Wow, this thing is very cool. Definately no lack of details, and is quite cheap for the bang of the set that you get. For some reason I really love the bay in the back of the detachable ship. Quite an improvement from last years line. Thank you for the review.

Sets that Make Great Part Sets
Brickmaster replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If anyone is a big space builder, or military builder, you definitely need a set of Titan Xp, 4508. I got 2 of these babies and have build solid mocs just from these parts. Utterly great dark bley selection, aswell as lots of black, orange, and some nice sand blue. As for bulk bricks, my current capitol ship moc would be impossible without the huge amounts of 2x6 bley bricks from 3829, fire nation ship. This is actually excellent for other parts aswell, pleanty to keep you busy and a parts count that's almost second to none for a non creator, non technic set! Those are my two, favorite sets, aswell as ANY bionicle system playset. I love, LOVE these. -
Heya guys, sorry I'm late, but I've lost computer contact for awhile, moving alot of stuff around. I havent made any new progress on the ship, but thank you very much for all the comments! I've been planning out sections in my head though - for some of the remainder of the ship, Ive kindof thought of this order; right after the missile pods, I was thinking some airlocks, then some decoration and some greebles, and then some sort of docking bay, with opening doors. Now, the docking bay is a hard one. Should the doors be just flat? Would that look funny? How should they open? Flip, slide, fold? (Im thinking slide) I also have noticed, other forums have the most critique on the bionicle parts - Are they really that bad? Thanks guys :sweet:

Electric Six - High Voltage

Most of the sets I have multiples of are all for parts. Hell, actually all of them. I don't have a single set still all together, honestly. Some sets I have up to 4 multiples of if they're great for parts. Sets like Titan Xp, Fire Nation Ship, etc.

- Need Suggestions! - What should the rest of the length of the ship contain? I am unsure of what to put. Should I put some sort of bay doors, some open ship bay, or just close and greeb it up? Any other ideas appreciated! and for responses.. Plural: Good idea! I will be thinking, mostly yellow now, with hints of black, such as the floor, but walls and corridors yellow. I will play around with the coordination when I get to it. Thank you! Wil: Wow, you discovered my secret source of inspiration! This thing was the final straw to get me to finally build a big ole ship. Glad you can see the resemblance. The rocket bays, at first, were not snot also, but on the second rebuild, I got them to look how they do now. I am quite happy with them! Asuka: Hmm, I will have to try some other things. As what I have now are the smallest possible bionicle weapons, basically, I will have to try some other things, any parts suggestions could be tried, but I will test around with this alittle. Thank you! Dark: Thanks for that aswell! I am glad you enjoyed your purchase. It is a very great set, without it, this build would be entirely impossible. Thank you all! Any suggestions for what you want to see in this thing, interior wise, or even what else for the length of the ship, will be taken into consideration! Thanks again; - Mark

Thank you so much for your guyses comments! Sorry I am late at responding, been a busy week in real lifes for me DJ and Zero: Thank you very much! Sir Dano: There is pleanty sticking around EB for! But I am glad you see this so highly Bricker: Thank you for this comment! My aim in the end is to have a large, bionicle filled, flowing ship, I still have some work to do, but I am glad it is already somewhat apparent! Asuka: Thank you for the criticism; I appreciate this! What do you suggest I should try? Would filling in the holes of the eagle claws with silver 1x1 dots help atall? I want some sort of bionicle around there, I will have to work on this, any suggestions are appreciated and can be tryed. Trexx: Thank you for what you wrote so far! Lasse: Ah, just what I was going for! My new style seems to be trying to integrate otherwise unusable pieces to give them, a somewhat good use. Or show there is some use for them. Hit the nail on the head at one of my main goals for this ship Thank you; I will try to keep the shape flowing. Plural: Simple comment but gets the point across, thank you for this! I am however, unsure of how long until part 3. Recently I started filling in the bridge with abit of detail, and doing some finer work; It may be alittle before major progress is made on the ship again, but by all means, stay tuned, as I will get to it. Sometime Thank you all so much for posting, I very much appreciate it, I am glad you enjoyed! And I have a question of preference; I am wondering what would be a good color for the interior of the ship? Should it be something clean, like white? Red? Orange? Some color combo?

Monkey Man & Banana Boy in "To Catch A Thief!"
Brickmaster replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Town
Good idea on the coconuts, I ironically already used this idea in multiple creations - Great builders think alike? -
I love this little thing, saw it on brickshelf before I really like the angles of the wings, and just how fast and agile it looks. I have no complaints about it whatsoever. The engines and everything else are very fitting. Good stuff!

