Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Don´t know what I wanted more: a Winter Soldier set or a set with the classic Skull v.s. Cap. I guess the Jeep and Cap will be horrendous modern style. At worst probably even the same Cap fig as the Ameri-Cycle set with the same botched face printing. I just want classic comic-Cap with his wings or at least any of the outfits from Cap 1. Modok set is a bit better with Taskmaster now but I don´t think he can save the set. Probably a good value if it gets a price drop but it would have to be a regular store set for that which I am not expecting right now. Seeing how the Marvel game includes apparently every character that gets released in the Spidey sets, Red Skull and Modok I would expect Thor and Cap to be either the movie version figs (which would be identical to the Assemble cartoon anyway) or the comic-versions where Cap is regular blue (haven´t seen more than the icon) and Thor has no helmet, light blonde eyebrows and looks exactly like from one of the 60s comics with regular blue pants and a simple black torso with dots. They got all necessary parts. Either LEGO knows that their IM3 sets were crap and now release movie-tie ins always a couple of months later like TDKR or Winter Soldier is a polybag or promotional figure. I mean really, that NinjaGo gets mouth masks this year that also fit the character is one thing but metallic arms, too? That must have been planned with Winter Soldier in mind. And even if it fails, we could still kitbash him thanks to the NinjaGo sets.- 9,756 replies

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Junior Spidey looks pathetic. The Green Goblin like from Spectacular Spider-Man or the game would have made much more sense. Venom isn´t that iconic a villain and even still available in the exact same form. This is just the inferior version of the Nick Fury set. Electro set looks a little less worse since he is at least a new fig. Would have been funnier if it actually were a regular tricycle instead of a giant bike thing. I hope the price of Electro alone isn´t that huge on Bricklink. Yellow Lighting would also be useful, already have a good amount of blue ones and yellow probably won´t have a better chance to appear other than here. The bank truck looks like one of the vehicles from the game. Maybe someone could make a screenshot of it? I hope Ock and Spidey have better costumes than in the first USM set from 2012. Driver could be useful if he has a new uniform. Truck itself looks a bit too 90s LEGO but the best set of the wave overall. Spidercopter looks and is stupid as expected. Not a fan of USMs Goblin or Power Man but I have to say the glider looks good. Spidey looks like he will stay the same but M.J. intrigues me since she kinda looks like the one from the game with the Spidey heart shirt. Would be nice to have if she isn´t too much on the aftermarket. Batcave doesn´t look like a good set (which was to be expected) and I already have Joker and Robin. Blue Batman would be nice to have, I hope he has an acceptable price or that the Junior sets make at least enough to warrant a sequel. Robin maybe has a new design but as long as it isn´t BTAS Dick or 60s which I don´t expect it looks like a pass. Penguin set looks passable. Not really satisfied with the duck, would have preferred a bigger duck for 2 people and scrapped the Waterbat thingie. Already sold my Arkham Penguin since I don´t like his design that much. Either this will be the same fig or a better design. Penguins look fine, all in all a great relation between value and cost but not the best set. Man-Bat is a crappy villain, already have enough helicopters and red Nightwing is just wrong. Beware-Man, 52 Flash and the racing Riddler are crappy characters too, only made crappier by the dragster and Bewaremobile. The gold details on Beware-Man look kinda nice. Don´t know if I should buy him alone or better wait for another set in the summer with him. Ah, what am I even talking about, New 52 Batman has the same costume with a better belt and the way it looks right now they are just trying to turn LEGO DC into New 52 anyway. That Batplane is huuuuuuuge. Should have been part of the title. Already expected nothing exciting since I own a City Bulldozer but it should have at least been a monster to plow over a small building but this is even smaller than the City vehicles. Even if I hadn´t already a comparable vehicle, I wouldn´t have bought this to modify it to a city fitting design. Batman could really use some sets without a vehicle. All other heroes are much better in that regard. Joker looks better than the regular design from 2012 but that´s not worth the set. Just hope it gets repeated somewhere else. Batgirl looks pretty good despite 52 lines but I don´t know. I much prefer the old comic designs over this and both my plans sound stupid: Either I get the fig alone and just make my own torso designs or I wait for the release of a comic-design. Only sure thing are Penguin and Ock out of this. I am much more hyped for the two Avengers sets and even then the Hulk set sounds less and less appealing. Probably no purple pants Hulk, Modok fig from the game looks wrong, the Comic-Thor in the game has no helmet and still too light blonde hair. What is even left over? Hood-dude and Falcon? Couldn´t care less for those. At least this wave feels better than last year. Technically Electros set could be from anything since he uses his classic outfit and Ock seems to be the 90s Spider-Man design (plus maybe a labcoat if they go with the ock fig from the game 1:1). God, I hope not. Are children even reading New 52? This pushing of the 52 designs like red Nightwing and "random lines Batgirl / Flash" is already bad enough but now even characters that people don´t even know? I hoped we could get at least the Superfriends or JLU characters and designs before having to resort to new films and shows. Would be nice if it is the on from the Con. Or just some other design than the USM costume. How much different is USM Season 2 Ock from the existing one? Heard something of an eyepatch. If that´s the case they could have just made the old USM Ock as a stand-in. I hope it will be the one from the game in this set. Still not sure if it would be a good idea to use the games arms instead of the click arms. On one hand he surely can´t balance on the game arms but they look so much better. Would have been nice to get as a variation in one of the three shown sets. All those Spider-Men are much worse than the Batmen. I am pretty sure the Copter is turning out to be more than 20 pounds. 30 or 35 for sure.- 9,756 replies

