Tamiya mini4wd's motor is smaller than that. It is same size with motor which used on PF M, wedo M, spike medium. But still not possible to replace because all of lego motor accept 7~9V but those accept 3V. and need to much more ampere. If you replace motor and connect, battery or receiver's motor driver chip will burn away. I burnt my 8184 module's chip for that reason. (I used atomic-tuned on that list) But If you still want to replace motor for fast speed and more torque, mini-z motor and component will work. They have brushless motor too! Remember, you need to replace both motor and controller.

Form factor looks like MUCH worse than this chinese sh*t. Now I can hope it has more speed, tourqe and good runtime but considering 3.6v output of battery any of that can't expect. At least TLG used bigger motor which used in PF L, C+ L, spike large. Not normal FA-130 which used in PF M, wedo M, spike medium.

After finish studless 8480 Space shuttle, I found this is very fun to build. So I decided build another one and 8479 Barcode multi set is selected because it is same age with me and I like green. Thanks to lot of john deere sets relesed recently, lot of green parts is easy to getting. Except 32009 double bent beam. Of course I will build other 3 model of this set as alternative as this model like what I did in studless 8480. Function Both rear wheel is connected to rotary incoder for speed reading and L4 engine on cabin. Can motorised like original set. (Original model drive middle wheel only and don't have engine) Both rear wheel has pendular suspension. (Original set has simple lifting axle on rearmost wheel) Front wheel steering with HOG and steering wheel. Grabbing and lifting work using on force sensor on claw. Tilting dump bed using linear actuator and another force sensor which detect function select lever changing. (Like original set) I used spike prime hub and motor for testing but soon will change it to robot inventor's hub. Model is no 85~90% finished and need more green 9beam and programming. And cause my programming skill is not that good to make barcode reading, I will make it just like normal mindstorm set.

I found this image on internet. At first I think this is fake but considering wheel's quality looks like real set or some kind of prototype model. Rear tire use 49.5x20 and 49.5x14 to make thick tire.

My another WIP Fiat Abarth 131 rally car Function Mcpherson strut independent suspension on front Swing arm independent rear suspension RWD Spare tire on trunk Maybe I will add inline-4 engine and openable door, bonet, trunk. Now I need yellow small mudguard. Or now I considering use orange insted yellow. Orange huracan will be good part donor for this model.

I like blue color because blue 5x11 panel is to much rare. -
All I asked for for the C+ contest was any hub, 4 motors, and no sensors. I don't think this condition is that difficult, and I think it's quite possible since we've already done something similar with the S Brick Contest. It is true that there were few participants in the transformation vehicle contest, but I think this may be due to the vagueness of the topic. I participated, but I couldn't think of any ideas, so I asked the local community for ideas. Regarding Mindstorm, as far as I know, it was a Technic & Mindstorm forum from the beginning, then the model team came in, Mindstorm left in response to a request to create a separate Mindstorm forum, and then merged again due to not enough posts. .

Mine is Twin motor excavator All six functions of the excavator operate using only two motors. All drive shafts had to be routed without overlapping, and in the case of version 2, the lower part of excavator is quite dense. Studless 10262 DB5 It retains the same size and all gimmicks as the original model, but has been made studless and added a working engine and steering system. In particular, the ejection seat and front machine gun were the most difficult. Studless 8480 Space shuttle A/B model Although the clutch gear and mixer drum were inevitably used, there was a personal constraint to reproduce model only with parts that were in production at the time, and while the bottom was made very thin with approximately 1 stud to accommodate the satellite, the axes and gears for the operation of the rear booster and landing gear were used. Of course it had to be durable at the same time. Also, after completing the A model space shuttle, I planned to build a B model submarine using only those parts. This part was also tricky too.

The portal hub, which had not been released for 3 years since 2021, suddenly appeared in 42180. Considering that the hub of that model was empty with no gears inside and can be replaced with other parts, it appears to have been used in the process. While bring back portal hub for this model.
