I very much liked the movie. Though, I do miss the squid.

In such times of economic struggle, possible job loss, and stress, it seems there are diminishing things that make one happy. Lately afew of my hobbies are my only escapes, aswell as my significant other. Even there there has been some stress involved. Everything is amazing these days, yet noone seems happy. I don't know if it's because of how the generation was brought up, or what, but it is a reocurring trend; just look at the amazing technology, but the new and unbridled amounts of negative attitude. I honestly have even lost time for my Lego hobby, and don't have the money for it. If anything, the money I spent on it all is starting to stress me. Immediately after posting I realized I was rather negative; my girlfriend and hobbies do make me happy, and I have a positive future, and I have my stuff together, unlike alot of teens these days. I am only a junior, and for my senior year, I will be attending a tech school and getting both that credit, along with highschool credits, and the school is paying for it. I get started on my 2 year degree for wind technology, which is a job in incredible demand and pays very well. I have been in a happy relationship for over half of a year, and am doing fairly well in school. I have alot to be happy for, but the stress lately has been catching up to me; my apologies for the negativity.

This is just awesome. Such a lovely, classic, original feel, that I don't get out of alot of things. No new shiny parts, no nothing looks weak or flashy. Just a solid, cool, build, and I really like that.

From what I see, the film will be very close to the novel (in terms of dialog and such). From the previews it looks greatly done. I am looking very forward to it. The changed ending (slightly) makes me nervous, though.

Sorry to dig this up, but I get this problem sometimes; I do nothing different in my upload procedures. What exactly makes an image dynamic, and how can I get around it so that I may post it on the forum?

The ice skates are amazingly original. Awesome job with those.

I really love the fact that you get the curved shape down, but you can still tell that it's made of lego due to the hard edges. Sometimes the absence of that streamline curvature should be prided, rather than discouraged. This is one of those rare cases.

I think the bot looks great except for the torso. It's well done with small integrated pieces, and complicated robotic looks, until you get to the big clunky slope pieces in the torso. I am also unsure of the function of the truck. Transport?

Although I applaud the windscreen use, I think this really lacks in the form of joint function. I may be incredibly hypocritical here (looking at my older mocs) but I would like to see at least some better effort in covering up those atrociously large and obvious joints.

I think it's doing extremely well. I was baited into buying all of them myself. They are very cleverly built, and have cute figures, and neat functions, aswell as fun colors to boot. I see less of a stock in PM, than I do with Star wars, or Pirates. This is reoccurring to all stores I go to. Yet I see no threads about Star wars or Pirate lines being failures?

It's a nice number in my mind. Just like 111 or 888, it all has the same digits and it's nice and rounded and similar. I see nothing wrong with keeping it around. I'm not a number intolerant.

Thanks for the pictures, they confirmed my suspicions. Very odd to see this piece turning up in opaque - I know the combine has some in green. I like that piece, for whatever reason, anyway.

Refreshingly original. I'm jealous you can build something so small and get such critical acclaim! Size really doesn't matter, eh?

Aslong as people remember the golden rule with posts. It's not the size of your post count, it's how you've used it. Although your post count shrinking does seem odd. Maybe it got alittle bit chilly?

Great review thus far, thank you. But as a simple request, I was wondering if I could get a shot of one of those odd red pieces which act as the funnel on the silo? I can't tell if it's new, or, what. Just looks interesting. It looks as if it's a windscreen, just made opaque.

The guy with the gold gun and hair looks like he would make quite a character for a comic or something. Snazzy indeed.

I totally didn't notice there is a very cool looking crane arm on the titanium command rig. I also fail to see how it turns into a tower, but hey, I like surprises. I don't think you would just tip it vertically. The new wave seems much less original, and I dislike them. I however adore the first wave - I have all their sets, which I cannot say about many other new themes.

The shape is beginning to look awesome and daunting. Concept art is definitely win aswell. I don't know how you did it, but it seems like there's tons of flat open planes of single color bricks on the thing, yet the whole thing still manages to be interesting. I've been at a standstill on my own work too. But it's great to see progress on this.

I had high hopes for this line. Thankfully, most of them were met. I definitely am in love with those aliens, but I'm going to wait for more price and set info before I pick out the ones I want.

Credit cards as a whole seem to be an entirely bad situation to get into.
