Each entry need to pick set which has part less than 300~500.(At first I think 500 is good limit but after find some sets 300 will better.) And expand it as much as possible with lot of new functions. Of course must include function on original set. And allow electronic in this time. Any kind of licenced set is not allowed. Or I bring back rally car/stock car contest or fantasy car contest again.

I will also pick 2018 is last best year to technic theme. Because one leason - 2018 is last year when flagship set is not licensed.(Not count 1:8 car sets)

At first, that is ripoff. Not real. Second, those black axle and LBG joint is loose in even in original lego so axle can slide in joint piece. Is engine always stop in same place? Than maybe problem caused by fake parts.

I don't know about the orange rotary catch, but the 3L rings will never go away because of the half stud alignment issues caused by odd/even with 2L rings. In fact, as far as I know that is the reason why the old 2L ring was discontinued and the 3L ring came out.

One more to many information - Train motor also use same motor too but change is hard because it has shaft on both end. For set, I hope can make some kind of fast buggy as alternate model which use differential as 2:1 acceleration gear.

Actually both motor's internal DC motor itself has same size. So it's not impossible swap internal motor of both. And maybe it will more awesomer if we remove one stage of planetary gear of L motor(I don't like those company but like mould king did in black furious L motor.) TMI : spike large angular servo/C+ angular motor also use that motor.

Sariel upload 42159 Yamaha MT-10 SP video but deleted very soon. It seems that he immediately uploaded what I was trying to book on the embargo date. It include LOT of intersting new part. The video went down before I saw that part, but I could see it floating very small at the bottom. Include New rotary catch looks like very realistic in medium azure - It work as like real car's transmission. New transmission lever for new catch in normal orange - It work with upper parts. New 2L transmission ring in looks like LBG - It is same length with old red 2L ring but smaller diameter and 8 notch unlike 4 notch like other ring New 24t clutch gear in red - I'm not sure, but once I look at the later part, it looks like 24. Tire and wheel is same with BMW except wheel is blue.

That gear is actually very slightly smaller than those wheel. I also suprised it can fit. In theory this could be fit, but I haven't tested it yet.

So. Daytona seems bad choice. The biggest reason is that there are too many rare red parts. I change my entry to 42098. Even I don't have but it looks have lot of interesting mechanisms. It scale down as x0.53. And I also surprised no one picked this set. Here is current progress. Front main truck is 80% finish and little blue car is 100% finish. Yes I know it looks odd but there's a reason for that. Because I made all function of original set except car catcher and small mudguard part don't exist yet. I mean, ALL. Both car and truck has 2L(car), 3L(truck) engine driven by RWD with 1:1.67 ratio and HOG steering. That is to tight no more room left for any other thing. And all blue part in this car except half stud thick beam can change to dark azure part like original. But cause my local part bender don't deal with 15L dark azure beam I will keep on blue car. Side skirt will change color and shape. I need to get new connector for steering and 5 more smooth tire for main truck and trailer. Cab tilting is also work like original set. Except there is no knob for it. Tilting sliding bed use small linear actuator. But due to short work range of actuator, I use some link combination insted original's diagonal link. This is the part I don't like the most but maybe I need to use it on trailer. But at least it work very well! both door also can open and has some simple interior inside. It also has twin steering like origianl set. Because of this, I can't put cab tilting knob. Also, the gear ratios of the two axes are slightly different due to similar space issues.
