  1. "Most certainly." Siercon said. "And even if there wasn't justice to be found anywhere, we could do better than this by creating something right here and right now." Siercon said motioning to an outraged Diana. He was astonished at the lack of reason he heard among some of the others. "She demands blood before even an attempt at an arrest. She WILL kill the innocent with the guilty."
  2. Siercon did not waste time in responding as the words had no effect on his previous statement. "There is a difference between seeking justice and exacting judgment. And you know no more than any of us. She is NOT judge AND executioner. And I will NOT follow her if she elevates her to be such."
  3. Siercon eats his Dragon scale (Back row). He remains standing, silent and emotionless, his face hidden in a shroud of smoke. He speaks. "You would follow a 14 year old assassin? A young girl driven blind by rage an bloodlust...?" He states this calmly and clearly. "Them or me? What does that even mean?! You murder believing this to be a lawless world. You are of the very lawlessness you fear." he continued. "I still, may very well kill him. But you are so sure of yourselves, whilst knowing so little, and having no faith in anything but your divine will to inflict death." Siercon was NOT with Diana. Not that he intended to kill her, but he wasn't going to follow her rage, nor absolutely kill the dragon riders. Speaking of the dragons and riders: "They are clearly confused. And one of them is starting to return to reason. I will seek to see that happen. You are deceived into not seeing the hundreds of alternatives." Turning to the others. he said finally: "I hope you will not forsake hope in order, or show such an absolute lack of wisdom and diplomacy in bringing this to a close." Siercon remembered days when he himself would have thought things like "jamming poison between someone's eyes and watching them curl up and die." A path bent for evil. But, Siercon now knew days when the very greatest evils that twisted his homeland were now fighting to save it.
  4. "This seems quite different than what we have been told... Why does the one who apparently sparked the flames of Domus sound most logical... Maybe the Dark one was doing something darker than fire" Siercon mentioned for anyone in the group to hear. "Regardless, they wont listen to us unless we bring them down a notch." Siercon attacks Kreika with a light spell with his diamond from the back row. "Speak with us as equals. We will not leave. How were you saving others in what you did?" He directed this last bit loudly towards Velquoriel There has to be a way to bring them both back alive... Siercon ponders... "Guys lets try to focus mainly on the dragons and possibly Darius... Sirone is already half dead..."
  5. Does this mean. any human or just one of the two of them? Can we kill both dragons and put both the boys to sleep or something... or is this literally one of THEM, hAS to die in order for the battle to ever end...? Or perhaps nominate a sacrifice O.o lol does getting K.Oed count as 'dying'? like say we ko someone or one of them, and revive them?... then we stop the battle, and have both dragoons alive...? Cause currently it looks tempting to just "kill" one of them, end the battle, and use a phoenix essence on him to bring him back to life.... Can we do that?
  6. Siercon kept it to himself... but was not happy when he went back to his bag and noticed the sleep bomb was gone."Unbelievable, that none of us have a magic compass." Siercon mumbled... "Denerii, Im assuming you can't tell if the smoke you saw was south in the direction we were already headed?"
  7. OoC: When it said "SP ... When incorporated into wings..." I was somewhat unsure in light of not knowing too much about winged warriors, if one got their wings and slowly made them better by equipping feathers, or if this was just a strait up backware. basically I didn't offer cause I figured it was like fusing a gem to a staff? And that winged warriors just sort of collected feathers to glue on :P. Siercon turns to Denerii with a cheerful tone. "Sure! Don't really know how these work, but If you can return them after the quest, I wouldn't mind loaning them to ya. But I do need them back, I'm afraid they may already be spoken for."
  8. Ah, well bummer. Ok I'll still go with current action unless Warlen would like something else.
  9. Siercon stepped up to the hood and staff. He noticed that neither of them could wear the hood. So, he picked up the staff and tossed it to Warlen. "I think you'll find this better than yours and it has a gem that you don't have. Neither of us can use this hood, but I'm willing to >>Take it<< pay some money to get it dissected, and I have neither of these elements... Sound fair?" He then pondered Germs disappearance... and dawns Sylvania's Cowl.
