The set is 44cm/17.5inches wide, looks similar height, but can’t make out the text on that measurement. Seems fairly large, the front image makes it look very small, the back looks much larger though also, the Christmas lights and letters seem to be a sticker there also seems to be a lightbrick! It’s at the top of the inside of the ‘regular’ house, lighting it up to differentiate it from the Upside Down. Very clever

Those 3 would be fairly easy to do too. Greaser hair for Steve, Ron’s in brown for Jonathan, not sure about Nancy’s though, it’s short but it’s not like the black widow hair, they really need a new ‘neck length’ hairpiece to be honest they should be fairly easy figures to mix though. I think Marty Mcfly has the ‘sunken eye’ look that Jonathan has. Generous civilian clothes will work too
-
Looks great! Not a fan of hooper, needed printed legs and a hat and hair combo, I think Woody’s might work
-
I wouldn’t mind the instagramers name too
-
Looks like the house has the boarded up windows look from a bit into season 1 Fair enough, hopefully I’ll get to that midnight event!
-
Yeah that’s fairs, not saying anything against you or anyone who’s saying this, just my thoughts on it in general. super excited for this set, looks like I won’t be getting the Harry Potter ones release day because of it! I’ll hopefully be able to get to the midnight release, but it’s half term in the. Then (school holidays) so it will be quite difficult. Are we certain it’s releasing in all stores on the 15th for VIPs??

The Batman and Lego movie ones were £10.99 and £12.99 respectively if memory serves me correct, so should be a little less hopefully -
If they can make changes, I’m sure they’ll already be doing that. They know leaking happens. It’s not like this one set leaking is gonna put them into action. They know theres leaking and they already do a lot to combat it. #legoleaks on instagram

It’s been and gone, Lego seem to be cracking down on this one in particular for some reason
-
Just re-read the description, didn’t realise we’re getting a minifig display stand with the logo, that’s awesome! I love it when Lego do things like that. This basically just looks like an Ideas type set
-
Surely it’s gotta leak fully soon?

Think I might keep my Eleven bald i know it’s early days, but it would be cool if they did a D2C for each season. A Stranger Things 2 set of the Hawkins energy building would be awesome, have the hole to the upside down and include demodogs, Bob, Max, Steve etc. Along with punk Eleven
-
Seems you were right! I knew he wouldn’t use that piece. Just far too innacurate. So glad we’re getting a new piece Seems I was right about the skirt piece! The set sounds amazing!
-
They definitely won’t do the ballerina price, that would look awful. They’ll just use the mid legs with a cloth piece like Luna and cho in the HP CMF series probably
-
I think Finn’s hair would be too long for Eleven, however they used it for Krum in the Goblet of Fire sets so makes sense they’d do it here too. I hope we get some printing on the mid-legs to show the dress, socks and shoes if that is her outfit (which it should be) based on other season 1 merchandise (action figures, funko pops) I’m expecting that outfit for sure You’re definitely right there. Both the action figure line and funko pops depicted Barb before those characters. Steve was depicted from season 2 in the action figures.

Lego aren’t the only ones to not make the regular suits. Hasbro have almost exclusively made the Quantum Realm suits for their initial action figures. Even in the legends line. Marvel just wanted to use those suits in merchandising. Even regular Thor is in the QR suit in the action figures -
I wondered where you got demodogs from in my post, it seems ‘figs’ autocorrected to ‘dogs’ I hope that isn’t true about Will, that hair isn’t accurate whatsoever personally I wouldn’t be surprised if we got another mould or two. The simpsons D2Cs has a lot of moulds in them, the POTC one had a couple. Never say never
-
I’m intrigued at what other new moulds we could see in this set, seeing as both dogs seen so far have new ones. Maybe a hairpiece with the bandana for Lucas? Otherwise I imagine they’ll just use Finn’s hair. Ron Weasley’s hair in black will work for Mike. Will might need a new piece though, the closest to his is probably the bob piece from Indiana Jones? But that’s too short. I’m gonna predict that Eleven is in the Jean jacket and dress, with the wig and maybe an eggo box as an accessory? A 1x1 eggo would be cool. I hope we also get all 4 bikes for the boys, and walkie talkies

15th may for VIPs, 1st June for everyone
-
Seems to be definitely based on season 1, so I’d expect Joyce’s house with the lights and letters on the wall. Very Interested in how they’ll do that. I am gonna make sure I’m at that midnight launch in London!

I’m pretty sure it says Sep 1st
-
YES any news on a Uk price?

Remember that despite no one in the general audience having heard of it, Guardians 1 still got a 3 set wave back in 2014. I expect we’ll see 3 sets for the eternals and 1 set for black widow. -
The Dumbledore hair can also be used on the Gambon version for those who don’t like the hat too, so there’s even a use for that fig to make a variant! would be nice if Mcgonnogall was a Yule ball variant or something, but the dress piece, even if it was just plain green, no printing, would still be better than nothing! on another note, so awesome to finally see all the first wave of sets. It is interesting that they’ve announced the Sep 1st Calendar, but not the August 1st sets. expecto Patronum is probably the best set; it has great value with 2 army builder figures and even army builder trees! Harry is great and Sirius and the stag are amazingly good. The clocktower is fantastic, with a fantastic price, not so fussed about the Yule ball minifigures, but the building itself is a great addition to the castle display! The knight Bus is the one I want the most, a good price and an accurate update of my favourite original set from when I was a kid, so much nostalgia! Hagrids hut will be my first version of it and it’s great again. A meh price but hopefully the light brick and the gorgeous buckbeak mould make up for it. The rest of the minifigures are great and the sets detail is superb. The advent calendar looks super fun and unique. The only bad set is the Hungarian Horntail, which is sad to me as the original set is always one I wanted as a kid. The horntail is just ugly, the tent is a block and the figs are kinda underwhelming. But hey, 1/5 sets being bad isn’t too shabby, and atleast we get the golden egg and a proper firebolt! Overall a fantastic wave, and if I weren’t spending my money on the Stranger Things set, it would all be a day 1 buy!!

Yeah, I know all of that. I was giving reasoning as to why Lego-freak was talking about the start of the franchise, rather than the media the sets are based on. Hence why I said ‘otherwise’. Most of the themes I mentioned began as a tie in with some sort of media released in the same. Harry Potter was based on the first movieC The first wave of Marvel sets (I was referring to superheroes rather than Spider-Man) was mostly based on the Avengers, which released that year. (But even then Spider-Man was released the same year as the sets). Jurassic World was based on Jurassic World, released the same year. Star Wars was done for the Phantom Menace etc. Of course I know that those franchises started way before then, but someone asked Lego-freak for clarification on the ‘metrics at play’
