  1. https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news/2025/january/lego-one-piece-partnership-announcement Netflix and LEGO have confirmed the sets are coming, with a small teaser.
  2. I am really excited to hear more about this new series. Wonder how I'll work with Dragons Rising, and whether it's a smaller side project or an actual second series. The sets themselves seem to be targeted at adult collectors, since both of them are allegedly more diorama-styled, with both the mech and the dragon placed on a baseplate with some scenery. The lack of minifigures is kind of disappointing though.
  3. The situation is so bad that we've started gaslighting each other into thinking it's actually better than it seems. We're reaching new levels of insanity.
  4. Big Ninjago news: a new series is coming! there will be a new ninjago tv series called Ninjago Monstrosity also thanks to Tommy 71847 Guardian Dragon features a dragon standing on rocks with a movable head, arms and scales. It has large wings. There is a pond with a floating, magical sword. It features only Master Wu. Fire Knight Mech includes Kai with a magic sword and a Fisherman on a boat. It has a massive Kai mech fighting an ancient sea monster with tentacles. Both based on the new series Everything from lite on the Ninjago Discord.
  5. I don't know, it's a really nice way to get a huge variety of faceprints from generic army builders. If their faces were all the same, they wouldn't really be that useful. But since you can use their faceprints, they become more desirable altogether.
  6. I completely agree that this year is a new low for LEGO DC, especially within the context of DCU beginning. It genuinely feels like someone who has absolutely no idea about what DC is or who Batman is is managing this theme. It feels like an executive saying "What Batman movie haven't we tackled yet?" "Well, sir, there's Batman Forever... but—" "No 'buts', just make it work. Just remember that the budget allows us to do just a single set, with no more than one new minifigure print."
  7. For a second I wanted to slightly defend this set for being more like the recent '66 Batmobile, but: a) it has half the amount of its pieces, and b) it's not an 18+ set. Frankly, it's ridiculous. I remember my last glimmer of hope for this year being a nice, 100€ Batcave. But then it turned out to be based on Batman Forever. And then it turned out not be a Batcave, but a Batmobile. And then it turned out to have a single minifigure.
  8. I like the sound of Oscorp being a part of the street, but with that piece count... The same leaker has already confirmed that it's even more shallow than the Malfoy Manor, so uh... probably connects to the bodega, which is eight studs deep—but that doesn't bode well for the quality of the interior. Anyway, I'm really curious to hear the minifigure selection for those two sets and see the final product.
  9. I don't really get why a 150€ diorama is a... dragon, mostly? Like literally a huge dragon on a black baseplate with a small temple? Sounds kinda pointless.
  10. The same is gonna happen with the Sequels when a new trilogy releases in ten years.
  11. I'm lost for words. If the Arkham Asylum is really somehow based on those movies... like, genuinely—what would have to be going on in LEGO's mind? The Batmobile including only one minifigure (unless it was a typo) would be absolutely ridiculous, especially for a 100€ one.
  12. Damn, sucks that Frohicky most likely won't end up being in the set after all. Still, I like the fact that they're including multiple side characters in such a set who we otherwise wouldn't have gotten in regular waves.
  13. Yes please! I need a Dedra minifigure! Damn, I really hyped myself up for her inclusion in the U-Wing. My dissappoiment will be immeasurable if she isn't included.
  14. Uh, no. That's the suit he's wearing in Endgame's final battle: https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/marvel-iron-patriot-hot-toys-904924 Not sure why they suddenly changed the colour scheme for the finale, but I guess it looks better against the lifeless, dull background.
  15. Why? Rhodey had a bigger role in Endgame than Pepper. It makes sense to include him.
  16. I'm pretty sure it's just the Batmobile. According to one of the leakers, it was always a Batmobile, but they assumed it to be a Batcave due to its price point.
  17. Not really, that's just what happens when a new project releases in an otherwise periodical franchise. Same thing happened with the Star Wars Prequels when the Sequels were releasing—even though they weren't received better than the Sequels when they released back then, suddenly people started liking them because there's a new thing to hate on.
  18. Buy them on a discount. There's no way I'm buying LEGO's overpriced sets if they aren't 50–30% off, depending on how pricey they are.
  19. W—wait... PETER'S APARTMENT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?! Did LEGO Marvel suddenly become good? Are they stupid... not? In all seriousness, that sounds amazing. I will absolutely get it, even if just to support a line of small NYC modulars. That's exactly what I've been waiting for. Can't wait to hear more about it. Kinda interesting that the Summer wave is either sets I genuinely couldn't care less about, and the coolest-sounding sets ever (Peter's apartment, Spider-Man 2 set, Oscorp).
  20. I wonder which suit they'll use for Kilmer's Batman—the regular or the Sonar one. Getting the Bat-Nipple suit would be the funniest possible outcome methinks.
  21. Yeah, Peter's apartment sounds way too good for LEGO to make. Also, I don't know why people think every rumoured Spider-Man set will suddenly connect to the deli. It's a Spider-Verse set, and they wouldn't mix those with random comicbook Spider-Man ones. If they ever make an extension for it, it'll have to be another Spider-Verse set.
  22. Yeah, it's confirmed to be a ship.
  23. Honestly, at this point I barely have any expectations for the Arkham Asylum. I do hope it turns out amazing though...
  24. Right? People are saying "finally an Endgame Iron Patriot," but the fact that we've gotten so many Endgame sets over the past few years and still we don't have key players like specific variants of Black Widow, Hawkeye (Ronin), Hulk, Nebula, and probably others that I haven't mentioned yet is simply ridiculous. Eh, it's like five times it's size and based on a completely different Spider-Man version. If anything, I see them releasing another Spider-Verse set that connects to the deli (like the one Instagram post I've shared here some time ago).