They could finally do this piece with two studs on the back. Would be useful to give characters wings because that requires two studs and sticking 1x2 plates on the pic-related pieces is too unstable. The Chima head is a bit too over designed and cartoony. I am pretty sure it doesn´t match any version of Man-Bat. Normally he is portrayed with no nose and a very flat face. Monster Fighters ear/hairpiece fits much better.- 9,756 replies

Please post a Gif or JPG, those videos are needlessly long and low quality resolution. Let alone, we already got enough pics of every angle during San-Diego. Still nearer to LEGOs black than green. Please don´t make the designers feel like they are in the right when this turns out to be another light blonde Thor, sand blue Boba Fett or dark brown Hoth Han Solo. Definitely. The new NinjaGo set pics revealed a bandanna piece that looks like it would fit a movie Winter Soldier perfectly and they even got metallic colored arms.- 9,756 replies

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
War Machine could always have been released as part of another Iron Man movie, Avengers movie (if he finally appears) or any of the cartoons. The War Machine armor LEGO did make didn´t even appear in the movie, WM should have been the exclusive fig if anybody. I don´t think 3 2x2 blocks count as a building toy, otherwise they would do that with Star Wars battlepacks, too. Disregarding the whole "If the bag has a different name beside the characters name it is a set and therefore doesn´t contain exclusive figs" thinking that doesn´t sound even remotely right seeing how only Brickset calls it Gun Mounting System and multiple sites call it Iron Patriot or "free exclusive LEGO minifig", Iron Patriot is only appearing in Iron Man 3 (or at least it looks like it) so that would be like giving out exclusive General Zod figures with Batman v.s. Superman. But it would be interesting to see in how far those preorder figs are exclusive since Lex Luthor Battle Armor from last year seems to have been made primarily with Lex in mind and using that piece only for a preorder fig and two CMFs seems stupid. -

Tigra. The Heli has two cockpit seats and I doubt they would let one of them go to waste with nobody in it. My second guess would be Power Man but since Sir Lego said it´s definitely a girl in the set I guess he would have been able to differentiate girly hair and no hair. Mask is identical with the Nolanman mold they use since March/April 2012. The fig is the same blue Batman as always just in regular blue like Spidey.- 9,756 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, comparing the two pics with each other the mistakes of the LEGO design are: Top of the helmet is too flat. The blinders are too blocky at the top when they should go slightly to the inside of the helmets face starting right below the eyes. The visor printing should be touching the angle of the snout, there is a big flat room instead. The snout should be wider. Angles should directly touch the blinders which is barely the case. On the back of the head the fat part should be the entire lower/middle part, instead it is a bit slimmer down at the neck. It should be more similar to the back of the LEGO Scout trooper helmet with the fat part going from neck to roughly eye height. The angles at the downside of the BARC helmet in the group pic look silly but I think it´s just bad camera placement. All in all, I hope all my complaints are due bad camera placement and crap printing (which seems to be standard looking at all those clones that have their grey cheek lines printed on the upper half rather than the lower half) but I don´t think it will be case with the blinders that look like they were designed blockier/simpler to be easier to cast out of molds. -

