  1. Well, since this came up, @Lego2016Lego , who on this site has a RC car?, and if so, what type? Mine is a semi basic redcat drift chassis, with upgraded shocks. Most of the other parts have been replaced. I would definitely recommend the car to you @Lego2016Lego , unless you want to save 10$-20$ and buy a Exceed RC car. One thing about the exceed is that the body breaks easily, but good otherwise. My personal car is like this wrapped in gold pattern duct tape. Pretty messy in areas but works well. And I have red outline 14 spoke Hpi wheels instead of the regular wheels.
  2. Sorry, my search just have messed up, now I know next time.
  3. Hmm, seems I missed those. Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, pneumatic parts are more compact, but LA's are easier to use. The tubing part is the biggest disadvantage for pneumatics, they need a lot of tubing.
  4. Alright, if a topic is made already for this, blame me. I haven't seen a topic for pneumatics vs linear actuators , and it pops up alot, so I thought I would make a topic for this conversation that nobody wants to start, and I did. I thought of asking because 1) if there is a topic for this, not bump it. 2) I can't find it. So, as a start, I don't own any pneumatic parts, so if you think I am biased, whatever. I don't think they are better than the other. the LA's are easier to use, but harder to make compactly. The pneumatic system is more compact, but harder, I think, but you may have a different opinion. Ok, biased person, I know, but I haven't got any yet, but the next pneumatic set along I will buy and see if I am just talking badly about pneumatics. Feel free to share what you think, or if you prefer to remain anonymous, vote in the poll. Regards, @Aventador2004
  5. The title is messed up, it should be gallardo, not galladro. The body looks pretty good, but the front could use work. Maybe try using just one reciever, unless 2 functions aren't finished.
  6. Sad, is it to be able to have a rc hobby?
  7. Yeah, still working. I am trying to find a way with only regular springs.
  8. I meant continue this in the technic pub, like re asking there, "who is a lego knight?".
  9. 1) I try not to spend to much into lego for money for rc drifting, ( I have a redcat 4wd drift chassis i use daily) make sure to save a little on the side, I got mine for around 140$, and have spent about 70-80$ of replacement parts in it. 2) that should be fair. 3) you think that sounds right?
  10. 2 things, I recently became one too ^^, and you should move this to technic pub.
  11. Around $500-$600 would probably be good, the pf is at least worth $300.
  12. UPDATE: ldd file is being made for this excavator. This should allow me, if wanted, to make instructions. The digger has a bit of trouble picking up heavy things, but it works ok.
  13. 1) one of my steering hubs bent from sunlight, so I try not to let that happen. 2) is it a good onel? If so it would maybe lighten the mood.
  14. What do you mean? There already is one.
  15. Your hammerhead instructions being free will forgive you . The only thing was when I accidentally broke a 16x2 plate and made a 7x2 plate from it. not exactly a sin
  16. I don't have a sbrick, maybe I will get one soon, but my lego budget is low, the parts I ordered cleared me out mostly, sometime if I sell the ir receivers I will get one.
  17. Yes, I meant ESC, whoops. 2: they all connect using plugs so they are compatible in a lot of configurations 3: no, the esc is a separate piece.
  18. Me too, works well with reg tape also. or get a pair of plastic drift tires.
  19. I shall help, as I own a rc car myself. 1, you need a reciever, a dsc, controller, a motor (380 should be perfect), and a servo (unless you chop a lego servo cord and perform surgery. 2, they work very fast at range and I have tested it to go 0.09 of a mile away. 3, they are different , a transmitter is the controller, the receiver is the part with the antenna. 4, redcat 540 motor, hexfly servo, Redcat remote, hexfly transmitter.
  20. Yeah, it's not super scaled, but I learned a lot about excavators. I will gather some pins and I am making a dump truck with it for a set experience and a new video. Yup, soon I will get some of the elusive yellow . Thanks! I thought it looks way better now than the red sploches. I also agree it looks better with exposed tracks. It is very stable on soft carpet and does not rock when moved, and the input from all has helped me add more details. The ground clearance was like that so I didn't put battery on top. It is fast, but it doesn't dig below due to the low chassis. Last thing, would a dump truck add something to this if it was a set?
  21. hmm, maybe tracked digger will work. UPDATE: new chassis, digger arm, and work rails. @ColletArrow i like the idea for different attachment, but i may save that idea for a different version. yellow and white scheme now, is it better now @mocbuild101? i dont have many yellow parts. new cabin. uses battery, 2 L motors, 2 M motors, 2 IR Recievers, and maybe a pair of lights.
