  1. We've already had one microscale set this year, so another one is absolutely unlikely.
  2. Wow, this actually looks amazing. The house is really great. I love the sudebuild and Marge-balloon. Minifigures look great, and Ripper is a great addition.
  3. Damn, I really wanted to get this set. I think it looks really good, except for some minor complaints. The minifigures are great, and the main build is super nice. I don't like that there are a million random sidebuilds though—I like when bigger sets are more compact and displayable as a whole. Unfortunately, the price is unacceptable. It comes as such a surprise because the previous two sets were really well priced. Why they changed their system for this one is beyond me.
  4. I am frankly quite mixed on those sets, which rarely happens with Ninjago. The 4+ set is, well... a 4+ set. The January one was so much nicer, although it's understandable since it was a location rather than a car race. Still, I wonder what's with Jay here—he doesn't have his Rogue suit one. Did they give him a new print just for this set? Rontu is a good set, but frankly a poor depiction of her appearance in the series. The wings are too big, the horns are too small, the neck is too short. The shrine is ridiculously small. Still, the minifigure selection is awesome—I always get a set with Sora in every wave, and I am so glad she has a new suit. Zarkt and Lloyd are awesome too, and I am glad Wyldfyre is appearing in more sets (even though I just got this variant of her in Zane's mech). Jay's dragon and mech is kind of messy because of too many colours, but I admire the concept. The dragon by itself is fantastic—rarely do we get white ones; the yellow and dark blue details really make it work. The minifigures are good too, but for that price I'd expect more. Never noticed that Rox has mid legs. The Combat Vehicle is really nice, but because of its colour scheme it looks like just another Kai vehicle. Really wish they've chosen a different one. Good minifigures—Frak is definitely the big draw of this set. Now there's two more things I need to mention—the first are the prices. All of those sets are overpriced, which rarely is the case with Ninjago. Especially if we look at the piece count, it doesn't even compare to sets from the past year and before. The other are the Spectral Dragonians—they look absolutely awful. I don't remember a villain faction in Ninjago looking this bad and messy, maybe ever. The colour scheme is hideous—mint blue, trans-blue, dark blue, red, gunmetal grey. What a disaster; two colours too many.
  5. The sets are mostly fine, but I genuinely couldn't not care less about any of them. Plo Koon's microfighter is actually one of the best ones we've ever got. The price, of course, is awful. Frankly, it doesn't have much more value than regular polybags—even more so, some of them have two minifigures for thrice as little. Paying 15€ for this feels like a scam. Maul's mech is... okay, I guess? I truly don't care for it. It being a shirtless variant without a corresponding Maul minifigure doesn't make any sense though, no idea what they were thinking here. The battle pack is, uh... cute. Haven't seen Ahsoka so I don't really know how appealing it is. It feels like a 10€ set, frankly. Doubling it makes me wonder if those sets are truly made only for hardcore Star Wars fans who couldn't care less how much they spend on there gadgets and gizmos. I really like the other battle pack, but I've seen a lot of negative responses towards it here. No idea why that is, but I enjoy the walker's colour scheme (I love yellow—not a lot of people do). The terrain is an amazing addition, I really love how it looks. Of course, this nice 25€ set is hurt by being 40€. Saying all of that, I still don't care for any of those sets. The prices are awful, and they seem very army-building focused.
  6. Of course I do. Even more so I want a TIE Defender. I already know this scene will be one of the best Star Wars action sequences. But the real question is... why is my wife crying in the new trailer? Who did this?! I will hunt them down!
  7. No. LEGO barely ever makes sets for video games, yet alone ones that are parts of their existing themes.
  8. *insert Punisher nonononono meme here* Frankly, I'd say I was joking, but at this point I really wasn't. It's not a bad choice for a lromo or anything tbh, but I can't really take LEGO Star Wars seriously anymore.
  9. You know, when it comes to turtle (now known as imposter) it's usually best not to engage him when he's producing his nonsense, ragebait takes. Forgot about that rule before, but we can frankly move on to discuss... well, anything else.
  10. A Hogsmeade D2C actually sounds quite fantastic. Really hope that news is true, even if I won't buy the set.
  11. Because I like Star Wars, DC, Marvel, and Jurassic World? Ridiculous question. No it hasn't.
  12. This. It wouldn't be such a huge deal if, say, the Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus set was $100 in the first place and then they increased it to $110. Fair enough, still a good deal—but if they increase a ridiculous price of $150 to an even more ridiculous price of $160, then it's a much bigger deal, because we're straying further and further away from fair prices.
  13. He's literally the Joker—gets thrown into Arkham Asylum, only to return a few issues later. This time it's his Iranian ambassador arc.
  14. What are you even talking about. That's just utter nonsense.
  15. ??? It's not a good thing from any possible angle—whether you love the sets or hate them, whether you plan on getting them day one, with a discount, or never.
  16. You can't post links for leaks, but that's about it. All else is free game.
  17. June 1st. All of them. (They could release on August 1st in some territories though, like the US.)
  18. Some of the June sets have already leaked—Lloyd's Jet Mech and the new Destiny's Bounty, but also the two sets based on the new series titled Ninjago Legends, Fire Knight Mech and the Guardian Dragon
  19. I'm only buying the Mosasaurus set—for obvious reasons, as I am the biggest buildable dinosaurs fan on this forum.
  20. Frankly, I thought this was going the first Icons LotR sets I would buy... but my interest has immediately disappeared, completely. Rivendell: 6167 pcs for 500€ Barad-dûr: 5471 pcs for 460€ The Shire: 2017 pcs for 270€ I'm not that big of a PPP ratio guy as I was before, but this is simply ridiculous. How has the value decreased so much with yearly sets?
  21. Oh... the Shire is 270€. https://www.instagram.com/maxbautde/p/DG8AjL-IP-U/
  22. I am actually quite surprised that that's their choice for a GWP. Really dark scene, but that's not to say I don't love this choice! Definitely unexpected though. I like how it's connected to the set itself. Ah yeah, that makes sense. I really need to rewatch the movies / reread the books. I really hope they have alternate hairpieces though.
  23. Wow, once again Icons has outdid itself with yet another The Lord of the Rings set. The main builds is fantastic with all the little hills and greenery. All the details look incredible, especially the front door (and, well, the whole front area). Love seeing Gandalf’s cart, since it's one of the only old LotR sets I still own. I like the addition of the birthday party scenery, but honestly it feels kind of empty and I could've done without it, fully focusing instead on the main build. I can see Merry, but where's Pippin though? I hope they don't skip him for whatever reasons. Adding a Nazgûl would've been really cool too, but oh well.
  24. Rebellions are built on hope. Unfortunately, my wife hates rebellions. Consequently, I have given up hoping for anything. Hope you understand.