This is just a mess made out of rather contrived coincidences in hopes of creating a pattern. Like reading an article on the Spongebob Wiki. I don´t think LEGO is playing by some kind of weirdly complex system of rules. The one guy who said we would get Avengers and Spidey sets was right and also said we would get GL this year. That´s enough of a confirmation for me. Besides, I don´t think DC is okay with only 5 sets while Marvel has 6 plus an unknown number of X-Men and GOTG stuff AND presumably a D2C set. It looks like they are ditching the equality rule from the last two years but I think it will be more like 40% DC and 60% Marvel, not this extreme. A second DC wave in summer is pretty much confirmed. How big it will be and how it will look is another question but I would expect something that in some way ties in with the LEGO Movie. Not sets based directly on scenes from it but at least a chance to get a GL fig (even if it won´t be the San-Diego 2011 movie fig they use in it). Also, does Superheroes play by other rules in regards to set lifetimes or shouldn´t the first wave of Batman sets be discontinued by now? If they are going to discontinue them a new release for Comic Superman and Wonder Woman should be a necessary.- 9,756 replies

The full game has 150 slots of which ≈10 are supposed to be for custom characters. Alternate costumes of the same character also appear in the same slot (for example the 8 Iron Man suits and 2 Tonys are only one slot that changes its icon all the time like in the Harry Potter games) so there are probably ≈20 new characters left over. DLC characters like from the Prorder-DLC (Thanos, Beta Ray Bill) and regular DLC (Thor 2 packs 8 movie chars) get their own slots added to the list when you purchase them so they don´t count to the 150 slots of the full game.- 9,756 replies

That Hydra soldier is obviously based on the comics. Still think the green guy would be Falcon since he is confirmed to look like a regular soldier in a camo outfit with wings he can fold in if he wants to. Which means we will get him in dark green because lately LEGO is unable to pick the right colors for costumes like that. I think this has more to do with the contracts LEGO has with Marvel and DC. Maybe they want to keep the products on a somewhat low pricelevel like Hasbros actionfigures and the like because they have no idea how building toys actually work and sell. But maybe LEGO starts to treat Superheroes comparable to Star Wars. Star Wars never had sets more expensive than one for 70€ in their Winter waves. Generally 100+ sets are summer releases and I think TMNT gets so many higher priced sets because of the movie. Lone Ranger had it´s toyline released in April, 3 or 4 months before the actual movie came out, and had sets in the same price categories as TMNT right now. Probably has something to do with the film getting its release date pushed around several times and LEGO being unable to adjust production. It´s not like LEGO could do GOTG sets without the main cast. Gobby is confirmed for quite some time and Modok, Falcon, Elektro and Winter Soldier are assumed from the descriptions we´ve got. Already said this myself. The Spider-Copter in the game has a net launcher. Why would a game-only vehicle need a net launcher? I don´t think we will be able to either capture or beat up people in the game so it´s probably because the actual toy has a netlauncher and they don´t want to replace it with more flickfire missiles. The description of that Spidey set with a vehicle with two rotors on its sides and the price point of 35 - 50€ fits the model in the pic below. And Doc Ocks fig you talked about has green legs with only the front having white printing. If Ock were a game-only character they would have made the white of the labcoat around the whole leg part like how they did with Connors. Pic of Ocks fig in the game For the same reason I also think Electro from the game will be a toy since his legs are fully green when normally they would have boot and underpants printing. When he is identical with a comic design it is a comic-figure. Movies never translate the comic design 1:1 only partly or completely retooled.- 9,756 replies

Weird how the two Avengers sets are missing, I hope they don´t make those store exclusive. Should be a mask piece in every single costume variation. Especially as long as LEGO can´t even make Caps face look like regular flesh colored instead of this weird tan.- 9,756 replies

I think Electro will be in the 15€ set with the same design as in the LEGO game. His design is much less detailed with a fully green body, only torso printing. Electros regular costume always involves yellow boots and undies and if he were a game-only character he would get much more detailed legs like for example Curt Connors who has his legs black, purple and white all round while LEGO normally only prints the front part of the legs with Wonder Woman being the sole exception right now. It also seems like they are going to push Electro because of the ASM2 movie. The game apparently also has an alternate costume for Electro which I guess is based on the blue version. I think they are going to make a blue Electro available sometime later this year (Merchandise in time for the DVD release seems to get more common, even outside of the TDKR set). Also Sandman would be pretty boring on his own, he would need to be in a set with some more additional tan parts, have his own little scenery. Just throwing a dude with tan pants and a striped shirt in with Spider-Man and his tricycle sounds and looks like a joke and not something to really play with.- 9,756 replies