  10. Siercon attacks the Dark Druid (branch and vine) from the back row with a light spell. "Mallelio, I'll attack first, that way if he's KO'd you can either heal me, or save your ether."
  11. Ah, no my bad, that's for you! :P So just an added bonus for wrench throwing? :P
  12. Siercon saw the party quickly getting depressed and tired from attacking seemingly unkillable opponents. He figured he'd make some quick suggestions and encouragements Kiray: "Your Shield ability works really well! It allows us frail mages to get in close and cause more than double damage. I can 50% chance 1 hit KO any of them, but they can do the same to me... unless they are stunned." Actaeon: "You have a good possibility to steal gold from anyone who carries gold regardless of if you do damage (Shield ability)... Doesn't help us much, but you could end up with some pocket change" (this works for Germ) Germ: "If I were you, I'd probably just throw and retrieve that wrench over and over again... still helps a ton!" Mallelio: "Keep it up!" Warlen and Quarion: "keep it up as well, you're doing great chipping away at these guys!" Denerri: "Keep attacking one of the weaker units at all times in hope to cause your elemental shield damage to all enemies. The higher you fly the more powerful it can be! That would be super helpful. "
  13. Siercon attacks Dark Druid (Staff) from the back row with a Light spell.
  14. OoC: Awesome! I follow how I did 40 damage, but I seem to be missing where I got the extra x2 multiplier for a normal spell. Attacking from the front row, means I do full damage, and since they are weak to light, they take double damage. 1x20x2. I can't seem to find out where the extra x2 is coming from. Unless they are taking double double damage for being both undead AND dark? So if one was to hit an Icy Plant Beast with a ruby would that make it x6? sry for the question, but didn't know I could do 80 damage, even with a great spell, and if I can well :D that's some good information to log away :) Thanks! "Thanks Ace! That turned out better than I thought it would..." This only reinforced Siercon's aversion to '50/50' scrolls... Assuming the Dark Druid (staff) is still stunned, Siercon switches to him and attacks him from the front row with a light spell.
  15. OoC: Ooo yay! Lot's of shields :D "Thank you Kiray! Let's storm this castle." With the added protection Siercon advances to the front row! "Someone switch with me for a second so I can get in close! Mallelio?" Siercon switches both rows and targets. He attacks the Dark Druid (Club) from the front row with a light spell from his diamond. OoC: Just so you guys know the main druid can still do damage as he is attacking with elemental damage. This is why I switched targets, so I can do full damage + double elemental damage vs dark + my front row power boost. Someone should keep him occupied from the back row (Probably Mallelio), but the rest of us should rush the other guys. Though half of us can't do any damage to any of the opponents anymore, we can still hope for your shields or do things like (Pickup wrench, heal, etc) Burny Germ... Remedy? :(
  16. Siercon huffs. "These darn scrolls never work for me! Best to stick with crystals." He grinned at the Dark druid, wondering how much he's going to appreciate some blinding light. Siercon casts a light spell on the Dark Druid (staff) from the back row.
  17. Siercon stated amid his incantation, "Kill the victim for her boots?! For all we know she will bring good help later for us rescuing her! And fairy dust doesn't make you fly! Her stuff isn't that great... and even if it were... Siercon resignedly considered that certain peoples true nature may be coming out.. and tied his shoes an whole lot tighter than he was planning... If someone killed him for his boots, well they were sure gonna have a hella trouble getting them off his feet!
  18. - If you still choose this attack... and Flipz rolls you a 1, the fairy will die from your Shield. This is why I was simply using a scroll. If you want to avoid the 1/6th chance that you kill the faerie, you'd want to do nothing, or use an item/consumable from the back row since you don't have a scroll. - Me you and Mallelio can all hurt the druid zombies. I am pokemon 'super effective' as i use a Diamond. "If you're storming the castle, then most certainly I'd join ya! First, I have to tie my boots." Siercon replied Jovially. So basically it's listed in her stats. If she rolls her special, damage, OR has a free hit, she will run. That's pretty good odds. I doubt we'll do this dance for more than a round or two.
