  1. PS. thanks for sharing the info.
  2. The train is called "Luxurious Cargo Train". I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I hope it's all new rolling stock as opposed to old cargo train stuff, but by the look of the engine, looks neat.
  3. Can't wait to see the whole train. This is exciting!
  4. I like this one too and couldn't wait to display it when buying the Legend: In fact, all of these are great sets and having to vote for a single favorite is tricky. These are defiantely among some of the best all-time sets that Lego has made. I would love to have some of the castles and the Eldorado Fortress. How do you choose?
  5. I love the entire Orient Expedition Theme and have every set. The fortress is the only set I didn't open though- don't ask me why I'm saving it. I also liked the jungle and Egyptian adventure sets. These were very nice themes/sub-themes.
  6. There is a limit of 10 choices and based on what I've heard, I didn't think Vladek's castle would make it as an all-time favorite. I also excluded the newer KK set - 8802 Dark Fortress Landing.
  7. My mistake- thought I had selected poll. I asked the mods to delete the other.
  8. Catapults, battling rams, pillaging pirates, fierce Indians, ninja attacks in the night, and Viking assaults, what is you favorite of these classic fortresses? The following are 10 sets with the name "Fort" or "Fortress" in them. Yes, there are other very nice castles but there's been castle poles in the past, and this includes a few different themes. Excluded are two additional fortresses (3052 - Ninja Fire Fortress and 8877 - Vladek's Dark Fortress). Vote for your favorite among some of Lego's all-time best sets:
  9. In comparing classic pirates to vikings, I think I still like pirates better.
  10. I agree with you. These were the best castles that Lego ever made. I just wish they'd bring back this type of design/construction. I have Vladek's Castle aslo, still unopened; but compared to these, I definately agree with you. I still think it looks better than the Duplo castle, although for a young child, the Duplo castle is probably awesome.
  11. Oh- sorry. I thought I heard someone talking about me... :^D
  12. What about Vladek's castle?
  13. I've got it with the Emperor's Palace, but it doesn't do much for me. The design is kinda neat, but I'm not real fond of oriental dragons.
  14. Considering this set was probably just a few dollars, it gave you a fig, flag, and a few extra pieces. Not too bad. I gave it a 3.
  15. They could have done better.
  16. Great! glad you were able to figure out what it was. You definately need to get those trains running - esp. 4563. Very nice set.
  17. I esp. like the figs in 6074 (Black Falcon's Fortress). The combination of black and blue look great. This was a good choice for Lego to do as a Legend. The 80s castle and pirate sets were definately some of the best ever!
  18. I always wanted this castle from the 80s. Very nice set. I do have Black Falcon's Fortress when it was released as a legend. Great set also - just small in comparison to 6085.
  19. Phes, why don't you review a larger set - like the Imperial Trading Post, or Eldorado Fortress.
  20. I'd love to see a seaside town, and it could work for castle too.
  21. I like the classic too, but would probably have to go with the HP dragon. I like the look of it.
  22. One of my all time favorite sets (Either number one or in the top three):
  23. One of my all time favorites: This was my first castle and the most special. It's probably not my all-time favorite set, but it definately brings back some very fun childhood memories. After 10 people post their favorite sets, we should do a poll to see how they rank.
  24. Did you build a mini-fig scale ship with this many?
  25. Sounds like an electrical issue (transformer or wiring connection). I would connect your wiring to just 2-3 straight rails and then check one of your motors. It sounds like you have two trains- although 4459 does not come up as a valid set number? so I'm not sure which train you're talking about (if it has a motor or not). If you only have one motor; however, you might consider purchasing another. You can also test track power by lightly wetting both your fingers and touching both sides of the track at the same time. You'll feel if the electricity is flowing. 4563 is a great set. I don't have this one but looks like a classic! Let me know if you resolve your problem. Good luck.
