  1. @Alex Ileayou can check Brickset for inventories. All new August sets are listed including the big ones
  2. It's too early to share something 'cause only digital sketches are done with some random part tests. I'm waiting for August 1st to finally start physical building. To me personally this set is the winner of the August wave (and maybe to entire 2024). It has such great inventory with a huge varity of parts for a reasonable price and lots of potential.
  3. The parts list you shared end of May for the set is pretty accurate, that is very stunning. Some parts are missing like lights, smaller panels, new parts and pneumatic hoses that all can easily spotted on pictures to complete the list. Your sharing makes it possible to work on alternative build for this set two months before the set is released. Thank you @R0Sch for your hard work and your tireless dedication.
  4. Beside the clean bodywork the model features some nice technical tricks. There are two kinds of differentials for the front axle and the rear axle. Last time this was on the 42156 Peugeot Hypercar, but the rear and the front axles are not connected together there, normally producing different gear output ratios. For this Mercedes G500 there is equal gear ratio required for the front diff and the rear diff, especially when the center diff is locked. The only possible and clever done solution is to connect the newer 28T red diff with 0.5 offset to 20T bevel gear, to match the ratio for the front diff. Can't wait to build this model to see more cool building techniques and surprises.
  5. The guy who designed 42156 Peugeot also designed this car. Does anyone know if Uwa Wabra is retired from Lego? Nothing heared about him for a long time
  6. Yes you are right. Thanks, did not see it before. It shows also two pneumatic switches
  7. You are right about that. There is no pump in the model and no tubes. Weird fun fact: TLG adverts this "feature" as pneumatic function
  8. Two small yellow cylinders are used for Hydrofoil arms
  9. Useless thread. Makes attention by title but is totally misleading. No confirmed model, no confirmed release date, no model info and pictures.
  10. Model and release date are not confirmed. Its again a pure speculation thread
  11. Its not a bad idea. Who wants to spend the full price on the car gets a nice addition, and people who want to buy at discount can live without it
  12. Looks to me like a stand with turntable to display/rotate the car on top of it
  13. In fact its a good set with a lot of potential and a great varity of parts. Tracks, wheels in three different sizes and tons of liftarms, panels and many other useful parts in useful colours
  14. Great joice. No one needs tons of expensive new sets in midden of hot summer
  15. Thank you very much for your time and your knowledge about this new piece. When I first saw it, I was sure that this part was made for the Technic world. The crossaxle connection and the odd 7 module length indicates it much as Technic piece, but surprisingly there is no Technic set yet using it. I spotted it First in the new Retro Radio and was very surprised
  16. Its even more strange that Friends moves to 42xxx this year in 2024 and not in 2023 with the reboot of the theme. So the "new" Friends theme had 41xxx only for a year in 2023 and now 42xxx which means that Technic needs to be moved any days
  17. Friends is the new 42xxx and Technic can't go above 42600 number. Still a lot of room for models but very unusual to have the same numbers in two different themes now.
  18. Does someone know why the FRIENDs Sets shares the 42xxx product numbers with Technic this year? Looks like Technic is getting new numbers maybe next year. Its uncommon that two powerful but independent themes shares the same numbers
  19. 42621 Hospital comes with a promising new worm gear part that was used for the elevator. Looking forward to see it in more cool models like for amusement park or something else
