Wow, that's a very original idea. Very cool work, the first picture is especially brilliant.
  2. Haha. Very nice. Great little film, call me what you want, but I love that humor.
  3. The functionality packed into there is amazing. Spectacular work.
  4. New space police seems even more promising, although I must say I'm quite glad the power miners are prelim pics, those are disappointing, but if the current sets say anything, they should get much more refined.
  5. Dayumn.
  6. Fanbases are undying, my friend. The original star wars saga is over (I don't count the expanded stuff), yet look at it's original fans, and it's booming profit. Lego is a toy that goes on forever, legos are undying, and they can be passed down from generation to generation, there will always be fans, that's the toys main point here. From these blocks, we can create an infinite amount of other toys.
  7. New pics looks like a great line up, as far as Star Wars go. I'm still mostly interested in the Venator, I'd love to see its interior.
  8. He's made all of my (most recent) favorite sets. The prototype crystal sweeper is just plain awesome too.
  9. Isn't it surprising when you can build something large, coherent, and actually cool, yet you get no responses, and someone else builds a normal run of the muck spaceship and get loads of responses, praising its amazing build technique, even though there isn't any to be found? Yeah, I have the same problem. I think it comes down to it's harder to appreciate huge things like this - This section alone probably took the time of 5 - 10 normal small mocs, yet will get half the praise of one of them. It's a huge sacrifice, and yes, It does suck. It really is not easy building such a large thing, such as a scale of this. It's not easy making it coherent, interesting, making it look not cobbled. But this thing is very awesome even just so far. I am waiting for more and more progress on it. The greebles are very pleasing, and I especially like the barrels you made. And a question; how many floors will this have? It looks large enough for up to three, or will it just be one?
  10. I was actually fairly pleased with the Venator model. I have no huge fan afflictions with any star wars, but the Senate commandos looked just plain cool, and the Venator is much more complex in the way of shapes and such. The ISD is just a large triangle, the Venator has many more slopes and such which make it much more interesting and plain cool looking. If the thing doesn't cost too much, I will most likely buy it. (Only star wars set as of recent I'd be interested in) I really like the look of the blue commandos, though.
  11. The gun made from the robo rider body is very original and cool looking, well done.
  12. The alien seems like the best part of the new theme so far, but we have seen very little, so I will wait to finalize that remark, but the helmet just looks incredibly cool. I am very anxious, like everyone else, to see final set pictures. This is a very effective teaser.
  13. This is a very cute little thing, and I think its a vast improvement over the previous RC's they came out with. I have two of the technic ones, both picked up on sale, and they're fun for awhile, but just simply not as easy to mod as something like this. This looks much better for a younger audience. Nice review, and thank you for a video - This will solve any question of its speed and maneuverability.
  14. Although I detect nothing but pure awesome here, I can't help but think to myself, gee, that looks like just a small portion from one big, awesome, ship. I know it is supposed to be a small, quick, racer, but I can't help but think if you would've accentuated the back wings or something, it would be even more magnificent. The curves, axis points, and creases, are all very well done and practically gapless, which is not easily accomplished, well done with it all.
  15. Wal Mart here has many good deals. Dwarf Mine for 45 dollars, down from 60. Troll Warship (lots of them) for 64 dollars, down from 80. Temple of the crystal skull, for 64 dollars, down from 80. Aswell as the Hypersonic craft from the MM line, for, you guessed it, 64 dollars. I plan on picking up an extra dwarf mine tomorrow.
  16. Actually, how I knew they wouldn't give me a discount, is because I did ask up at the customer service. That's where they took it away. (I brought it with me to show them)
  17. I once found an utterly crushed and destroyed set at Wal Mart too, but they wouldn't give any form of discount, so they just took it away.
  18. We've waited this long, we can wait alittle longer Masterpieces cannot be rushed; I only hope this holds true with this theme. I am however, very curious for anyone who has apparently seen the pictures, to describe the actual sets more, rather than just the mini figures.
  19. 1. 27. Capt. Kirk - Le Quartier Brique 2. 32. SirNadroj - The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon 3. 36. Lord King of Everything - Die for the King! Some excellent, excellent entries.
  20. Eating loudly, eating with mouth open, being shallow, not using logic, and being closed-minded. I also seem to constantly annoy myself with ironically my own actions; not because of what I listed above, but rather, I like to be a person of logic and reason, and yet, I manage to have feelings and such that defy any given logic or reason. It annoys myself incredibly.
  21. The orange parts are definitely new, however, the common lime ones I have seen in numerous sets before, especially in the republic gunship, exo force, and the racers line.
  22. Megablocks does me a lot of good. They lower lego's prices here in America, which means, cheaper lego to me.
  23. I'm sorry if someone brought up this point before, I don't want to read through 32 pages to make sure. But I did alittle research, and brainstorming, over the odd color choice of lime green. It appears alot of the lime green parts used were previously used in other production sets. And if you have some knowledge of how sets are produced, they make a constant supply of pieces rather than finding exact part counts for exact amounts of sets. This means alot of extra pieces - potentially extra lime green pieces. Could it be PowerMiners are just a clever use of extra parts? No matter how you take it, I enjoy the theme genuinely.
  24. Simply astounding in every aspect.
  25. Seems like quite a nice little deal for how much it costs. Thanks for the little review.
