  1. I love the map! and I look forward to future chapters and get to better know our friends from the north! Though question concerning your map - is it hand draw? or did you use some sort of magical komptar machine ?
  2. Fonzy!, my dwarven brother, that is fantastic! I did not realize we had that much marble! I really like the circularness of the entire build - the tower top and shaft are seamless ... wonderful work. Rock work is also nice... Only suggestion I have at this point is maybe add a little path from the front of the tower to maybe some steps through the rock? just a few dark bley pieces would be enough to create the illusion I think ! Yakob Another great looking start... Colour me (red?) impressed at your building prowess... keep up the good work! Only one week to go everyone! time to finish up the towers, get those final touches in... looks like pretty stiff competition from the other guilds.
  3. Great moc, the foliage is very well done - and pretty clever/amusing story to boot! my only suggestion would be maybe change the backdrop colour - with the white background and long shutter - it makes the bright green and the over all picture REALLY bright. I'd use the sunglasses emoticon - but apparently we don't actually have one!
  4. Congrats! I look forward to seeing it!
  5. Great ship! I like how you were able to incorporate all those prefab pieces together. The only thing this is missing is a full moon
  6. Wow! I honestly thought you've been a life long Castler - your stuff has been incredible... and this is no exception... those sheep in particular I thought were really nicely executed. I'm really liking all the little touches you have going... the only suggestion I could make is maybe angle the tiles infront of the fort gate so it's parallel to the gate - it's a bit tougher to do - but I think it'd look that much nicer :)
  7. The story is fantastic. And the build lives up to it. the pools are great, but I really love how you used the different shades of blue... it's a very subtle but nice effect. Well done!
  8. Kcaj Fantastic bazaar! It is good to see the busy bustling trade has returned to our fair kingdom! What better way to watch over our citizen than sell them fantastic merchandise! Intended or not, those shadows that are cast are fantastic! Also ... those are some frightful ninjas... I hope they're on our side. Brickmaestro Welcome to EB and the guild! we look forward to you joining us. I didn't realize we had so many people fresh from the dark ages - that makes what we're doing in here that much more impressive! great work everyone Master Cartographer Gex! Great build - and I *LOVE* the concept of the back story to this. Another super unique build to the Kaliphlin family - you guys truly make me proud. Wahil We are eagerly await your artists work! But what impressive companions you have! It is good to finally meet the Emir and the Eunuch. YtR Your skills continue to impress me. It is good to see all this activity. Even though we do not need such weapons at this time, busy workers are happy workers... and a strong stockpile is a strong defence.
  9. So I totally love this. It is incredibly impressive to build something this large and intricate and be evenly detailed and diverse throughout. As well as creating a very believable top notch level of decay. There's really not much to not like here. And while this is truly an epic build ... what would put it into Original Trilogy Epiciness would have been: Making it an actual maze - one way in and one way to centre (thus making everyone actually stare at it for hours to go through the maze ). The X is super cool... but imagine if it was a CIRCULAR maze?
  10. HAHAHA well played Brickdoctor... well played. Congrats CopMike! Keep up the great work!
  11. Bland? That's awesome. I love the look and feel. And it's an awesome cameo colour. Awesome build!
  12. Yes this moc is fantastic! Please make the changes and enter it! This is such a lovely moc it would be a shame if you don't enter. go go go! /roots
  13. Haha I love this. Brilliant idea and great executuion. I look forward to seeing your other life style builds!
  14. Fantastic build! The tower is nice - but that base is brilliant. I particularly like that path you have there!
  15. Very cool. I love how 'clean' the whole build is. It really feels like a nice polished mass produced weapon (OF HORRORS) ;) I look forward to more from your weapon shops.
  16. Apologies on the lateness of my reply, I have been on Ostriches traveling around for the past few days.... Fonzy - All is welcome. Now and in the future. We welcome your merry band of new acquaintances. We need stout explorers to help map out and defend our realm! Welcome! Though which traveler is you? Ah Kcaj Nosnikta It is good to finally see you and your men! They look like a strong lot and shall do well here. And what a great tower. Those spikes in particular will give any travelers a strong reminder of the gaze that falls upon them. There are also some fantastic details you have placed in your tower - I'm pleased with the additional pictures on your photostream that really show some of the niceties of the build. Dugal ! That is terrible news! I hope your brother is okay. Talk to my Master at Arms, I shall send 10 men to aid you in what justice needs to be done. [Lack of baseplate is fine... sometimes even interesting... though if you not satisfied by how your layouts look with limited parts - you can fake it some what. Just have say a few plates in a little mound that you randomly scatter on the ground. that way it gives an impression of some landscaping without the intensive use of brick. Similar to how those mummies are standing on - but round it out and add 1 or 2 more plates above it to make it look natural] Wahil Excellent news on your progress! I look forward to see your tower completed. Mikey What an iron beast you have! That shall surely burn the fears into the eyes of our enemies... hopefully it works better than some of our previous inventions... Rasputin I did not realize that such a discovery was made! *glares at science advisor* Quick! Fetch me our finest aged Oil Whiskey and dispatch them to Rasputin for their wondrous application of new "Opticks" ... -- I have to say that you guys are doing a fantastic job here... and I'm proud to be Kaliphlin! And stay tuned, I've procured some extra goodies to reward everyone for their wonderful work here....
  17. hahah I laughed/was too amused by this than I should have been. Really cute and I really liked the story telling. The story and figure posing is great, but your background builds have been fantastic. Your previous ones were good, but this one is brilliant! I love it.
  18. Another great tower. I'm super impressed how so many people have been able to build with the ... 'desert flair' Truely fantastic stuff. hehehe poor camel ;)
  19. Sign up in the guild threads - that's the best way. Read over the four introduction posts in each guild then decide on a guild to join and just post in their thread! If you don't know which guild or want a random one post here and we can assign you a guild. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
  20. Oh so you're an Assembler man eh? Still neat in my books ;)
  21. Si-MOCs

    Canadian Eh?

Haha thanks for the heads up. I was on my way and saw this en route - ill take the shrot route home!
  22. You are fast becoming quite the castle builder.... SPACE is going to miss you ;) Another awesome build.
  23. Fantastic snowball launchers! You folks in the north sure know how have some fun.... At least I hope that's what these are for... Cause they would look quite menacing ....
  24. I love the rock work on the stairs and the tiling on the tower. Very nicely done friend from the west!
  25. As everyone said, the wood braces are brilliant. The subtle dark tan terrain and the interesting wall motifs make this a fantastic tower. It's clean and simple. fantastic!