You are mixing up Modok and Armin Zolas robot body thing. And besides, I don´t think Thor and Hulk are getting a fight scene in Captain America 2. Price List in Euro for those who don´t want to do math. 15 - Elektro 20/27 - Doc Ock 20/27 - Captain America 45 - Spider-copter 60 - Hulk and Thor v.s. Modok 15 - Penguin 20/27 - Man-Bat / Sharks 35 - Flash and Batmobile 60 - Steamroller Sounds fair for now but depends on the final designs.- 9,756 replies

Ähem... Those prices normally have nothing to do with dollar prices, don´t know why it says so in the post but you could find out US or other local prices from comparing the prices of current sets on S@H. Battlepacks are the same as ever and comparing everything else it stays pretty much the same except that ≈25€ sets are now completely gone/raised to 30 and the Chibi sets are a third lower than Planets sets. -

As far as I remember the Hulk in the cartoon show has tan pants like Movie Hulk, but even if they are making him a variation, it´s the fault of the people that bought the carrier set that they just couldn´t wait for a better set/fig design. Or did anybody really believe LEGO wouldn´t release one of the main characters of one of the most grossing movies a second time?- 9,756 replies

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion

It´s still weird to see Al Quaida and suicide in those films and in Germany Iron Man 1 and both Hulk films are rated 16+ but those films are what kids think about when they mention characters like Iron Man. The mainline comics are generally the same as movies or even edgier than the films and the cartoons are either depending too much on the movies image and have no identity of their own or are cancelled too early to get a decent following. If this years Spideys are again the same as the USM one we got three times already it´s a problem. Spidey isn´t really the costume variation guy like Iron Man but doesn´t the USM show use a bunch of alt costumes? I always see yellow/red Iron Spider actionfigures in toy aisles so I think there have to be some more appearances like that in the show. If not and if there aren´t ASM2 sets planned (could see them released as exclusives or in a different wave but don´t have much hope now) they really should have put ASM Spidey in a random set with USM/comic style villains. Bugle set Dooms head isn´t really what I would call a good design so I would like a new variation but it would be weird of them to do it just a year later, waiting until the set is out of production seems more logical. Doing Avengers Assemble sets makes sense. It makes it possible to put more than one of the movie heroes into a set, even in their movie costumes (or at least very similar ones), while not having to keep exclusively to sidecharacters and villains from the current movies which really don´t lend themselves good to playing fights. Completely ignoring the movies would still be wrong but the movies aren´t really good motives for sets. They have an unfitting story that doesn´t lend itself good to play sets (Cap2 is described as a political thriller ala Jason Bourne, Iron Man 3 is all over the place with buddy cop movie being probably the easiest choice) and the few sets we get have nearly nothing in common with the movies. A small set for each film with the principal cast in their current costume should be possible. One of the sets sounds like it´s WInter Soldier v.s. Falcon and Cap so that one doesn´t have a big problem but Thor 2 being absent feels weird. The new film is a bit dark and Thor 1s toyline was the weakest of all Marvel films but compared to IM3 and Cap2 it would lend itself the best for a line of its own with soldiers, knights and that big rock guy. Wouldn´t think so, a Black Manta set would require Aquaman and he is still available. Hulk set sounds like a definite buy. Modok and Hulk are pretty useful, Thor could come with his helmet and hood guy as Red Skull/Doom/Malekith is useful or sellable either way. Cap set is hopefully based on the new film. Falcon/soldier and Cap v.s. Winter Soldier and an army vehicle sounds like a buy too. Flying vehicle is probably the Spidercopter from the LEGO game. http://www.fbtb.net/...1jpg-883be4.jpg That thing doesn´t look like it´s designed solely for the game, otherwise they probably would have put flick fire missiles on both sides and not two flicks on the left and a net launching thingie on the right. Other people are probably White Tiger and Big Goblin. Sounds decent but not exactly a USM fan. Ock set sounds interesting. Really hope it´s the Doc Ock from the game. Always found it weird to see classic Ock with a labcoat in the game trailerswhen the USM one would be a more obvious choice being in a show and having his own fig already. The arms would be hard to move but otehrwise he looks like from a set. The way his legs are completely green save for the white stripes in the front, this is the way LEGO would actually do the fig. Normally figs with labcoats in the games have their legs fully white safe for the parts where the real pants are showing, like for example the LEGO Marvel game Dr. Connors. Car sounds nice if it is more like Nick Furys car and not like a useless dotted prop like Metropolis Showdown. Other guy is probably Power Man so people can have the whole set of USM heroes. Well, everybody is green and yellow in Spider-Man. Hope for somebody funny and useful but that fits nearly everybody. Mysterio, Vulture, Elektro, Sandman. I think I tend more to Elektro. Okay. So it´s Batman, Batgirl and Robin v.s. Joker and Scarecrow/some dude. It didn´t sound appealing then and doesn´t sound appealing now. Maybe the Joker vehicle has a nice design but then again it is apparently a steamroller and looks like a truck at the same time. If it were the Slaughter truck from TDK I would have bought it Day One. Joker looks like he has a decent suit finally and Batgirl is nice but Joker gets repeated at some point again anyway and they probably won´t waste Batgirl for a single set. Riddler set isn´t that bad anymore but I think I am going to take a chance and wait until they release a better (i.e. no New 52) Flash. Sounds strange, wasn´t that Man-Bat? And who is even water themed anymore in Batman? Killer Croc? Probably a pass either way. Already get Penguin in Arkham Breakout, don´t expect a costume change here. Wow, not a single Batman set that is appealing right of the bat. Will probably depend on the final vehicle designs and if I can get some good discounts, otherwise it means Bricklink for the Beware-Man costume if it is exclusive to these four sets. Not euphoric right now. It´s an improvement from the other two years but still not right. Let out your anger. This really is a stupid situation. Making a line for a movie that has nearly nothing worth to base toys on and then skipping the movie that lend itself better to multiple sets. This schizophrenic set design and wave assortment is worth criticising and if you can´t do it on the internet on a LEGO forum where else? In a conversation with your girlfriend?- 9,756 replies

