  1. Bleach (Non Dubbed) and Ghost in the Cell intrigued me for some good time.
  2. These are all people from 'Outside the Brick' forums. He probably found the forums and has just been taking photos from posts.
  3. I've been doing a few more too. The ones with teeth baring make for great aliens, I love how they're turning out - I'll be sure to have some sort of moc around them :-$
  4. That is one amazing collection. Frankly I wish it was space though - More interesting to look at! :-P
  5. Awe, that's sweet! And my thoughts exactly on the new one. Using the 3 wheeler base is great, reminds me of when I was younger, I would make an attachment to the front to make the 3 wheeler. 4 wheeled! Everyone knows 3 wheelers are tipping death machines! Silly TLC. Glad to see the comeback of the motorcycle.
  6. 2 browns from the original set.. the name escapes me. 1 from the At-te(?) 1 from the clone battle pack. That makes 4 (yes, I did that in my head too!) Thats all I think :-$
  7. The Blacktron Intercept base and the Unitron Monorail sets are horribly good deals. Check it out spacefans!
  8. I got rickroll'd. In the real one, I like the use of K'nex though! :-D
  9. Happy to help. And just sayin, try to modify the head you like the least, first. I made the mistake of modding the one I wanted most, and guess what. I messed it up *wacko*
  10. Hehe! Great april fools joke. You almost had me going admittedly at first. I was like, what?? Then I thought about it for a second, like, no. It's been like this for years, why would they change the size. Then I realized it was April 1st, and read the following posts X-D
  11. Quite some times my poor mocs would hit the floor before a chance to go up to the camera. Quite sad really. Reminds me of as a kid, I would build small, bad, airplane like things, and drop them off the indoor balcony we had for abit :-D Oh.. the shattering..
  12. I love seeing alternative designs, and these are some great ones. I think it's great building with a limited inventory, makes you more creative and think of new ways to do things. I learned so much just building alternates of set 4508 *sweet*
  13. As far as I know, none of the others would either - as the minis after the first playset line seemed to use the same system as these. Infact I just looked them up - they use the same bodies as the barraki figs, which means, their head connection should be the same. ;-)
  14. None of the barraki undersea mini's have heads that fit necks fully. They only have a little bit that they can use to hook onto the neck, making them look.. kinda odd. Thankfully that start is there so you know the right size if you hollow it out. *sweet* Be careful if you do mod them! I'm happy to help anyone if they need any :-$
  15. Well, something I had been contemplating a while was using barraki minifigure heads on normal system minifigs. You cannot do this normally - because the heads usually attatch by means of pin, rather than the normal minifigure 'neck' size. I took it upon myself to mod this, and I'll take you along the experience! *sweet* First off I tried scraping away at the inner head slowly. Tedious, but I did it for a long while with quite some results. It hurt after awhile. Well, then I thought, hey, why not drill! So I did. First I used caution (and too small of a bit). This eventual wear down going in circles to open the gap abit more, with slight pressure, eventually gave way. Which led to me ruining the white head I worked hard on. No worries though! I figured out the next drillbit size up was perfect! 3/16 is the perfect size for a minifigure neck. (About 4.75 cm). After wasting a half an hour on the white head. Whithin a minuite, the dark blue head was done, and perfect. Viola! My quest complete. As for the white head.. can you see the hole? How about now? Well. Success! Just to make sure, I decided to make another one. And take pictures! Again, using a 3/16 inch drill bit, and a cordless drill, a firm grip, you will soon find the head to look like.. This. See the plastic shavings? Yay! And through the end of it all, I got my minifigures! This can be done with any barraki head. Feel free to try for yourself, however, be careful of the drill. Be steady now! What I did, was marker on the bit, approximately how far I wanted it to go in. When the neck got near the line, I stopped. Be careful if you do try. Don't ruin one like me! Sorry for dark or crummy pictures. This was all at my desk, and a spur of the moment thing. Hope you enjoyed my little adventure! *sweet*
  16. I like this. I have seen the skull visage integrated into other sets too, and this looks very nice and playable, a great hybrid.
  17. Toa Terrain Cralwer (Half Price) 35 USD Toa Undersea Attack (Half Price) 25 USD Barraki Deepsea Patrol (Half Price) 15 USD All in america, all half off, all a great deal, all a great parts pack, especially the terrain crawler, get 'em while you can! :'-) (I just ordered all 3) All current sales and deals!
  18. I may not agree with Al's thoughts on global warming's causes, but he's by no means a moron *wacko* And again, I am no hippy, but I am all for using earth's limited resources conservatively. Not because it harms the environment dramatically, but eventually we will run out. I don't think CO2 causes global warming (Let's not get into this topic and argue..) but I think we should still conserve gas, because yes, it is limited. The more we save the merrier. And just, if you can, why not save? It's just irresponsible not to, it would seem. But many are so much more wasteful than they need to be, I am, by no means, some sort of activist. But I use common sense. Lights off if I'm not in the room. Fuel efficient cars (if not for the resources, it's for your wallet). And recycle, just because it's not hard. Etc. Etc. It's just bad to waste.
  19. Lego's are relatively unwaistful compared to other companies. if I was to become an activist, I would target companies that make the basically expendable toys, like things you get in happy meals, cheap few dollar toys. These waste more plastic than one can probably imagine, especially compared to Lego. As for recycling, if all other toys end up in a landfill, I doubt Lego's would be recycled. Lego's are rarely thrown away - but I would look into what happens to all those garbage bound happy meal toys. *wacko* I also want to say alot of places that say the are 'green', are ironically not. Like advertising earth day on a laminated, non-recyclable piece of paper, which states how green they are. How ironic is that? It gets worse, but I don't want to start some controversy.
  20. Huuuuge pics, but they all look great. The only critiquing I can do is the last one seems to tall.
  21. We already lost 2 mods - We can't lose another original creator *wacko* I remember you guys being here in my flamboyant youth, and you guy's were there to straiten me out :'-( All them years ago.. It'd be unfortunate if we lost another. Why so many dropping out all of a sudden? Any particular reason? If it's an april fools joke, you're cruel :-D Maybe that's what you wanted. Blargh!
  22. Haha! The bone jokes make themselves in this moc! :-D Great stuff. Smooth and seamless.
  23. I bought the Toa Terrain Cralwer (again), Barraki Deep Sea Patrol, and that one other playset.. All were half off at lego.com now! All 3 for 75 bucks! :'-) Get them while you can. They are all GREAT sets, especially for parts packs! :'-)
  24. Now THAT is cool. Great concept, I wish they would've shown interior, or atleast cockpit, shots.
  25. Yay! Pictures! Thank you for the review. You made me actually consider looking it up on ebay, but I already have so so many things to get on my want list. Drat my easy ability to get sold on something lego!
