  1. Congrats all! Definitely worthy winners!
  2. Great MOC! I can't believe no one has mentioned the fantastic wall in the sewer! Fantastic entry - now that's what I call a crock!
  3. Haha I love the Dog and the Pig. Really great stuff. I'm extremely impressed at how you took iconic moments (moments I flirted with thinking about building) and turned it into LEGO-reality. Each one is instantly recognizable - so job well done. Only suggestion I would have is maybe put in some 1x1 round plate/tile around the 1x1 tile path. The path looks a bit sparse.
  4. Very nicely done! I thought about doing this scene, but didn't think I could pull it off - but you did it quite nicely! I enjoyed the epilogue a lot. Good luck!
  5. I can't believe only one person has mentioned how great the forced perspective is! While Joker and bat-pod are very nicely done - it's the buildings, the details and the over all execution that blows my mind away. Very well done sir!
  6. All I want for Christmas is a blaster that shoot straight.
  7. Thanks everyone!

  8. Oh no! Without the flag, how will I ever figure out which guild this is for? I don't know why - maybe it's the white background - but overall moc has a nice ... clean and professional feel to it. I particularly like how you used the chains. and of course the bunny :D
  9. I like those odds! I like this tower even more. Nice combination of simple symmetrical pattern with a few things breaking it up. well done!
  10. The white back drop makes it look a lot nicer. The lime green highlights are cool. Nice job.
  11. While i'm not overly fond of hunting men... the build is top notch! Lava and the snow transition as people have mentioned are fantastic. Great use of the cheese wedges.
  12. Master Cartographer Tafik! Excellent start. I'm liking the squished look. But I agree with Rasputin - a small storage of Black Oil would be a good addition to ensure the beacons can be lit. Though where's the steps / path? It is against safety regulations not to have them! Another cool thing you could try if you're running low on bricks is maybe build some micro mountains or clouds/sky behind the mountains. -- I'll try to start up the index page in the first post this weekend. It'll give us a better feel for how we're doing against some of the other guilds - it seems like our towers and other builds are bit lacking at the moment. Maybe if we have them all consolidated we can get a better idea of where we are and what we need to do.
  13. And if that day ever comes to pass, I shall drench you in ideas to flourish the mind. Reminder everyone just overb 2 weeks left before the High King expects to see our towers as well as some of our other best works! So for those that have time, please continue with your construction/refinements as I hear the King will be rewarding each guild with Coin for our efforts. Coin which we shall utilize later... [For those that can't his month - I expect his royal Highness shall decree something new for us to create ....]
  14. Let's try to keep the machinery inline with some of the other guilds... nothing too crazy even though we do have some black oil... remember we haven't invented refining techniques yet - so it's not overly combustive enough to power an engine. @ Waterbrick - fantastic ideas _ I whole heartedly endorse anyone to make any of these, over I'd still like to keep thing loose and have you guys decide and determine what needs to be built - much like how we're flushing out the map - I find it slightly more organic than being provided a series of challenges... cause trust me - those will come from the High King himself Though if you guys want me to start assigning items for particular people that can be arranged... but it may not be an easy task.
  15. Don't worry, the mods can delete the double post... On to the moc: I love the use of the dark green ground, and the dark patches in the side of the tower are nice. I think I can tell where 2 of the 3 people came form Not sure who the last one is. Only suggestion I have is the base, I know the Guild colours is red, but that red base/coupled with the white backgrounds totally draws the eyes away from the tower and towards the base. a darker colour (maybe black with red highlights?) may work better?
  16. Great Build! I'm really glad you kept at it. and I TOLD YOU you could build a tower around a snot core ;) Turned out great - and really unique. The transitions from each 'section' really are smooth and work well together. So... anyone else kinda think it looks now looks like a beer bottle ?
  17. Kustig , you and your men are welcome and very much appreciated here. We currently do not have much in the way of land based scouts/skirmishers. We have a few grand griffins that provide some aerial recognisances, but it would good to have some eyes on the ground! Jahi more fantastic beasts to our arsenal! Though I am interested on what manner of ancient towers are hidden within the necropolis... zakura we await your entrance. Arwald Sharp good to hear that progress is being made! we eagerly await your updates. Yakob my friend, a truly great tower you have built. It is definitely not the standard tower we see, it has a ... almost magical feel to it... I wonder what stories have been told about how this tower came to be....
  18. 1) Big Fish scene - Magician, Mime Artist and Circus Clown Entry (Build by lorax) - 1 point 3) The Mist scene - Skateboarder and Woodcutter Entry (Build by Yatkuu) - 1 point 6) Planet of the Apes scene - Caveman, Gorilla and Cavewoman Entry (Build by CorneliusMurdock) - 1 point
  19. 8) Zoo Keeper Entry (Build by TinyPiesRUs) - 1 point 9) Zoo Keeper Entry (Build by CarsonBrick) - 1 point 14) Eskimo Entry (Build by Skrytsson) - 1 point
  20. Stunningly beautiful church. That archway is really great. I wish I could offer some constructive criticism or something ... but I'm truely a loss for words. The scale of the chruch really impresses me, it FEELS a lot bigger than it is. Which just makes it even more appealing to me... really fantastic build man. I hope you do well in CCC.
  21. You have quite the talent for vehicles... you should try SPACE some time Another solid entry. Very nicely done especially capturing the scene without even having a Robin figure!
  22. HAHAH this has win written all over it. Great concept and execution! While the concept won me over, the details and building is actually top notch. he arches for sewers looks great, the modified bricks for the ladder - the fact that it's built side ways.... I'm really digging this.
  23. I have yet to play Arkham City, but that's pretty darn awesome...the batmobile in particular is great. and I really like the batman kick pose ;)
  24. Thank you, brother from the north. My dwarven mind knows how to build things that work... but not why they work... that seems very logical and I shall take your word for it! I'll have some our our more learned men see what use wan can make for salt - besides my Chips!
  25. We do not fear the other guilds. We do not fear that which can not hurt us. But Ancient Aliens (as seen on History Channel) from the skies... that is something to be guarded against. -- Fantastic work Christoph ! I expected to see some 'non traditional' elements coming from the south, and you do not disappoint. Definitely a unique and one of my fav towers so far. Great job. The entire concept is well done, The subtle colour marking is great. those few side ways studs just adds so much nice texture... there is a lot to like here.
