Some tips: The shape is decent, make it longer - Right now it looks like a barge! The bridge isn't astounding, it sticks out alot, and I would expect to see it at an airport rather than the command center of a top of the line space ship. Give it wings? Fill up those gaps? Give it some nice engines? Give it some big ole guns? The shape is a great start, however.

I would like to see some form of actual alien base. If not, some sort of movable compound, megaship. Not just an open platform like the old mothership, I mean like, a real, mothership. Other than that I am quite happy with what we've got, treads, a nifty robot, labs all around. The alien side is just lacking.

That seems somewhat rediculous, there wasn't anything suspicious atall? This can't be a common procedure for any retail store.. can it?

Oh how I love these plates. Afew years ago I found a local retail store with about 6-7 sets of these in their basement warehouse I was given special access to (along with MANY other old space goodies.. hehe..) I love the things, I have loads, and I've used them for multiple space bases and battles. Along with afew grey crater plates and the large grey plates (1.5x the size of a normal baseplate) you can get quite a monorail layout going. *sigh* I should really clean up and get one set up again, so I can take some pictures!

I am sorry to bump this thread; But I didn't want to create an entire new thread when there was already one created pertaining to the subject. I was a recent victim of the MISB scam. But I didn't buy it online, not from a garage sale, nowhere, but a retail store! Target to be exact. I bought the set, box, seals, seemed perfect. Even the box shaking sounded like lego's, so I thought. Nothing suspicious. So I bought it and went home, opened it, to find Megablocks. What?.. I was obviously confused and abit mad, so I went right back and tried to return it, after telling them the situation. They didn't allow me to get a new one untill I came back with my dad. Me being younger probably made them abit cautious of the situation. Once my dad came, they did give me a new set, but this I never expected from a retail store. How did this happen? I've heard it happening to multiple people, but how do they get away with it? Is there any way to stop it? I know you can track transaction with credit and such, and everything has a certain item number. Couldn't they find who the fraudulent returner was? And is this atall possible with cash even? I was very disappointed and surprised. First time anything like this has happened to me.

Sorry, I haven't seen if this was covered yet, but does anyone know how much the Volcano base, and the Scuba + Boat set, will cost in USD? Thanks if anyone knows.

Sorry guys, it's been pretty much ages since an update. Why there hasn't been one lately is, there has been no progress lately. With summer starting that's when I get more active and such, respectively. Most my time has been spent weightlifting and training for some triathlons. This is quite a time consuming task, and when I'm not doing these, I'm either sleeping, or with friends, or just have no energy, yet alone creativity, to build. Mind you, I will finish it eventually. Eventually I promise I'll make some progress soon and keep you in tune. The most I've done lately is just fill in the head bridge of the ship with some nice gadgets and a command post. Oh, and VBBN - What do you mean by portal? Any examples perhaps? And thank you Sinner, Maiq, and Warn, for your comments - I know the purple is out of place, It's just there for now, 'cause I love purple! Personally, I comment on moc's according to how I see them, if it's good and I like it, I'll comment, if I'm not a big fan, I won't. It doesn't matter to me if you're a friend or not. That's just bias. I'm not one for that, I just keep it an open slate. I also always give a nice review, and comments, about how maybe to fix it, if I see potential too. How alot of people get noticed, not just in EB, is using techniques, and doing things, people have never done before. Be original. (Also, good quality pictures, is a great help)

What I've done This Summer So far.. - Lot'sa weightlifting, as usual! - Parkour - Time with ladies - Dividing time between like 50 friends - Fireworks, occasionally (Mortars, anyone?) - Occasional bullet dodging with cops - Much more, and some I probably shouldn't say! What I haven't done, is an ounce of lego building. No time, But, alas, sometime I will. Summer hath been great so far

Discipline - Nine Inch Nails. It's from their new album - So far it's sounding great. Can't wait to get it, one of my favorite bands for sure. Great stuff.

Love what you've done with the hulls, alot of possibility here; one thing just kills me though. The legs! Ick! I really like this thing, except for that part. If you could get some awesome honking legs on this thing, it would be one menacing beast. Would love to see it expanded, but good job, thus far! ~Mark