  19. Siercon joins her in the back row and says, "I believe she meant you take and deliver damage up front, while Me, Warlen and Denerli take a nap." Siercon pats her on the back and sarcastically says "Have fun storming the castle!" He then exaggeratively sat down cross legged in the back row and used his Sleep Scroll to cast Sleep on the Dark Druid (staff).
  20. OoC: I'd advise you guys to wait... That poison is amazing. And it stacks... I don't think you currently have a blade worthy of it ;) and the mushroom... obviously it's value increases as your level increases. Later more battles are required to per lvl.... So I'd at least wait until the next leveling segment (where you need to have two battles per lvl)... Siercon pouts. "Drat, that's the second time I've gotten nothing. and for 1 in 5 chances to win... well I suppose our party made out like bandits. Congrats you two!"
  21. Siercon stepped up besides her, "indeed" he said. "And your not going in alone" Siercon drew his wand in support. This interaction might have stuck anyone as odd, considering their conversation just seconds ago... But outside the disagreement, Siercon seemed supportive. Siercon headed into the woods with Diana.
  22. "Honestly that's a huge leap, and pretty slanderous to assume you know exactly what Shadeaux is going to do. Not only are you judging the entire house, but you're forcing actions on his character he hasn't taken or even implied!" Siercon was obviously a little pissed. "Is revenge killing the only solution you know? If you have so little faith in all of Shadeaux, who by the way is paying you to help bring them to justice, then when I become a Dragoon are you going to lump me in with village murderers and people without a sense of justice. Let them live, and put it on me if they aren't adequately punished. Or, you could choose to trust someone, anyone in all of Shadeaux, I'd like to think one of those people could've been me." His anger had faded slightly to a slight plea for understanding. "Soon, under a Shadeaux banner, if you still can't see justice and honor now, you will. If you can find NO reason to bring them back alive, do it for my sake. If any fraction of the character you frame them with is true, then I have a house to reform, and laws to enforce. But killing them off wont change the house, or draw out the lawful people in Shadaeux. Siercon wondered if there were any other members of the party who doubted every single shred of Shadeaux's justice, or the pain that Siercon himself would bring upon these dragon riders. They DID read the quest board?! They understood what the whole point of the mission was before signing up for it. Finish the job, if the payment, and response and judgement isn't to their liking, then take action later. Heck she's an assassin, killing is her thing. Perhaps she can at least kill them after we get paid. He decided the last bit was worth saying... "If you want to kill them SO bad, why can't an assassin just as easily like the option where you injure them so badly they will never ride a dragon again. Bring them back tortured, get paid exceedingly more for accomplishing the mission, finding out if they do judge them harshly, and then possibly assassinating them later if you don't like the verdict?"
  23. "Sadly... Yeah" Siercon replied, the weight of death on his heart. "Dragons, can be a haughty and prideful race. Killing a rebellious one or two would likely create large rifts. They deserve the respect to punish their own kind. Or at least I know many of them would see it that way. To some, a burnt village or two is not worth someone else stepping in and disciplining their kin. Not to mention killing them." "As for the riders. Let them stand trial. Even if we remove their ability to stand at all. Examples and laws need to be shown publicly, to keep others from walking the same path. Killing them... or 'them being defeated' in battle with heroes, rather than judged and sentenced by their own kind, wouldn't deter other riders. It would probably just set the bar higher for the next rebel."
  24. "Well I guess it's through the magical forest of doom..." Siercon thought. "I hope it's hindered them more than it will us..." "I'm ready to head out."
  25. Siercon mingles back among the heroes. He informs the party: "I've just been informing Emperor Phyllis as to why we were delayed, and that we did our utmost to get here." In addition Siercon mentions to anyone who asked about what Mallelio and He figured out about the letter on the outskirts/without invading the main conversation: "We're still not sure what her letter completely means, but we were able to conclude that Ella isn't in any danger. Lastly Siercon asks. "Have we learned where the Dragoons have headed so we can cease this wake of damage?" This question seemed to be directed at anyone.
