Even if I had the 2011 oneX or even still had my original from 2004. This new one is most certainly going to have a superior build and minifigures. That makes it worth the price for me. Like the Avengers SHIELD quinjet. Compare the 2012 one to the 2019 one. I have the original. But the new one is far superior in detail and design so I’m gonna get it. Same when comparing the 2012 X-Wing and TIE Fighter to the 2018 versions. I have both of those but the new ones are still on my wanted list. Lego improves its detail, designs and part inventory consistently all the time, this new knight bus will likely be very worth it. just my thoughts on it though

So hyped. those cronenberg style monsters are definitely a bit far for Lego. Maybe with forma and that survey about adult fans, they’re experimenting with embracing AFOLs with adult only sets? Stranger things would be a good place to start, it has a very strong fan base, and is one of those shows that generates loads of merchandise for casual fans. And the set would probably release in conjunction with season 3

Kinda think Han Solo’s hair would have looked better. Not a bad choice though (how does his hair look so good after taking the mask off? I need that hairspray!) Interesting that both spider waves this year are great, but the avengers is between are awful. Maybe they just put little effort into avengers because the info they had to base the sets off of might not even be accurate to the movie?

Strongly disagree with that hairpiece choice, it’s way too messy for POA. Her hair was neat and brushed in that movie onwards. And it was pretty much the last time it was at all bushy. What’s wrong with the patronus? Just looks like a stag to me

Amazing! Those sets look absolutely fantastic. Miles better than the ones for the first movie, and a million times better than the crappy Endgame ones

My Sainsbury’s got one box in the week of release. Then only got a restock in December. By then no one was buying them. So their boxes are still pretty full

Sadly not, he’s working on ‘The Suicide Squad’ for DC first, Guardians 3’s production will begin when he’s done with that. So the earliest we’ll get the movie is likely 2022

Yeah, on the topic of the second wave being filler. If all 7 are HP sets then it’s 1 more than last year. Of course one last year was a D2C, but still. Pretty substantial wave imo. for the $15 set. I really wanna see just a classroom. The builds can be a workbench with glasses and a cauldron, and then there could be a book cabinet and a teachers desk maybe. And then the students can just be one from each house. Could have named characters, like Ginny, Crabbe etc. And then you could buy multiples to make other characters. It would be awesome to someday be able to populate hogwarts with tons of students. and it you made the Griffindor Katie Bell, you could take her head and hair and boom make another quidditch player.

Yeah, tbh I think her hairpiece in the CMF was pretty great. years 1&2: 2018 hairpiece years 3-5: CMF hairpiece years 6&7: dimensions pack hairpiece and just for fun Harry’s: yesrs 1-3: 2018 hairpiece year 4: lloyd’s Hairpiece year 5: Mutt Williams hairpiece year 6&7: not sure, something slightly longer than mutts, but not as messy as the 2018 piece and Ron: year 1&2: 2018 hairpiece year 3: Han Solo hairpiece year 4: Quira’s hairpiece year 5-7: either the 2018 piece again, or the 2010 hairpiece

His hat is the same colour as the tan colours on his robes in the scene. Also there’s concept art (can be found from a quick google) were his hat is definitely dark tan, so before colour correction it’s most certainly the closest colour they could have done in Lego

Really like these figures, except for Ron’s hair. Guess I’m grabbing a couple more of that cmf.

Thing is that the MCU hulk hasn’t used the moulded shorts versions since the first movie. The AoU version and this use the smooth mould reserved for other characters. They couldn’t even be asked to print on the toes like in 2015
