    Hello, Firstly, thanks for sharing such a detailed log of the build I enjoyed reading and it was very understandable :) I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures, liking the sound of it’s accidental angle as a result of miscounting your pieces. Sorry about the difficulties with the panels, they are a pain! Hope it was worth the effort, this was my first attempt at a model of this scale and this section of the model was the most difficult for me. It took ages and still resulted in not the best solution. I have always hoped to revisit this model and this would definitely be a prioritised area to improve. Glad you enjoyed the build overall!!!

    https://gyazo.com/6590d6058d2599578b50a472762183e4 Hello, the mandibles is that section above in the screenshot. If you look at 75192 this section flows a lot better rather than being staggered and blocky.

    Looks pretty good nice interior! However, the mandibles could definitely be improved, rather than using staggered bricks I'd suggest using hinges and plates to form a smooth singular faced angle.

    Nice mods, replacing the fins with bricks rather than plates looks great and was my main gripe with the model!

    I'd have to agree, this is well overdue and would be quite easy to design! My UCS version happens to scale with 75252 and is sub 3000 pieces, so it's definitely possible! Maybe we won't get it for even longer now though due to the gunship :(

    Unfortunately I don't own the set :( Originally I was going to do something similar to 75252, but due to the more complicated shape of the harrower, I decided otherwise. The cut out at the front means that I can't construct it all as one large triangle.

    Hi, the structure I have now seems to be very sturdy and sound. I don't see much point in designing a whole new frame when I have one which works quite nicely. Are there any advantages to the 75252 frame?

    It's coming together quite nicely, I'm very happy with the shape. I've got some parts coming from Bricklink to finish the bottom panels and start designing the bridge section. The front of the frame doesn't exist yet, which is why the panels are sagging slightly at the front.
