Thank you very much for your response. Our main point of Traveling was to not see the main touristy things everyone else does, but to, like you said, go out and see the rural villages and whatnot. A friend of mine asked me some specifics of where I was going, so I actually fashioned a makeshift map: The numbers represent nothing other than order. (If the image is too big, just tell me and I will remove the image tags.)

Hello all. You probably don't know me very well, or have even heard of me, but I've been around for a good while, popping in and out. *points at member joined number* I am calling upon you all today because I am going on a trip to Europe soon. And by soon, I mean a little under a weeks time. I am mostly going through Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Ireland. Considering this is Eurobricks after all, I figured I could get alittle more personal advice from you guys. Of course I have done research myself, and countless people have told me their stories and advice, but everyone always has something new to say, and I was curious what you guys had to say, so I came here to make this thread. To give alittle bit more background information, my name is Mark. I will be going with my girlfriend, Alex. This trip has been planned for about a year, and we have all the hostels accounted for, we have a rail pass, and we even have it scheduled down to when we are going to be going to Legoland. I will be traveling for 16 days in total. I should also say, this would be my first time traveling on an airline alone. I am going with Alex, as I said, but we have different flight times, airports, the works. (we had to do this because of frequent flier miles and such.) I have one layover in Boston. I would gladly accept any advice on airport travels, layovers, etc. If I have left out any information you could use to better advise me on, I would be happy to impart with it. Thank you for reading, your time, and your advice, Mark.

As far as my knowledge extends, if there was ever a time machine, we could only travel back in time until the first time machine was used. It has something to do with it being the first time the time space continuum was folded and such, but I could also just be talking a load of hocus pocus. In reality I don't think anyone knows the true answer to that one, but in any case, I think we can say it's unlikely.

I have some honest questions for a Canadian, preferably older, has a job, homeowner, etc. 1: How much of your earnings go towards taxes/government in total? (Percent is fine) 2: How much do you spend on health care? (monthly, yearly, if atall, and taxes not included) 3: How is the economy and house marketing there? (Are prices ridiculously inflated, or justified?) 4: Is there anything you would change about the government that effects you? I am basically asking this because I want a good idea of the money flow there.

Great use of the interlocking headlight pieces up on top. Other notable features are the great windscreen use and the mini figure legs in the back. Fun to look at, good stuff.

This seems great and well spirited. The Toy Story franchise is something that parents can really identify with and recognize, so that's some great marketing right there. The figures seem great; lots of new parts, in new colors, and all kinds of things. I will be watching for more.

George Carlin has some great quotes and ideologies. I found the quote mildly entertaining and has great satirical value without being too rash, so I made it signature material.

Nice find. Definately the coolest part of the set for me, heh.

Simply one of the best and most realistic looking tanks I have seen made out of Lego, ever.

Gotta get my hands on some of that purple.

Very clean and functional build, looks good. -
This is very tricky and it's something I've actually brainstormed and experimented on. I've tried various combination of different tubing, interlocking joints, and more. For ideas, it's actually great to look at some pro mecha builders; look at how they make their seamless joints, how they can rotate and move, yet always appear connected to the body and such. Some of the expert gundam builders are especially great at this.

When I opened this, I thought it was going to be a long topic about why AFOL collectors collect Lego Mini figures, rather than Star Wars action figures, perhaps measuring the pro's and con's of both. I was wrong.

Definately not a great set by any standards, but those triangular transparent rocky pieces are just beautiful. Although this set has alot of hate spewing around with it, it is definitely very playable and cheap. Could definitely see a little one begging for this set

You don't have to be a Star Trek fanboy to heavily enjoy the film. Which is good, as I am not. It was certainly great.

Amazing array of details, and excellently built with some great and new techniques. All the essences of a great moc! Awesome job. -
But the manliest of men have them anyway!

Well... Ironically, no.

Stories like that make me nervous leaving my 20lb unfinished space cruiser on top of it's stands. -
Very cute! I love the yellow one.

It's a great idea, for sure, although abit bulky. A nice alternative would be to just cut out a small rectangular mirror section; generally not too hard to find a place that sells/cuts mirrors aswell.
-
We already have effective treatment against it. It is just the fear mongering media in action.

Majek - 4 oo7 - 3 Very simple and realistic looking. (Though they look simple, there are actually great uses and techniques, which is a very masterful skill)

I also enjoy intelligent conversation. Atleast no one has brought up anything about happiness being only within your perceived reality. Or atleast I haven't said that what makes me happy is endorphins being released into my brain. I guess I enjoy taking things too literally aswell.

It surely is great news for me. I hope the color will appear more often for accents than it has recently, though.