I would say IM2 sets are a possibility when they are expanding the line into 20 sets a year like Star Wars, the way they currently are there is barely any room for the current projects already. A single villain against 7 or so heroes seems rather unfair and uneven. I hope so. The way it currently sounds those Junior sets are the newest version of Magnet figs, Planets sets and Battlepacks. I expect at least some variation in the Juniors figs since it otherwise just would mean to wait for figs to appear in the Junior line to get them cheaper and without useless/crappy parts packs. Had I known they are doing that Batcave set I wouldn´t have bought Jokers Funhouse. Juggernaut would need new molds and you can´t have that in a D2C. He has a neck piece for his fur and different claw pieces in his hands but I guess they could do him without. The Deadpool set had a helicopter that was vaguely influenced from Origins so yeah, some film influence can be there. Now that´s a relief. Looks like 3 of the 4 new sets have a new hero beside Batman so we get at least some variety. Somewhat weirded out that they use New 52s costume designs. Should have been the classic designs like last and this year.- 9,756 replies

The drawings in the catalogue look the same as ever and show all the new/updated figs with their presumably final design. The guards also come with the black hands so we don´t even get the good version but the no-effort one since LEGO apparently is unwilling to do more than 5 different hand colors outside of CMFs anymore. I wanted a change from Stormtroopers too but in the form of officers and Death Star Troopers, those are in a much greater need of a BP than Gunners and Royal Guards. -

Talking about a D2C Stark Tower. Talking about it like it won´t be like Orthanc just a little smaller. But what would Stark Tower even include? Except Coulson and older armors there aren´t many new figs they could put in while staying movie based and the Avengers cartoon is probably off limits since other D2C sets were all for themes that weren´t overtly aimed only at children. The announcement mentioning multiple X-Men sets really makes me think that D2C X-Mansion isn´t set in stone. If they don´t take the Fox license (which I hope for since their movies have terrible designs, especially for a childrens toy) multiple comic based sets are the way to go and would need a multitude of new molds for pretty much every villain and D2C sets can´t get new molds without them getting reused in a normal set within a month apparently. I would expect the Helicarrier to be a regular set if they finally get to do 100+ sets for regular stores. Could incorporate many functions and would be good for a 2015/Avengers 2 release as a... flagship. On the other hand making it D2C could do wonders for the size but then you run into the same problems of getting some good exclusive figs within the movie line. Only getting Hill, Fury and Coulson would be a downer.- 9,756 replies

