to a customer. But this wasn't on his mind as he approached the storekeeper handed him ten gold coins as if there were plenty more where that came from, and said "I'd like to buy this bed roll and a potion. Thanks!" Remaining Gold: Zero
  25. Siercon pushed on the worn handle to the heavy door of the guild hall with no effect. “Of course… It would be a pull” he muttered to himself. Shifting his balance, he pried open the heavy wooden doors and slipped in. He wasn’t used to feeling so weak, but then again, this wasn’t the first time he had to start over. He felt a little lost and did his best not to draw any attention to himself as he edged around the room. “Here it is… This should be the good place to start…” he thought stopping at the quest board. His pessimism only increased as he read ‘This quest requires experienced members’ or ‘only highly trained…’ and ‘party full’. A minute later, some seemingly less fortunate soul pitifully gestured upwards towards the top of the board obviously seeing his quandary. Here Siercon found a quest titled The Lost Party. “Ha, how ironic!” He blurted, considering how lost he felt himself. The words just seemed to slip out as if he didn’t care who heard. But regardless, he proceeded to Sign up for Quest 38 (with of course the beggars pen), and took his seat on the edge of the room.
