oh wow, someone takes the heatwave worse than others I guess...I don't know what the whole mini-modding millennial part is but I'm sure you'll have a nice conversation with Stash you're right about the reason for a "wrong figure" though, that might be the cause. But as I can see you're not here that long yet so I'll just spare you some rage and give an advice: let it go. If TLG "messes up" a figure/set, there will be endless moaning. Just do what I do in times like this, bite your lip and wait for the mods to make order. Trust me, it works better than rants but then again..I'm just an everyday potato quality expert

This is one of the few things where ol' George had right. The day we find out all about Yoda will be the saddest one yet in SW history. Some things should be left in the mist. But back on topic: I don't really get the hate for the stormie sergeant, or the love for the Kylo for that matter. A stormtrooper with pauldrons, what did you expect? Kylo is ok, but nothing too spectacular. Nice printing overall. All in all every minifig is decent I would say. Nothing fancy but they are good. The quality you would expect from TLG for this money.

Well, my backordered Saturn V is now in Warehouse, so really hope they ship is this week. It's temporarily out of stock now, before it was in backorder with shipping July 11th....crazy demand for this set...as expected, it's selling on ebay for double price already -
SW sets are overpriced. Full stop. I don't care anymore just be good-looking. That gorilla walker looks really lackluster compared to the newly leaked photos of the real deal. That is a bigger problem for me. We should be happy about the BB-8 being fairly well-priced, if it indeed looks good enough.

Soo I was just checking out my local TRU website, and they now repriced the whole summer wave already. Before, everything was the same as in S@H, but they slashed every price a bit, including the Jedi starfighter. It is 130 CHF on S@H, same was in TRU, now they are selling it for 110, and until tomorrow, additional discount to 89 CHF for club members...Still not gonna buy, because it's ugly AF, but looks like they discovered that no one is going to buy it for this money... The battlepacks are on a lower price too, but it's just 3 chf less, so I'm not that mad that I ordered it from S@H Oh, brother that Saturn V.....I saw it's in Backorder until July 11 now in Europe...waiting for mine as well. That for example is a set that's infinitely cooler than the Jedi starfighter and more than twice as many pieces, yet it costs the same....

I don't mean to be an a-hole, or to play mod, but....I din't realize I drank so much yesterday that I time-traveled to the 2018 discussion thread....isn't the Han solo-movie out next year? Even if it comes in May, we can rule out that Disney/Lego will undercut the TLJ-craze with anything from that movie.... (that said, I'd rather read discussion about this then another fake leak but still...)

I find this whole start of sale very frustrating. I was checking the S@H site the whole day yesterday until 17:00 just to see if maybe it will be available to order earlier. Just as I stopped checking as I see it was made available. At least they could inform VIP-s when the sale is starting, this way I went out, got sh*tfaced, and when I woke up today at 6:45 the first thing I did I checked the site and it was already back ordered. Pretty pissed with LEGO right now.... I think - at least in my country and around it in EU - LEGO stores have Ideas sets first exclusively, and then some time later the retailers get them. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) -
I ordered the Bounty Hunter BP this morning, luckily that's the only set I want from this wave, so I don't have to whine about the Saturn V taking my money :)

If we're talking about that 1*1 pixel "photo" on imgur, I would bet on it that it's a fake....it's obvious even in this potato quality that it's been obscured deliberately, and the pic is probably small on purpose because the "leak manufacturer" didn't have the skills to convincingly forge it.... that said, the last time I was so convinced something is not what it seems, we got the 2 generic pilot minifigs for the snowspeeder so... :D Really hard to tell in this size but the overall quality of the whole composition just seems subpar to any lego set I've seen lately.

Yes, rumors, but we've seen in the not so far away past that once these take off, there's no stopping them and some people just recycle them without any additional info. And that - understandably, the mods don't like. I don't want to police either but let's practice some self-moderation on ourselves so Stash doesn't have to :)

Here we go again, I've brought this exact topic up a couple hundred pages of senseless wishlisting before, you'll see soon enough there are plenty of people here who will be eager to spend that money on that set. I myself am rather going for the new Ideas Saturn V, not THAT is a bargain.

What you say does make sense, but as much as the prequels didn't really work as films, at least in this they were consistent, the Jedi starfighters did look like the predecessors of TIE-s, and the ARC fighters did resemble the X-wings just the right amount. Yes, there has to be a sense of continuity, but what I'm saying is in 30 years more development happens than just recoloring something. Just look at cars from 30 years ago. About the Kylo can pilot because of the Force....it is pretty well established that not everyone strong with the Force is a good pilot. Obi Wan e.g. was a decent pilot yes, but he even hated flying. Why does every Skywalker offspring has to be a good pilot? Skills are not the only thing defining a family I think... Woah, 3000 EUR? I'd rather buy a retired UCS set for that money :D