Now that the outer extremities have been completed; it was time to get alittle more ambitious, and finally start up the brunt of the creation. The main body. Now, this was no easy start. Everyone knows the front has to be cool looking, or atleast intimidating! I was stuck on the very front for quite some time, but I eventually got it. I then slowly began to patch on other parts, and along the way, remade parts to fit. It was no easy feat, but it came together. All of my effort has been poured in so far, and I'm not even half way done with it! So of course, much more to come, and now finally for, the pictures... Heres everything piled together. Only did this for the first 3 pictures. Long ship is long. Being so large there's obviously alot to point out and talk about. I will get to these parts and details later, in more up close pictures. I will point out the watermark of the ship, however. Yellow and black checkerboard, much? Yep. Now that the other stuff is off, heres a little profile shot. This thing is much bigger than the pictures make it seem. MUCH. Maybe this can prove my point alittle It's about a foot just to the missile pods alone. I should also mention, this thing is already getting heavy! While trying to hold it for building, your arms get tired! Now afew closeups. Here you see the takeoff thrusters on the side, and part of the missile pods, with a claw encoating around them. Here we can see the added tentacle and batwing flare. More of these later. Aswell as the purple marker up front. Now heres something fun; a huge black bionicle mask! I think this thing looks awesome. Although a pain to build with, I think this turned out great. Heavily worth it. Not to mention the huge ole' gun sticking out of the mouth. I also wrapped a trans red visor on the inside of it. Behind this, there is alittle surprise, a cool little feature.. Gasp! It lights up? Yessum it does. Dun-dun-duuunnn.. Press the technic thingy and.. yep. Baby lights up. Ok, enough with that. Here be the missile pod. I had to rebuild this thing afew times just to get it right. It was worth it, though. I really like how this came out, claws, smooth, and conforms to the slopes, with some blasters on the side. Heres another shot of the batwings and the tentacles. There are also some tubes and such by the large mask. The pillars coming out the sides was one of my first ideas on how to integrate the mask. I think it came out somewhat well? Here you can see some of the actual slopeyness of the ship. And first off I will say: Yes, there will be more added to the bottom, to give it more of a hull. I would just like to point out the unusual slopes here, however. Heres why this is still a Wip. No interior, and just the tip of the iceberg has been built of this thing. Much, much more to come. Here's the utterly simple but effective mechanism for the lighting. Now.. I hope you all can see I am serious about this capitol ship/ cruiser now! I hope this entry brings in afew new commentors ( ) as I want your guyses criticisms too! Whether you're not a space junkie, you great builders are still, great builders, which, as fate would be it, give great advice and ideas! Which, even more so, I am open to! That being said, this just another installment. I hope you enjoyed viewing, atleast somewhat, this thing is already pretty much my prized work, taking up hours of effort and time. That's why this new section took so long; It's not easy work with one of these things! Thank you much for viewing, and so much for any comments Until next time. ~Mark.

Amusing post on "how to love a Lego Lunatic"
Brickmaster replied to gylman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Heh, nice and comical read, and probably useful to some people in a relationship with a lego addict -
These things were a thing of beauty. My favorite as a kid was #260. You can find scans of it.. Here! GREAT old castle/forestmen stuff, and great town and oldies space! (Once you get past the first few pages of creator content)
-
With all the talk of 4 wide oldies - I forgot to mention. There are some horridly large scale trucks with minifig-scale capabilities too. Take a look at one of my very first sets even! 8 wide huge tired tall trucks, in 1990? Oh yes.
-
I always have things no one else really gets. Before I had pictures of myself, and one of my sigfig, but I change it every few months.
-
May I assume this is the last review, as in order to review you need a whole line of space, which isn't always the easiest thing to do?

I bought the Speed Racer set with Racer X and the Japanese guy. Was on sale for 15 bucks at Target, cool stuff.

What was the last movie you watched?
Brickmaster replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just saw Going Green, it was advertised as a comedy but it was really more of one of those down to earth life moment movies, it was actually pretty good though. -
Ooh boy Is there any chance of a review of the two largest sets atleast? Great find!
-
Heh, I love the last few, the twists are lovely, and the sudden added in bits sure get me.

A terrible blow to an adult fan of lego?
Brickmaster replied to General Zen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Unless you take disrespect as gleaming envy from younger children, or funny looks from people, I have yet to receive any form of real disrespect. And as for your yelling comment; it probably depended on the guys point of view for the reaction. He could've taken it as a compliment in a way; but for me, I probably would've just went up and complimented him on the large haul. I am still just a younger afol, so I will probably have some journeys unfold in the future. And also, I make it no secret I love lego, if someone asks a hobby, no matter the age, person, gender, it's lego's. Why lie? I have yet to ever get a bad reaction from it, and if anything, almost everyone has had some connection to lego's in their lifetime! -
Happy birfday man, have a good one

Lego's, Lego's, Lego's... Always has been for me.

I think people are far too lazy to type out the maybe hundreds of bands they may have I know I don't want to type out my collection I have peaking at 10k songs, and my dad has atleast double that. He has the biggest CD collection I have ever seen! In real life. Velvet Revolver - Dirty Little Thing But if one would like to type out their band-list, or just their favorites, a 'favorite bands' would seem much more economical, if posts were gallons of gas
-
I'm all for six stud wide - You can make 'em fit 2 people aside each other, still enough room for details, but, they aint gas guzzlers! Gas will only keep going up. 4 Wide is just too small to be realistic whatsoever, if anything, 6 stud wide that can carry 4, is better than 4 small cars th at carry one each, eh!

We're too poor for maids and such; the only person to blame here for moc explosions would be, me. I can just imagine though, they must feel atleast somewhat awful, just seeing the creation fall in slow motion and explode into parts.
