MIDI-Scale Invisible Hand and Venator
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to Kristof's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I feel like my phone stabbed me in the back by not notifying me when the instructions released. SUPER excited to build this, I'll have to dig out the pieces I have already.- 181 replies

As Krennic once said... Oh, it's beautiful... Memes aside, looks fantastic! Do you have an estimation of when the instructions will be done? Super excited to build this.- 181 replies

C-9979 Landing Craft
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to Iperial_Fleet_Commander's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's more tan in Episode 1, but I had more brown than tan, and the lego tan is too light for my liking. -
C-9979 Landing Craft
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to Iperial_Fleet_Commander's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you! I might round the wings, but this was just built with pieces I already had. And I tried the 1x1 under it, but it poked up too much for my liking. Yeah, the AATs are technically too big, but I wanted to represent them here. And when I eventually order pieces, I'll probably get some old brown pieces to mix in with the reddish brown. -
Link to Flickr album I built a small C-9979 landing craft to display with the upcoming Venator from KrisandKris12. It's about 17.5 studs wide and 10 studs long. The doors open, and the turrets can move. I plan to replace some pieces with better colors, (namely the bracket and hinges on the doors) but for now its good enough. Enjoy!

MIDI-Scale Invisible Hand and Venator

Is that the side hangar bay? Those new wedges work really well. maybe a minimum of like $5? A lack of a stand won't bother me, I already have about 20% of my Kashyyyk Moc built that I'm gonna use as a stand for this. It's on a 64x64 base, and I'm trying to make it as accurate as possible, but in this scale, I had to make some things bigger than they should be. [MOC] First Order Xi-Class Light Shuttle
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to Kozikyo86's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks good. I frankly don't remember seeing it though. Been a while since I watched 8, I was marathoning the whole series with TV shows, and then CW season 7 was announced, so I've definitely been watching more prequel era content. Any reference photos? -
Could we see it? I can't imagine what it would look like in this scale.

from a panel a few years back, the new arc will have Anakin and Obi-Wan called away to Corusant because the Chancellor has been kidnapped, so it would be like the Rouge One --> A New Hope transition. a difference of minutes between CW and ROTS

[INSTRUCTIONS] Executor class Star Dreadnought
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to onecase's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Maybe someday I'll have both the money and the space to get this, but for now, i think just looking at it will have to do. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are insanely good at making Star Destroyers. I'd love to see you tackle a Victory-Class or even a Venator-Class (both in grey of course, have to fit in the Imperial theme.)- 127 replies

[moc] AT-DT - in progress
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I do like the look of this walker. I'm not very historically versed, but it looks like one of the Brickmania cannons on AT-ST legs. Very cool. But yeah, you did a good job of capturing the look. -
[MOC] Microscale Death Star II Hanger and Trench

Love the extra little detail of the guy looking over the hangar. -
Looks great! Not sure if this was intentional, but it looks like the same size as the microfighters line.

[MOC] MG-100 Bomber (1:250 Scale)
Iperial_Fleet_Commander replied to AfolFree's topic in LEGO Star Wars
For the double turrets do you think you could turn the stud with the ball joint upside down and use these instead? for the canopy, and for the turret. Would that work? I don't have that piece so I can't test it. -
Glad to see some more "Base-like" MOCs. Mostly people just do vehicles. Nice job!

Sorry to revive an old post, but I can't for the life of me figure out how the doors and the windshield/windows are attached! When I figure out how to attach the doors, the windows are off by 1/2 a stud, when I work out a way to fix that, the doors are off 1/2 stud, and fixing that leads me right back to my first problem! This has been bugging me in the back of my mind for weeks now. Any help would be appreciated. Even if it's just removing one side of the car, to get a better look at the inside of the other side.

have you tried part 6259? its pretty sturdy and has some room on the inside for extra support.
