  1. Well, the spot for Thunderbolts* is also just a short version of the trailer. The difference is, they debuted a trailer for Rebirth a week before, while the ones you mentioned released on the same day. Also, for example, How to Train Your Dragon got a spot, which will just be a short version of the trailer which will be revealed a few days after the game. It's all the same thing. Getting shorter versions of the trailers is just as common as getting spots made specifically for this event, with its own scenes, structure, and music.
  2. What did you expect? Most Super Bowl spots for movies are like that. And the idea of Hammond coming back is ridiculous on so many levels that I won't even think about it.
  3. Genuinely sucks we're not getting any sets for this. The most excited I've been for an MCU movie in a looong while, and each promotional material they release keeps affirming me that's it's gonna be really good. Kind of painful that the moment we might be getting an actual good post-Endgame MCU film, Marvel is like "Nope, you're not getting anything for this."
  4. According to maxbautde, a T. Rex and a Velociraptor will also appear in the Rebirth sets.
  5. We've got set names from fateful on Instagram: 75636 Partys Bar 301 pcs. $29.99 75637 Buggy's Circus 537 pcs. $49.99 75638 Arlong Park 926 pcs. $79.99 75639 Going Merry 1376 pcs. $129.99 75640 Baratie 18+ 3402 pcs. $299.99 Also, there will be at least 6 more sets in 2026!
  6. Why would a movie be made just for the fans? Fans themselves have no idea what they want, and it's not like they're paying to produce the movie. So called "fans" are just a really small percentage of the actual audience of a movie.
  7. Well, by that logic literally every movie ever is a cashgrab. And don't get me wrong, all movies are made to make money, but you've really misunderstood the word cashgrab and what it actually means.
  8. I don't think you know what a cashgrab is. It's an ugly mutant monstrosity. It doesn't look cooler than regular dinosaurs (and it isn't suippsed to), especially from a child's perspective. Its merchandise won't sell better than, say, a Spinosaurus or a Mosasaurus.
  9. It could still be the smallest set though, since that one has a great PPP ratio, with 339 pieces for 25€. I kind of hope they keep it as a separate set without mixing it with moulded dinosaurs, since that would be a rather weird dissonance.
  10. Lots to unpack here. Frankly, this is one of the most random LEGO wave reveals we've ever gotten—just a few of the dinosaurs, with no context whatsoever, and a small teaser from LEGO's Instagram. Zora looks really generic, can't believe they are still using those awful female faceprints on almost every character. Titanosaurus looks cool, I like the colours, but moulded Sauropods have those huge gaps at the bottom of their heads, which I absolutely hate. Quetzalcoatlus looks bad. I mean, by itself it looks cool I guess, but it's nothing like the one in the movie. Spinosaurus is a surprisingly good-looking mould, the gaps aren't noticeable. Not a big fan of the colour scheme though—it's too dark, and again, looks nothing like the movie counterpart. And now, as a brickbuilt dinosaur lover (the T. Rex diorama is still the only Jurassic set I own), let me tell you that I LOVE the Mosasaurus. It looks fantastic, and I adore the colours. Now, there's only one question remaining—is it a standalone set (just the Mosasaurus, as a buildable creature), or a part of a regular one with minifigures? If the latter, it's a must-buy, and I hope they don't mix it with any moulded dinosaurs. Anyway, I really need the descriptions for those sets. It's all quite confusing, and I want to see how all the dinosaurs are distributed.
  11. I don't think so. After all the whole premise of the movie is that they are on an isolated island with completely new dinosaurs.
  12. So much potential for the sets. The boat scene seems like a potential candidate, but I doubt they'd put two dinosaurs as desirable as Spinosaurus and Mosasaurus into a single set. Quetzalcoatlus scene also seems like a good possibility, with the Incan structure / cave. Titanosaurus is so huge that I wonder if they'll actually make a set with it. T. Rex, Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus all made a comeback—they won't miss the former, and I assume one of the latter will appear in the smallest set. The mutant looks like a Rancor, but I wonder if they'll include it in the sets. Could make for a cool one with a T. Rex as its opponent, but I'd honestly prefer getting all the other dinosaurs before this one.
  13. I mean... Titanosaurus, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, T. Rex, Spinosaurus, Aquilops (granted, that one's tiny) and the new T. Rex/Xenomorph/Rancor mutant... that's a lot to ask from just four sets, and these are only the ones that are crucial to the plot or heavily promoted.
  14. Unfortunately nothing is guaranteed, since we only have four sets with moulded dinosaurs this year.
  15. Hear me out... Anti-Venom mech.
  16. It's not a spoiler if it's from the official account—and that's not even what a spoiler is, since none of the stills show anything relevant to the plot. Anyway, T. Rex looks fantastic in this movie, and I love that they are already showing the Spinosaurus(es)—and there's more than one, and they are swimming too! I'm in love. Hope we hear something more about the sets soon, so excited to hear about the dinosaurs.
  17. Well, uh... how do we tell him? It's just as bad I fear—both cost 50€; 394 pieces vs 375 for the Spider-Verse set.
  18. Wait, are they actually cooking with this set? Sounds like the most interesting comicbook Spider-Man set since... Daily Bugle, and probably the bridge battle if you're not counting D2Cs. Hobgoblin making a comeback is fantastic. This is quite a unique villain selection. Another MJ is also extremely welcome. Weird that there's no full Peter Parker though, but at least he'll have an alternate head.
  19. On that note, I really hope LEGO continues making those 10€ mechs with desirable minifigures each year.
  20. I really just want to know a price, pretty surprising that we still don't have it. I hope they keep the super good PPP ratio with it being below 200€.
  21. I'll bet all my money on it just being a reuse from Venom's Muscle Car. Don't expect Peni, she's not a Spider-Woman and is completely unmistakable as a character.
  22. Hall of Armour is extremely lacking in its contents. It's completely barebones, yet somehow costs 55€. The build is nice, but for a 20€. Igor is an improvement, although it's still not particularly good. The minifigures are super mixed—it's supposed to be an Iron Man 3 set, so why doesn't it include Iron Man 3 Iron Man and Pepper Potts? Baffling decision. Iron Patriot looks great, and Killian's facial expressions are killing me. The Hulk Truck is surprisingly good. I may be in the minority here, and I couldn't care less about this set, but I enjoy it simply for how absolutely ridiculous it is. The Oscorp minifigure selection is disappointing, as expected. Not a single new villain. Bigfig Venom would be its only saving grace, but we know it ain't happening.
  23. I find it really weird that Nokt in the sets doesn't have a cape, even though he still has one in the series. This season looks amazing, I really like where the story is heading.
  24. LEGO Skywalker Saga had absolutely awful levels. The whole game was extremely disappointing, but the five-minute levels were easily the worst part of it. I hope that if we get another TT LEGO game, they'll rethink how they want to approach those.
  25. I just hope that Sora and Wyldfyre get new suits in those sets, because I can't bear seeing the exact same minifigures over and over again.
