  1. Well, I'm glad we're at least getting something. Thankfully no 4+ sets, and they all seem decently sized. I really wonder if we'll get something actually interesting for once. I wouldn't even mind regular comicbook Batman sets, provided they give us some jumpsuit villains from Arkham, like Croc or Bane. Of course, I'd love to get Superman or Wonder Woman, but that's a tall order.
  2. I assume the busts are gonna look like the new Marvel ones—smaller in size and with minifigures included. Wonder what that means for the helmets (not that I care though). The new Death Star looks really good. It's basically an enormous diorama that's also a clean section of the Death Star itself. There's one tiny problem though—it absolutely does not look like a 1000€ set, and I genuinely have no idea why anyone would pay this much for a set like this.
  3. To be fair LEGO usually goes all out on Spider-Man, so I'm confident that at least this minifigure will look amazing/spectacular/astonishing.
  4. August 3rd, at the earliest.
  5. Kinda excited to see what they'll do with the Brand New Day sets. Spider-Man will hopefully look glorious in his new suit. Punisher and Hulk can probably appear in a bigger set. Scorpion would be great to get, it's been so long since the last one. Also, I wonder if Sadie Sink is playing a character that will make it into the sets...
  6. Does it even matter? We haven't had an MBS set since 2020, and I don't think LEGO even advertises those sets as such anymore. It's just another big Star Wars set for them. Jabba's Sail Barge had like 11 characters, so they obviously aren't tied to 2 characters per UCS set.
  7. According to maxbautde, the measurements of the Death Star are: 70 cm (H), 79 cm (L), 27 cm (W). It's not a complete sphere. So... yeah. Lacklustre minifigures and half a Death Star for $1000.
  8. You know that multiple movies can be successful, right? We all knew the dinosaurs would win in the end, but both Superman and Fantastic Four are doing great numbers overall. F4 is estimated to open with $125M domestically—same as Superman (although it might do a bit better internationally, even though it's doing even worse in Asia than Superman). Hard to say anything without knowing next week's numbers, to see the drops for F4, and how well Superman does afterwards.
  9. How long until someone modifies the Arkham Asylum D2C into the Eurobricks Aslume? I hope someone here had a similar idea and is patiently waiting until September.
  10. The WALL•E set is simply incredible. I did not expect it to look this good. They all look perfect, and the details are super well done. It feels complete with all the accessories like the boot and a trash cube, and M-O is such a nice, unexpected addition.
  11. Oh, the new one absolutely clears all previous Arkham Asylums—TLBM one too. Obviously, it has the advantage of being a modular build, but still... it feels like a complete masterpiece, and not just a facade which you could vastly expand upon. The gate is amazing, I love the fence, and the guard tower really adds to the atmosphere. And we're still yet to see the interior! I'd wager it will contain so many awesome easter eggs and little details.
  12. Kind of wish they gave Harley Quinn a more Harlequin-like look. I miss the jester headpiece, and I don't think the hair looks nearly as good. A lot of the villains give me classic LEGO Batman video game vibes though—Penguin, Killer Croc, Riddler and Bane especially.
  13. Man, it actually looks amazing. Who would've thought we'd get such an incredible DC sets after all those failures. The minifigures are awesome. I absolutely did not expect them to go all out on Poison Ivy—she is marvellous! The faceprints for the inmates are all well done. The build itself is fantastic. It looks like a complete display piece, and the inverted corner idea was very well executed. The truck is a nice addition. Overall, I'm very happy with this set. So much, I might have to get it one day.
  14. Riddler and Catwoman look amazing. I feel like I will actually buy Arkham... I very rarely buy 100€+ sets, I only have a few, but I think I won't be able to refrain myself from buying this one. And if we actually get a Daily Planet D2C next year... lord help me.
  15. Another day, another "David Corenswet asking for LEGO Superman" video:
  16. No DC sets in January?! It's getting so much worse. Is this theme actually dead?
  17. A 10€ Ghost Rider bike sounds cool, so there's that. The rest is same old boring, Spider-Man stuff with mechs and cars. Wonder if Spider-Man 2099 will use some of the CMF prints, or if they'll make a new one for this set. Venomized Wolverine is ridiculous.
  18. That's a first for leaked LEGO descriptions, but I like how it looks— especially that it's higher rather than wider, and the gate is also there. Overall, I'm really hyped for this set. We'll probably see it sooner rather than later.
  19. Except I'm pretty sure it isn't. The movie's coming out in May, so looking at previous Disney schedules for May releases, we are not getting those sets until April. The January sets are just appetisers or whatever—which makes it so much more frustrating.
  20. Ugh, obviously more Mando and Clones. Because what else...
  21. I've just seen Superman, and I can't even remember a recent superhero movie that had so much set potential. The chances of getting even a single set for Supergirl are slim, but I genuinely NEED one. Even more than for Superman.
  22. He's actually a LEGO guy. I love him so much.
  23. Finally some cheap sets. Getting Hagrid in a 20€ set feels too good to be true, so that's definitely a must-buy. The Sorting Hat ceremony will go along well with the Boathouse. Luna's house sounds awesome, glad to see more Deathly Hallows Part I sets. Wondering what the huge Philosopher's Stone set is based on, they've already covered so much. The rest is kind of whatever. The potions classroom would be exciting since it might be a Half-Blood Prince set, but the name suggests it's another openable gimmick. Buildable Cornish Pixie and Ford Anglie sound unremarkable.
  24. This might actually be the funniest thing that's ever happened. "Please LEGO, make me a LEGO." I love him.
  25. I love this Joker head, not sure what about it bugs some people. Fits really well with the jumpsuit too, somehow.