Yes. Seeing how Deathstroke was also important in Young Justice you have a much better case with him than any other GA villain. But I am basing this also partly on me having no idea who GAs villains are. The show is Gotham Central with police officers being main characters but it is a very unstable rumor at the moment and if they don´t do Agent of Shield sets I don´t expect Gotham Central sets or even any influence from GC over new sets since LEGO seems content with releasing the same 10 villains over and over again. ASM Spider-Man from the same batch of exclusives would have more problems getting in a set, at lest they could give Arrow a redesign with his fine beard and hat if they care at all. Right now Green Arrow is in a much better position in the public than all others. He was a main character in Brave and the Bold, Smallville, JL Unlimited and Arrow, that is more publicity than Superman had and much less than Flash and Wonder Woman. But expecting them to include a villain for GA is a little too much. Wondy and Aquaman were damsels and Flash seems to have something against Riddler for no reason. Would be surprising if they include one and interesting IMO since I know not a single villain from his gallery. A Ice Slider vehicle thingie is a water based vehicle? I wouldn´t say there is any theme behind the placement of the JL figs and regardless if it is Green Arrow or Lantern both sound pretty silly for a steamroller. But then again, Joker with a hat, Batman and New52 Nightwing that are all possible to be included in it sound unfitting.- 9,756 replies

Well, I guess it´s nothing then. Depending on how well versed the guy or his informant is the sets could very well be Avengers Assemble based. But it seems odd that they would do sets only based on ASM and the cartoons and ignoring Cap 2 and Thor 2. Those films are getting a bit darker but they aren´t much more unfitting than Iron Man 3. Adding the utter lack of a second DC wave / having a ratio of 4 DC sets to at least 9 Marvel sets I certainly call doubt on the truth of this site or at least the authors/informants ability to comprehend toy catalogues. 1. USM Gobby is part of the main game. Why does everybody think every single character they have shown in that Gamespot video is DLC exclusive? 2. Is there really only one character pack? LEGO Batman 2 had two and seeing how ever more games get DLC I really expect them to use DLCs to push that character list to 200.- 9,756 replies

But that´s the thing, they can´t just put everybody in sets. The CMF line could be used for some minor costume variations of main heroes (Iron Man suits before the triangular chest piece, Comic/60s Versions of Thor and Captain America) and b-list characters that wouldn´t be enough to carry a set with their name only but could proof interesting to children for their designs/costumes (Booster Gold, Beta Ray Bill, 100 characters from the LEGO Marvel game). Specific to your example they would only release USM Doc Ock (already done) and an Amazing Spider-Man Ock (if he appears in one of the films) but the comics Doc Ock with a green/yellow armor or a labcoat like in the trailers for the Marvel LEGO game would be perfect for the CMF line. New 52 Flash would be for a set but variations like Flashs sidekicks, Golden Age Flash and Zoom will never appear in a set unless they will have a big role in some upcoming movie or show (which won´t be for the near future) and when the set with Flash is out of circulation they could do a costume variation of him like DCAU Flash, then he wouldn´t conflict with the bigger purchase anymore. Hey, the golf cart was the best thing about this years line. Overlapping seems like a fine idea too. CMF Spidey could have his red stripe on the arm and some boots. But this would make the pool of characters that make people buy the sets smaller. But on the other hand, Spidey and Batman are people that are already in enough sets that they wouldn´t be an argument to buy a set anyway.- 9,756 replies

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don´t really believe this site since the San-Diego figs are way more lazily designed than regular CMFs (Black Suit Spidey is just Venom with a new head and Spider-Womans body seems more in line with the way LEGO designed figs in 2002) but regardless of LEGOs old plans it looks like Hero CMFs would be a good AND realistic idea. LEGO has way too many characters on their hands and can´t release them all in sets, and releasing them would be profitable. If comic nerds already buy countless Hasbro actionfigures for 20$ a piece what would keep them from minifigs for 3 or 4$? Let alone that Megablocks did it already when they had the license, so there can´t be that much legal mumbo jumbo than with LEGO Star Wars where it is explicitly forbidden: http://www.toywiz.com/marvelmegablokpacks3.html- 9,756 replies

Who cares, it will be renewed anyway. You guys are becoming as worse as the people in the Star Wars thread. "Oh, LEGO has continuos success with this line for over a decade, I should worry about them considering continuing their contracts. Please don´t take away my ability to give you money!" Superheroes is new but seriously?- 9,756 replies
