WIP Tesla S 100P

Exactly what I was thinking! How are you ging to accomplish that? People have difficulty powering two, let alone THREE TIMES that number! -

[AMS-1] Crawlify Your Set

You can pick any set produced by TLG, doesn't have to be a technic set. The modifications can go as far as you want, but try to kee the porportions/bodywork recognizable. A MOD is whatever you want it to be. You take it where your brain goes. To enter, you need to PM me two photos, a video, and a small text about the model. Fairly simple. As for 42025, it would be pretty cool to see that "crawlified". its not every day you see an airplane with HUGE wheels under it. To crawlify a MOC, we're going mostly for offroad performance, so, as you stated, modifying 42005 while trying to keep it just motorized still counts, but it all depends on the voters. Whatever works man, looks really good! -
[AMS-1] Crawlify Your Set

After five days, I return. Thank you @Aventador2004 for maintaining the topic during my absence. I am available to answer any other questions that may arise. Yes, send me your earlier entry formally, and I'll post it. Wow! Glad to see the progress! Though I was expecting a 42056 entry, this is just so BADASS! -

No rainbow loom, just Lego. The rules clearly state no third-party parts are allowed. -

As long as they're Lego rubber bands. -

Great! There is no scale limit. You could put the body on 42047 on the chassis of a HUGE truck. If the foam you put in the wheels is sold by TLG, go right on ahead. Otherwise, no, you can't. -
[AMS-1] Crawlify Your Set

Yes, but the vast majority of the users own a IR receiver. That statement is not true for Buwizz and/or Sbrick. -

You may use any parts from your collection. The deadline is June 1st. No problem! I enjoy organizing. Great! -
Welcome to the (hopefully) first Annual Motorized Set contest, where this year's theme is Crawlers. A few questions that will inevitably arise: What is AMS? AMS is a contest where any Eurobricks member may take any released lego set, and modify it to meet the year's challenge. What is this topic for? This topic is for discussion, WIP photos, and questions on the rules. What is this year's theme? This year's theme is trial trucks/rock crawlers. How do I enter? Entering the contest is easy. You send me, in PMs, two pictures and a video of the final design, along with a small blurb that describes your design, and I will post it in this reply. That way, voting is more organized. How long do I have? The deadline is June 1st, exactly one month from now. How do I win? To determine the winner, the topic will be edited to add a poll with the name of each contestant. What do I win? The sole prize is bragging rights. No prize will be sent out to the winner. What will I be voted on? You will be voted on maintenance of the original functions of the model, the off-road capabilities, and originality. The base rule for AMS: No third-party parts. We would like to equalize the field, and allow more people to have a fighting chance. Does that include Buwizz and Sbrick? Yes, it does. The majority of builders own at least one IR receiver. The Sbricks and Buwizz don't have that kind of user base. What parts can I use? You can use any parts from your collection, as long as they comply with the previous statement. Good building! Let's Build!

reducing noise xl motors
letsbuild replied to itoero's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Mine does the same, maybe it's just something you should leave alone. -
I wish I knew that, I would have used it. Instead, I built it the way I thought it would fit.

I reverse-engineered your Pagani. I was missing the black piece right behind the windshield, so I replaced it by a red one. It looks realy nice!

letsbuild replied to StangMan302's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So, your model shouldn't be here, in the Town Forum. It should be in the Model Team Forum. Otherwise, nothing is wrong, I just can't find any pictures of the real car. -

Please add [WIP] to the title of this topic. I thought it a completed model. -

It looks really good. My only complaint is that the rear axle seems to have a lot of flex. Is that purposeful?
