Hello! Marth Brickard here with a question...
grum64 replied to Marth Brickard's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks Marth Brickard great to have you join our community. As for what to start building, well that really depends on you and your interests. If you have an idea in mind for something you'd like to create yourself, or if you need inspiration look through the pages of Eurobricks, you could then build it virtually on your computer using Lego Digital Designer, LDraw or if your really clever SR3D. When you're happy with it a print yourself a part list and instructions. Order any needed parts from Bricklink and away you go. The great thing about Eurobrick is there's always someone to give help and advice if you have a problem. Just look through the forums and you'll see there's some phenomenally talented people here. I look forward to seeing your future builds. -

[MOC] Fluid Drive Bus Mk1
grum64 replied to HarmanMotor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello Harman and welcome to Eurobricks You certainly know how to make an entrance. While I'm vaguely familiar with fluid drives, implementing a fluid drive transmission on a Lego MOC is something I've not come across before and certainly not something I thought I'd see. Your MOC is, as my learned friend TheItalianBrick so eloquently put it, 'ugly as hell' but as you say appearance wasn't your prime objective. I look forward to seeing your future builds. The .pdf manual you've done is very informative with everything being explained clearly making it very easy to understand. It's brilliantly done, genuinely as good as anything you could buy anywhere. You Sir, are a Genius! -
When putting technic pins in place or pressing pieces together I very often end up with the pieces joined to and hanging from my lip. My Wife says I look like a dog with a stick! Hurts like heck and more often than not bleeds like billy o when pulled off!
