  1. Really confused about August 1st date on the U.K. site, they’re already showing up in stores so what gives
  2. There’s only a description for me
  3. Any hints to find the pics on Instagram? It’s nt in the usually places
  4. What the hell Lego, the Quidditch set is already appearing in stores!
  5. We didn’t expect a minifig scale set though, that’s the thing. We expected a system-scale Set like the great hall
  6. It’s a tired argument. But it came with a UCS style plaque and was a large and expensive set. What’s so bad with calling it UCS?
  7. The term UCS is really given based on personal preference. For example I class the Tumbler and Helicarrier as UCS, but other don’t. A £500 scale-model Of Hogwarts is definitely UCS in my books Do you reckon it will just be the microfigs? Or the whole set?
  8. That’s fair enough, I’m just really disappointed it’s not a system scale set. And seeing others reactions it seems I’m not the only one. I suppose this does allow Lego to potentially make a ‘flagship’ building set every year; The Clock tower, Bell towers, astronomy tower etc.
  9. I was referring to knights Bus, CMF list, original set descriptions.
  10. Have you seen images or is this just hearsay?
  11. Until we see pictures I’m taking this with a large grain of salt. People seem to be believing the HP leaks way too quickly, and a lot of them have turned out wrong.
  12. A £500 microscale Set doesn’t make sense. if you’ve heard this from someone, is it possible they could have mistaken the system scale for micro? Microfigures technically are in scale with the great hall exterior
  13. A little theory I have (may have mentioned before) about the D2C; is that the Great Hall and Whomping Willow sets are previews of the two different ways the D2C will be constructed. in the Great Hall Set we have a large “iconic” building. Both the tower and hall are connected and not able to detach from one another. now, in the Whomping Willow Set, if you look at the different sections, there are grey 1x2s with technique pin holes spread about he separate structures, making this a very modular set. From what I can tell it can be separated into 4; the large tower, the bridge/arch, and the two small towers/walls that are near enough identical from the outside. much like how the Hoth Attack Set previewed the trench in Assault on Hoth. I think these sets are a taster for how the modular nature of the D2C will work. There will be large “iconic” buildings, say 5 or 6, that have high detail and have the technique bricks either side. And then along with these you get a multitude of various sized towers and bridges/arches, probably similar in design to the ones in the Whomping Willow Set, that can be used to configure the castle to whichever way you like. Additionally, this could make people buy multiples of the Willow Set, in order to gain a few more towers and walls to add to their Hogwarts configuration what dyou guys think??
  14. We do know it’s Hogwarts
  15. It is odd considering how good communication usually is from Lego. But I guess if it really due to TRU closing then they’ve obviously been busy sorting things out. They have to move dates around to meet profits, move exclusives to different reltailers, do whatever they’re doing with the bricktober exclusives and sell off all the stock that was going to go to TRU Hello there
  16. Honestly I’m not surprised with a The FB Sets, but Aragog being later is intriguing.
  17. Darn, really hoped to grab them all. odd that the Grindlewald Set was announced so early when now it’s coming later Even with the sets coming earlier, I doubt that a CMF series would be released earlier, as it is technically a different line
  18. There’s been some changes to Lego’s release calendar apparently due to TRU closing. For example the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Sets are not listed but are now being released July 1st. I think it’s just all a bit up in the air at the moment
  19. Ahhhh that makes sense. Thank you TRU I guess, i’m desperate for these sets!!!
  20. So what gives for Lego stating August 1st all along. Has there been any instance before where the release date has moved like that?
  21. Hmmm, another Quidditch set found in the U.K. strange no others have been found
  22. Whilst I agree with you. It seems even though lego are looking to make this a lasting theme, they are doing some ‘damage control’ just incase it doesn’t sell. Having a Voldemort in the CMF and Dolores etc. In the minifig pack. I think they’re going to cover all the bases they can. Whilst a Hagrids Hut Set would make more sense as it’s own set, I think there is a chance we’ll see it in the D2C
  23. Telling a potterhead the August 1st release date earned me a 5 minute rant
  24. Pretty sure the hospital wing is in the Clocktower in Prisoner of Azkaban, hopefully it will be there in the Set for the interior detailing.
  25. Although it’s kikely to be teen Groot, I wouldn’t say that this description necessarily confirms it is, that description could fit adult Groot
