  1. It's actually really funny that DC still has those activity books, while Marvel never even got them. Well, at least we're getting more LEGO Superman I guess? I'm desperate enough to buy it. I really hope so. DC is truly going all out, and I hope we'll start getting anything for the DCU next year... or even anything beyond Batman, more regularly that is.
  2. By the way, didn't see anyone mention this here: it turns out there's one more Jurassic World set coming out this year. 76974, 60€
  3. But to be fair, does anyone really want Spider-Werewolf? I mean, I genuinely can't imagine anyone wanting such an obscure, barely-existent-on-screen variant of Spidey over, I don't know... literally any other character.
  4. Right? I've been waiting for quite some time to see if it'll fit into my LEGO budget for this year, but most Icons sets still don't have any prices for this year, even though we know the piece counts. The previous two sets have had really good PPP ratio though, so I don't think it'll be anything above 200€.
  5. I'm not sure how legit the Spider-Verse CMF list is, seeing how none of the reliable leakers have reported about it, but it sounds like a really good mix of main characters, side characters, and random variant cameos. No, it's this variant. She was surprisingly prominent in this movie's merchandise. https://intothespiderverse.fandom.com/wiki/Cyborg_Spider-Woman_(Petra)_(Earth-Unknown) Fateful has said that this one's fake. Also, no D2C or Advent Calendar for this year (but I'm fairly sure that's been known for some time).
  6. Fateful has said on Discord that he believes the rumoured U-Wing minifigure list (Andor, K-2SO, Dedra and two Stormtroopers) is legit. If so, bummer that for some reason it's Stormtroopers instead of Death Troopers... ...but who cares! DEDRA, MY BELOVED!
  7. Okay this is either Mr. Turtle himself, or his just-as-crazy twin, Mr. Tortoise.
  8. To be fair they sometimes include alternate heads / hairpieces without ever showing them—a notable example being the No Way Home set with three Spider-Men.
  9. To be fair, the whole point of finding fossils is to know how those creatures looked like, so it's understandable they'd show the living T. Rex instead of a skeleton.
  10. Yeah, that looks quite great. Lovely set.
  11. He thought coming back for a third time to DC would be too hard of a target. He had to change course, rethink his plans. That's when he set his sails on a new topic, with a new identity. A fresh start for a madman.
  12. Hoping we don't reach the stages after that though...
  13. Random thought, but his manner of speaking reminds me of a certain turtle. Like, no. A dinosaur appearing in a movie (and by the way—the whole plot hinges on getting three DNA samples, one of which is from that very same dinosaur) is not a spoiler, especially since it's been revealed officially.
  14. Sets for movies always come out before them. It's not a spoiler. They were in the trailer—and even if they weren't, they are just dinosaurs. Doesn't fit the meaning of the word "spoiler".
  15. A movie. The rest are in production hell and none of them are safe, just as countless other cancelled Star Wars movies.
  16. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I love it.
  17. Wouldn't the exact same words be true for Marvel though?
  18. Yeah, the D&D series has like twenty completely new moulds. CMFs get an insane amount of moulds, dual-mouldings, prints, and recolours.
  19. I sure hope not. I really want him to actually be a good guy; the last thing this franchise needs is yet another generic villain who just wants dino DNA.
  20. Ooh, really cool to hear Dedra-specific rumours. Yeah, I'd be down for more tactical gear. Anyway, I don't really care what outift she has, I just need her in a set—but that reaffirms my hopes.
  21. He did not have to be there—that's what recasts are for. But that argument aside, I don't really see why Hammond would come back, one way or another.
  22. You're gonna be disappointed then. Source: the first Endgame wave, which is—to this day—probably the worst wave this theme has ever got.
  23. The only movies I like out of all the ones you've mentioned are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Multiverse of Madness. And don't get me wrong—I don't think the quality of the movies itself decreased. The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, The Dark World, Ant-Man and the Wasp are just as mediocre (in my opinion, obviously) as Black Widow, Love and Thunder, Wakanda Forever and No Way Home. There are very few MCU movies I'd call outright bad though. I never said that MCU never had any misses, but the problem is that they've extremely quickly oversatured the market after The Infinity Saga. Before it, even if someone movies are not to my liking, I remember all of them in order, chronologically or release by month, how excited I was, and how it felt like it was actually building towards something. The problem right now is that we're getting a ton of movies and series that disappear from one's mind as quickly as they appear. Instead of three movies per year we've been getting that plus twice as many series, without it actually leading to anything. And I'm not saying that focusing less on the shared universe aspect is inherently bad—the opposite actually, which is why I'm so excited for Gunn's DCU. The problem is that they're trying to create the next big event (Kang, Doom) relying purely on nostalgia, without setting any blocks in places to support it and make people excited for it. My point being, the first three phases were really well planned out and even if a movie was just okay or pretty bad, it still lingered in your mind. Now, a project of the same quality is magically forgotten because you're immediately onto the next one. When will Shang-Chi appear next? Moon Knight? She-Hulk? Eternals? Kate Bishop? Ms. Marvel? Thor? Hulk? No one knows. How can one get attached to a character if they come and go without any news of its next installment, or even an appearance? Which leads me back to Thunderbolts*—not only is the whole cast and crew behind it extremely promising, which makes me think it will be a very good movie by itself, but it also feels like the only movie naturally connected to the wider MCU since, granted, The Marvels, but before that... Endgame, actually. Probably what I've written is less coherent than I hope it'd be, but TLDR; in my opinion, post-Endgame movies aren't inherently worse in quality (although they've had a few more misses), but the way they're building the universe is awful, and not only doesn't it make me excited for most upcoming projects (with exceptions like Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic Four, Wonder Man, and Vision Quest), but the universe aspect a whole with ridiculously horrible ideas such as the next Avengers movies, or awful messes like Blade.
  24. How to Train Your Dragon didn't even get a trailer yet (only a teaser trailer some time ago), it's releasing on Wednesday—as mentioned in the spot. Thunderbolts* had like two, three new shots max. My point is, it doesn't really make sense to expect a fully new TV spot when they've literally released the trailer a week ago specifically for this occasion. But we're getting really off-topic, so I'll finish that here.
