  1. I’ve been on one at Universal Studios in Florida they are neat little things Yeah, those are like a horizontal escalator
  2. I don’t have money for any motors, but I might be able to pull off a custom clockwork motor with my technic parts And I don’t have the standard train wheels available
  3. Thank you looking at it now
  4. I sadly don’t have any of the LEGO train motors available to me
  5. Hey @dr_spock would you have any advice for designing a double track cannon that’s larger than a Gustav? The tracks would be spaced 4 studs apart from rail to rail is my idea as of now
  6. That’s an interesting mechanism for raising the missile when it needs to be fired how is it built?
  7. I know the Concorde makes an appearance in one of the James Bond movies when they were still in use
  8. I will look more into their mechanisms when I get a chance. They look pretty promising for use on the rails
  9. Hello does anyone have any advice for building custom pull-back or clockwork motors using technic pieces? I’m trying to build one for a custom armoured train since I don’t have the money for all the fancy motor pieces. Thank you
  10. That’s an idea for a design having pop-up turrets with the sliding roof could be a cool feature i will look into it when I figure out my custom motor situation
  11. Hello im looking into designing a custom pull-back or clockwork motor for a LEGO Armoured train that I plan on building. The front unit is going to be articulated to the rest of the train using hinge pieces and similar to Talgo rolling stock. The only issue is building the custom motor to power the train. Where on the train should the motor be built at? And what gear ratios should I use to make it work? important things to note is that I don’t have proper train wheels and I use certain technic pieces that work on the tracks, so the cars ride a little lower than regular trains would Also, I believe that Custom Rail Vehicles was a term I created for this topic, if I’m wrong, tell me please
  12. Here is my armoured locomotive, Eternal Night. She is built to haul the White Lion Railways leaders private train, Eternity. She is capable of operating in space as well. both turrets rotate 360 degrees and fire. The plow is pretty strong and can take out some strong magnetics toys connected together with no damage . She is able to take curves quite well as well.
  13. Hello does anyone have any advice on designing armoured trains that can operate at high speeds or are built to launch ICBMs? I’m trying to think of the next MOC I should do regarding armoured rail vehicles
  14. I found a decent designing site now
  15. Stud.io requires that other things be downloaded to open it, but those other things that it asks for do not work with it
  16. I installed it to the device itself, not the browser, just the device itself runs on Chrome OS and I will try stud.io. Thank you for the alternative
  17. When I went to download it from the LEGO site, it said it was discontinued and Took me elsewhere on the site nevermind, I found it and downloaded it but it’s not compatible with Chrome OS
  18. No way of getting LDD LEGO has discontinued the service and I cannot download it because of it
  19. the platforms are meant to be a little spartan so that builders can customize them their way, and the colors will be better when the set is produced. its just hard working with limited resources and the bus is only part of the modular transit vehicle subtheme im working on, it will include other sets that i put up later such as trams, subways, monorails, etc...
  20. is that a good meh or a bad meh? thats a set i posted to try to get better rapid transit sets made. when it gains enough support, i will do a tram set, then a subway set, then regional rail(maybe), then a monorail of some type. like the research of vehicles in the game, Traffic Giant
  21. hello this is my idea for a city/town set for a better Lego bus. the vehicles are built in modules to allow custom changes that a person may want for their bus. the modular design also makes it possible to make longer buses using more sets since they have extra pieces for doing so. the sets will include alternate instructions for making the buses into longer articulated buses for Bus Rapid Transit systems in a city. these sets will be cheap since each set only has about 213 bricks in it. don't let the number of bricks fool you, however, as the set will still have good playability. some of the features that the bus has is a folding chair for a wheelchair to be seated as well as the ability to customize the vehicles with more ease. when two or more sets are combined for one big articulated bus, theres even more playability because the bus now pivots at a joint or two. theres also the extra pieces that you get from just one set that can go towards other projects if needed. my goal is to get to about 1000 supporters on this project, if not enough to make it a real set that everyone can enjoy. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/624c9c1a-a950-4524-b7ae-6ff372c1cb08
  22. how about a set such as this? a bus set with modular vehicles to make longer buses if desired it would make a great addition to any city and can fit a good number of minifigures by the looks since it is 8 studs wide. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/624c9c1a-a950-4524-b7ae-6ff372c1cb08
  23. I will be sharing regularly when I figure this out i will see about the link thing when I get a chance today
  24. Slopes would be a little tricky but it’s an idea
  25. Sadly, not everyone has the ability to make brick built roadways for tram lines
