  1. The complete January / March Technic and Speed Champions lineup can be bought for ~590 EUR at retail price... there's no way this thing's price can be justified if it is true.
  2. Not really, with a weight of 1 kg it already breaks, and even with something less it bends awfully. I really hope TLG aims for sturdiness and reliability this time instead of size.
  3. Each Powered Up "part" is available as a "set". 88013 is a "set" with this number if you check on Bricklink for example, but it only has a single part which is bb0959c01 at least in BL terms.
  4. I also thought that based on the Technic Chiron, bud the Speed Champions Chiron used regular blue so...:) We'll see. Dark azure would be more authentic for sure. The rumored Liehberr will be Control+ I guess, and also the Audi based on the price / piece count.
  5. I remember so many people complaining about x, y or z sets because of their color choice, and was requesting TLG to release them with other color options. We saw a few attempts with the Fiat 500 and the racing stripes of the Camaro, now this Bugatti, and then people will complain why anything is being released with a color choice? This doesn't steal a design, production slot or whatever from anything else, why can't we be happy to see a little experimenting?
  6. I wonder if "agile blue" means dark azure or regular blue in LEGO form.
  7. I'm really glad we had that discussion, you did an excellent job! :) Can't wait to climb my mountain of review sets and start building this beauty!
  8. Even without testing it I'm 99.9% sure you cannot use any PU motor as a servo with a PU / PF adapter cable.
  9. I think our expectations towards B models is somewhat distorted, we want to see a certain level of detail and realism in every Technic model nowadays. Take a look at the sheer amount of alternates made for the 42117 Race Plane for example, I think Grohl alone made thirty-something of them. Technic is just an arbitrary selection of LEGO pieces, but not all alternates should be vehicles or machines. Having so many licensed sets might be the biggest limiting factor from TLG's side, I guess e.g. Lamborghini wouldn't be happy to see a Ford F150 as a B-model.
  10. It is possible, I wonder how an orange Ford GT looked like :)
  11. It worked on an off-roader, why wouldn't it work on a supercar? :)
  12. I think an interesting solution would be to add adjustable ride height with suspension - the lowest point would give us the proper look for display, and then if anyone wants to play with the vehicle and actually use the suspension then the ride height could be increased.
  13. "Competition" for TLG will be something meaningful if you will start to see more alternative building block toy boxes in regular toy stores than LEGO, until then it only affects a fraction of fans and they couldn't care less.
  14. 42126 Ford Raptor at least had suspension, although the piece count was significantly higher. I would see no point of releasing an off-roader in Technic without suspension. I know, we've seen the Top Gear rally car so nothing is impossible, but still..
  15. I really hope only one of them is RC. If I have to bet we get a simple RC Huracan, something like a mashup between the Corvette-sized sets and the Top Gear Rally car. The Audi can be a release for the fall, similar to the 42127 Batmobile, hopefully with suspension this time.
  16. If you ever wondered how Milan's signature looks like :)
  17. No separate embargo, not sure about the others but I'm still working on the Monster Jam video :) Smaller January Technic sets were not offered for review unfortunately, need to find them on the shelves to build & review.
  18. If they want to make the car look anything similar to this and not an off-road caricature then you can remove suspension from your feature list :)
  19. Sorry man but I really don't understand what is so difficult to grasp about it. He posted it accidentally, then quickly corrected it, end of story. It happens with the best of us.
  20. He's totally aware of it, that's why his review is not online yet.
  21. TLG is not the only company doing this, guess it makes sense from some marketing point of view. But as @Jundis mentioned it is not that difficult to figure out the pattern, nowadays reviews are shared roughly 2 weeks prior the street date of the set.
  22. Ridiculous or not, these are the rules. We can either accept them or wait until January 1st when the sets are on the shelves officially and anyone can make content about them. I guess if you are really interested in this model then you could already find every possible detail on YouTube, published by people who doesn't need to follow any rules.
  23. That information is also under embargo :)
  24. I think it was posted by mistake, as it shouldn't be shared yet.
