  1. This looks amazing! Great photography and set-up. I genuinely thought they were 3 different builds at first. But together they all make perfect sense forming a good and complete buid The story was fun and enjoyable to read too! I love the flash-back writing you did!
  2. I actually wanted to make grapefruit and citrus trees/bushes :p
  3. Under fruit-wines falls basically everything that isn't a wine made of grapes. And wine in and of itself isn't just grapes either. Especially since wine itself is basically as old as civilisation, and fruits were mostly used in places where there didn't have grapes, for example if the climate didn't allow for it. Although I do understand the confusion since in the modern day people tend to associate wine only with grapes. Only reason I personally know about them is because I dislike the taste of "normal" wines in real life, but tend to enjoy fruit wines, since they tend to be A LOT sweeter and I enjoy the fruit-like taste ^^. In short, it's literally just wine but made from anything that isn't the standard grape. I would suggest giving this page a read, whilst trying out a bottle of fruit-wine yourself ;). https://cherrywine.com/learn-about/fruit-wines/ But anyways, if that's the case, I'll happily replace all the trees with grapes. Just wanted to make the thing look a bit more varried rather than just rows of grapes :P.
  4. Yet another question from me! I was working on some buildings for the RNTC and I was wondering, I intend to make a large plantation with an orchard attached (Large enough to count as a seperate license). The orchard would be to make fruit-wines, since I don't want to stick to just grapes... Could I still classify them as "wine related plantation" for the bonuses, or am I going to have to specifically add grapes in order to make it count?
  5. I don't see anywhere it says no one noticed? The guard notices a whole Squadron carrying a chest leaving the city? And there is a clear "would likely not notice", clearly being "not likely". Plus, if you really want to go that way, I'd say feel free to have your character be eating breakfast at midnight and noticing a guard column leaving the city? Or just roll with it, ask the guard, or have the guard tell his supervisor who tells someone else who spreads a rumour or something
  6. Even if it was, if you're not Meta gaming, your character would literally not know the difference. Unless your character studied the Quiver previously, and would be studying it continuously right now. If the character would have never studied the thing, they simply wouldn't know ever unless someone told them. Meta gaming is a dangerous thing, and the RP'er who can withstand the temptations, no matter how alluring, tends be the better RP'er. (Plus makes it more fun too in my opinion, could be an interesting story hook, looking for the ""lost"" quiver) But regardless of that, Really nice build! I love the small diorama!
  7. Such a cute little boat! Loving the colour combinations, the pink/coral/whatever stands out and complements the dark red really well!
  8. A really good looking build, I like how green the cliff is and the general colour accents!
  9. Cute build, can't wait for the larger mine! And mercury? Well, better get ready to hire some extra men
  10. A fun story and a nice build to go with it! I agree with Giancarlo tho, the pink would have been fabulous :P !
  11. Hahaha, that's amazing! A cute little (totally not relatable ) build!
  12. Eventually, probably yeah! But first my character needs a reason and story to do so. But we'll arrive there eventually ;)
  13. Yeah, I've joined Oleon about a year ago already (Damn, time goes fast. But hey, ship is currently finally being put into real bricks. Ready to start my story soon!). And of course, I'll stay within the boundaries of the game. Although the reason I went for Oleon was because of the arts/culture thing. I am wanting to go artifact hunting and exploration style for my story! :D And yeah, I understand the maintenance part etc. But for example, I could help with troop raising builds / ship construction builds and then just sell them to Oleon. So for example my characters men would be named as if they are my characters, but just be Oleonic on paper (and do whatever Oleon needs them to do as they'd own them in anything but name) For ships, the first 100Db for free will help quite a bit! But the free class 2 vessel, weeeeelll.... I am fairly certain my ship will be a good amount of levels above that already. Sounds like I'll just have to build lots of plantations to pay for the upkeep ^^.
  14. @Keymonus @Ayrlego Thanks!! Looks like there's plenty of diversity to go for. If a specific part of an Island isn't mentioned. For example if a rumour on talks about the south side of an Island rather than the north, I'm assuming I can just do the good ol' "I'll be first so I get to set the specifics" for this part? And another question that's seperate from this, I don't have to be part of the EGS before I can join an Adventure MRCA, right? Or did I read it wrong? Do I still need to register/license my ship or will a free build suffice in that regard? And how does that work for wars. Can I for example still join a teams war-effort without being in the EGS? For example if I want to join the battle with my ship despite it not being officially in the EGS? Especially since I want to join those things in eventually but I don't really feel like joining in on the economic side to be honest... I just like building ships and roleplaying adventures and such with them, the economic side is too much of a hassle for me 😅 (Plus I'd literally never be able to pay the upkeep for my ships with the few I've been working on) Thank for answering in advance! P.s. I'm sorry for asking so many questions, I might be reading over things or understanding some things incorrectly
  15. Thanks!! :D And for the versions with the zones, I'm assuming the versions with them get posted in the MRCA topic? And I don't suppose there is an overview of what island is what biome either? I want to stay true to the in-universe terrain features
  16. Silly yet cute animals! I'm a really big fan of how you did the hedehogs. Which hair piece did you use? I'll have to copy that too!
  17. Real life construction of L'Aurelie has begun. Hull section 1 of 4 has been completed. Waiting on the BL orders to start hull section 2/4. More pictures, including a size comparison to the 3 in 1 creator pirate ship are on Flickr. L'Aurelie by Thomas Waagenaar Please ignore the missing tile on the gunport. I forgot to put that on before taking the pictures :P
  18. That looks lovely! I'm a big fan of the colour combinations
  19. Was looking at the trade value thing etc and was just wondering, does anyone have the most recent / up to date maps from all the regions with their settlements? I'm looking around but the total overview map is simply too small to be able to read anything and I can't find any other maps elsewhere There's so many islands and settlements, and half of them are still just numbers on the few maps I found, makes it difficult to properly "see" anything as someone who hasn't been keeping up with the towns and their placements Thanks!
  20. The writing is amazing! Had a good chuckle when reading it. The buildings are nice too as an added bonus!
  21. That actually was the other location I was thinking of 😅 This guy right here, but wasn't sure if that was a leaf or not due to the angle and I didn't see any stripes on it either, so I went for the other guess :p
  22. Alright, so, I spent 10-15 minutes on this next one and I'll probably have it wrong. But ehhh, here goes!
  23. That looks really cool! I think I'm going with a yellow building too in my next project, seeing how well the colour works. :D And obviously I couldn't be not looking for the camouflaged chameleon, sooo... Did I get it right? :P
  24. These look really good! What did you use for the hat pieces?
  25. That looks really nice! I love the colour palette you chose!
