  1. According to the online configurator, the lighter more friendly colour is called "Rapid Blue". It might be a good joice to use azure for recolering instead regular blue.
  2. Here we are. I want to share some insights of the build later.
  3. Yeah the model is part of RacingBrick's B-model video series. Thanks for sharing :)
  4. And thats with the reddish orange in a small Set. Sounds good.
  5. Truely that. It's the best Inventory I've ever had in my hands. The amount of connectors and flipflop beams is insane beside of that lovely orange that makes a summer smile into the face
  6. Curious what the little Valkyrie color it is. There is a lack for green in 2025. Maybe it comes in regular green or finally dark green (earth green) in Technic.
  7. Oh there is still enough time. Not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow :)
  8. 1064 raw American Horsepower in my 20th B-model! In 2025, Chevrolet expands the iconic Corvette C8 family with the brand-new ZR1 that comes as an alternate build to you. Get ready to max-out your 42172 McLaren P1 inventory for something new on April this year.
  9. Dont know. But all that new moulds seems useless for only one model back in 2022 and the Helicopter release cycle is every 4 years
  10. The 42214 Lamborghini Revuelto screams for C+ set with the new Hub. If they made the triangular lights lighting and the Car comes in the new reddish orange, this could be a very cool set. Next year we can expect some new larger Helicopter
  11. My thoughts. It was the set number 42114, so it would be cool that the Excavator has the number 42214 instead 42115
  12. Yes, the 1:16/1:17 Cars as a collector series are very popular. Small sets for reasonable prices as "gifts" for inbetween. The only thing to complain about is that the 42098 Car Transporter can't handle this large amount of cars and that there is definitely some new adidtional Transporter needed.
  13. Thought the same, thats very cool. Such an old panel and many construction machines are not enough, it needs a F1 Bolide to finally get this part in yellow. It is very welcome.
  14. True true we will see what is coming. The C+ system with common motors and the 4-port hub has expired. The 42146 Liebherr was the last C+ model in this series, no C+ with common components in 2024. We will not see the retired hardware again when TLG is focusing on newer components. Many people hate Control+, its now reduced to its absolutely minimum of hardware.
  15. It is easier to develope the C+ App Interface for models without complex gearboxes in order for the calibration and also for the playability. Imagine how boring the CAT Dozer was to play with the App. Some programmable features for the model and some "auto-play" features requirering one Motor per function. The 8043 Excavator and also the 42100 was very popular models so thats no surprise they made an Excavator again, and if the App-Interface and the controlling is good then such a model will be a big success. Its not hard to use the integrated hub in the upperstructure. Axles on Port A and B in parallel for the Jib and Bucket/Claw and the Port C behind with and axle underneath to the LA's for the boom
  16. Agree, but more friendly than requirering 12 AAA batteries. Thats the world we're entering in. Keep things simple as hell for RC sets and things complex with gearboxes for regular builds like the Cars or Motorcycles. TLG spent alot of effort into the new integrated HUB, not only for using for boring cars. This piece of hardware is the future for the next C+ models and using two of the hubs is very likely for an excavator with 6 RC functions. Only downside is that the hub can't act as a counterweight at the far end, but this wasn't also the case for the 42100.
  17. Lego is using the new C+ hub for future remote controlled sets. So this excavator might use two hubs with 6 builtin motors. One hub with motors for the undercarriage and one for the upperstructute. Sounds for an expensive Set. The new designed hub screams for a tracked vehicle, so thats no surprise they made that excavator
  18. Finally after some decades new engine blocks without studs
  19. Knob gears with bars is not a bad idea for this little thing.
  20. Image from Stonewars. No green nor lime green in this wave. So we can expect something larger green-ish in the summer. Maybe some John Deere again.
  21. They are using yellow non-friction pins here for the look, which is great especially above the logo. Imagine how awful it would look with a black pin. The designer who decided this deserves some extra bonus. For me this set is one winner for the 1H2025 wave.
  22. 1800 units for the 42114 Grader is insanely good. I am on 1100 for the 42111 Pickup and 1000 each for the 1:8 cars as the highest numbers though COVID and later.
