Rendering LXF on apple?
Lego_Talk replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I am still getting the same "no such file found in directory". I used Textedit and converted to plain text and unchecked the box "If no extension is provided use '.txt'" when saving. What file type is yours @M2m ? -

Rendering LXF on apple?

I have the same problems. For me, I open the Bluerender.bat but then it can't find the right file and that's it. -
LDD 4.3.11 Update Discussion
Lego_Talk replied to ImAChangedMan's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I tried this but as it says, it won't work for all macs. Unfortunately that was mine. I have tried this tutorial before without success. Are there any other options? -

Is there a forum where I can see how to render through LDD on mac? Or does anyone know how if possible? -

Hi, Could I please join? I have quite a few sets I want to review with the help of this tutorial. -
A member on Reddit has found the box art for the 20139 Shanghai Skyline set. Seems quite official since it's not blurred or watermarked. The pale blue looks really beautiful and I am curious to see the spiralling black tower in more detail! Here's the link - https://i.redd.it/hm3hqrhrb9zz.jpg

Yes, I've seen these amazing images and they are fantastic! I only caught wind of them whilst reading one of the issues from Blocksmag. His works are truly amazing and it amazes me how these mocs look so wonderful in colour and pieces.

21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V (LEGO Ideas)

I coincidentally found out that my Myer store (in Australia) was selling limited stock so I bought one straight away. As a bonus, I got a $30 discount through a promotion. I haven't opened it yet but certainly will be soon. The box was much bigger than I expected. -
Maybe they'll bring back some of the classic style space stuff. I'd like to see that, especially the trans yellow windows. I'm very interested to see what will be in these sets. I suppose LEGO will try and keep this a secret for as long as possible. I hope this is wrong because I don't want to be spending $150 for a red bucket.

The 2018 first half lineup looks quite impressive, especially the colour combos and piece types. The Outback Adventures--especially that buildable dog!--is probably my most favourite, but that's a tough call. I only grudge is with the creator logo which looks unfinished on the box art.

They were on Reddit a few months ago with all the other leaked images but I'm not too sure where they are now. Just be aware that leaked images are not allowed on Eurobricks forums. LEGO will release these pictures soon as both sets (20138 Las Vegas and 20139 Shanghai) will be available in January. I did a quick search (which didn't take long at all) and there are some pictures floating around.

Nice job! They almost look like Mixels. They look super creepy!

What a great idea with the interactive images and excellent work with the imaged headings @Jim ! Unfortunately, this set will never make it to my house. I'd be lucky enough to see it in real life. One point of suggestion for the future reviews: show the final model with a 360-degree function. This would look especially awesome with the Millennium Falcon!

You could try and render a digital version and then enhance as you wish.

This sure is a lovely set. I am quite keen on getting this one but I really want to find it on sale first which I admit will be hard.

This is most likely the most appealing set for me and it's good that the data sheet shows a good deal. Since you gave it 9/10 @makoy, I will certainly put it higher on the wanted list. How would you recommend the Master Falls [70608]. I'm thinking of adding it to a jungle themed display...and the pieces look harder to find colourwise.

I don't like how Batman minifigs have the black headband for the eyes, it's hard to use their normal face without a mask for other purposes. -
I wonder how these people manage to get their hands on these types of sets so early. It's quite ironic that there's a sticker on the box saying not for commercial use.

I would prefer buildings focussing on the architecture more than vehicles.
