Personally, I would much prefer a second D2C based on season 2. It could be the Lab, as that plays a much bigger role and could include the gate and the lift. Figs could include punk 12, Steve, Bob , Max, billy. And could include Billy’s car or something on the side. Some moulded Demodogs would be awesome too then a third D2C of something like Starcourt Mall from season 3 could work i honestly would not complain about a CMF series though, I’m gonna be making Steve, Nancy, Jonathan and Max anyhow (I too don’t see the fascination with barb, she was a character who served her purpose, she wasn’t exciting or interesting, definitely didn’t deserve to have an action figure or funko pop made of her before the likes of Steve or Nacy)

It’s a hot Toys figure, so probably not, those things are $300-400 a piece, they’re never wrong for detail. -

For anyone like me who wants a Pegasus for Valkyrie, the Harry Potter summer sets have get ya covered! -
Those are definitely real. Those cgi renders are extremely hard to fake. They look fantastic. Fleur even has dual moulded legs! its funny how so many people said we wouldn’t get a pointy hat death eater, and here we are
-
Pegasus-type horses in that set will be perfect for MCU Valkyrie!
-
There would never be GOT. That is full adult crazy. Explicit sex and gore at least in Stranger Things they’re subtle about it.
-
It’s supposed to be Billy’s car from series 2 I reckon. Don’t think it’s from anything
-
Harry is wearing almost identical clothes, including the same jacket and probably shoes. Seems silly to expect a different print from Lego. From what I can tell, his ‘non-uniform’ costume throughout Prisoner of Azkaban is almost identicle throughout because he only has hand-me-downs from Dudley, only a few things fit him so he wears them alot. A nice little filmmaking detail I think, like how the director got the kids to decide how to wear their school clothes to be more realistic.

Yeah, I would recommend no one buy right now. Wait a month or two and you’ll get them for under £/$15 each -

It’s shot up because of the Hall of Armour set I reckon. People wanna fill those empty slots. If you go back a month, Gemeni and Hammerhead sell for less than £12 on eBay in the uk. Not they’re £50 and £30 respectively -
Yeah, the hairpiece was originally introduced for the greaser figure in a CMF series
-
Wouldn’t be the first time a main character has been recast (Dumbledore) as long as he’s got the hair and moustache should be recognisable enough as the character anyway, as you say back to the discussion
-
They could just recast with a better bloke. Not to side track the thread but the reasons they have for not rehiring him are obvious. They’ll continue with someone else I bet (just get Colin back)
-
Depends on the scene and season. Sometimes his hair is kinda down, a bit like the Han Solo hair. But in other scenes his hair is up like the greasers hair, only shorter. As Lego is slightly caricature, the greaser hair is accurate for that style. But Hans hair is way too long and not ‘sticky-uppy’ enough to work. of anything, the hair used for Cedric in the HP CMF is quite close in style, but not long enough in my opinion

They suspend the house like stilts. I’m interested in how it works though, the tops don’t seem very flat, and those large tree pieces bend very easily
-
I’d rather you lot go back to arguing about leaks, all these details are making me too damned excited!

In one of the films (can’t remember if it’s 2 or 3) the heads up display in Tony’s helmet scans the Mk1 and says ‘reconstruction’ -

I disagree, it looks like this is gonna be the only JP set. I’d rather they just give us everything now than waiting a few more years. And the visitor centre is at the bottom of my list. The gates and tour cars please -
It was posted on Facebook two days before the email as the photo for the store event at Leicester Square. Yeah, that’s correct, however that’s still just leaked info and there’s a small chance it’s not true. Lego haven’t announced a VIP release for May other than Tantive IV
-
This^ they’re revealing it the day of release. That’s cool and all, but I don’t really see why that’s a good move on their part for one, the set is obviously gonna leak somehow. For another, it’s gonna sell terribly on release because no one in the general audience knows it’s coming! For another, we won’t actually get official word on whether it actually releases May 15th, until May 15th
-
There’s no vip set on the store calendar, are we 100% sure it’s not just being revealed then?
-
I thought that too, but surely if it’s meant to represent lights they’d make it brighter on the box art EDIT: they definitely are actually so good spot! They’re just facing downwards, so like the ones the little girl follows. Seems it might not even be the Spider-Man piece, just some sort of bar that has studs with clip on top attached and studs underneath
-
Someone said earlier in the thread there would be a spider-man web piece type thing with lights on. I am a tad confused why they didn’t do that, that piece in black exists, just attach some clip 1x1s with coloured studs on and hang them around the house
-
It seems the branches of the trees are just strategically placed to be displayed without additional support. It seems you can also detach both halves to display them separately. the logo/display stand is a good way of ‘filling up’ the gap under the set if you display it like on the box though
-
Also interested in what piece you’re thinking of. Lego really needs a shoulder length hair piece. Eleven, Captain Marvel and Black Widow have all been short changed in the past year due to the lack of one EDIT: it seems the two half’s of the model are connected by mixel ball joints, so you should be able to detach them and display both next to each other!. Also seems a stand for atleast 4 characters is attached to the logo plaque
