  1. Thank goodness, thought it’d have a massive body and tiny wings
  2. People are claiming the horntail uses the thestral wings, and yet is 34cm wide? That’s impossible, the thestral wings are no where near big enough
  3. Speaking of DH part 1. I think a little £13 set with Hagrid’s motorbike would be great. Include Harris, Harry and a death eater on a broom and that’s your set. i think a ministry of magic set would be better served for the final sequence of Order of the Phoenix, but they could always make some kind of add-on.
  4. I don’t recall there being a goblet of fire in that set? Unless you mean the cup piece in the room of requirement. I’d say that’s way too small. Needs to have a rocky base. I wouldn’t mind it being bigger than minifig scale slightly. Besides, I’m the movie it’s taller than a person. A cool rocky base with a cup or cup-like build to accommodate fire on top could be cool
  5. Yes I have, and in another post I said that I could see a t-Rex being in there, but I’ll say again. The bigger the sets are, the better price per part ratio they have (even Star Wars in the past.) I could easily see a trex, or raptor or something in this set. In fact I’ll be surprised is it isn’t. At the very least I can see the new dilo mould being included to go with Nedry Really doubt it to be honest. Apart from the gates and visitor centre. There’s nothing really iconic to a general audience (and I’d say the visitor centre isn’t really iconic either) and the model would be mostly green. The Harry Potter set worked as it’s a detailed castle, the Lego movie set works because it’s a huge ship that’s also actually in the movie as a build. Here there are way more minifig stuff to make (jeep(s), tour vehicles, the gateaux visitor centre, fences)
  6. I remember some people being adamant we wouldn’t get dumbledores office because it was in the great hall set (it’s not, despite the sorting hat and Fawkes being present, there’s nothing to suggest his office) awesome to see we’ll get something here. I wonder if the Goblet of fire itself will be a new mould, I hope it has some cool blue flames
  7. “37 cm wide” yep, Dragon is big enough. I’m happy
  8. As @Moon_Knight said, Nedry with the tour car he took when he is killed, as that’s the figure we’re getting. Ian with the jeep as he’s got his shirt open. we don’t really have to assume anything. With big sets the price to part ratio is often good. I could see rexy being in it
  9. in relation to the ‘scene specific’ nature of some figures. It’s quite simple in my opinion. Ray and Hammond are from the visitor centre, Nedry goes with a tour car, and Ian goes in either visitor centre of a potential jeep vehicle. i imagine that Alan/Kids will be muddy, and probably meant to go with Rexy. I hope this set does come with an accurate rexy. The 2018 &2019 Rexys have really great print work, they just have awful colour schemes. If they nail that aspect they can make a perfect one. i think the set will be a facade of the visitor centre, and on the inside feature a Trex skeleton, similar to the ideas set submission, and a small kitchen and computer room etc. It won’t be a full enclosed thing, but dollhouse style like Lockwood manor, but with a tad more substance. As well as that I can see us getting a jeep and explorer. One for Nedry, and the other for Ellie/Ian/Muldoon. The Dino will be an exclusive version of rexy, and then variants of Alan and the kids on the side. Maybe a raptor or two thrown in for good measure? Two would be good, as with the original JP set you can collect all 3 raptors.
  10. That set looks fantastic! Sirius’ hair doesn’t look like Lukes to me. Love the size of the build and the fact that we get 2 dementors!
  11. Yeah that castle is way over 300 pieces too
  12. We’re getting them in the uk? A shame that everything in that shop is like 30% overpriced
  13. Probably, but I still wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t there
  14. So there’s gotta be atleast the Jeep
  15. So John Hammond and Nedry’s face just leaked on Insta. Ace!
  16. That screenshot is rather misleading. The ‘offer applies’ but is referring to the current VIP points promotion. It’s £75 on any marvel sets to get the tower
  17. That’s not the set. That is just part of the new batman wave. The D2C is separate. also all this should really be discussed in the DC thread, not in its own
  18. They probably mean steamboat willie. Which has been revealed
  19. To be fair, the 2015 Jokerland is essentially the 1989 Batmobile. It’s very close. this batmobile is really great, apart from the length, shave off 3 studs between the side tubes and front and it’s perfect. the batcave is reaaalllyy growing on me. It’s like the 2012 one smashed into the 2017 one and then stole the colours of the 2006 one. A nice mash of all 3. Clay face is pretty bad, the movie version is pretty perfect to me. I quite like the tank, might repurpose as a sort of bat-drone thing. The set might combine quite well with the others. I really like the computer design, might be the best yet. the batcycle set is really interesting. Looks like the tumbler, it’s unique and not an oversized pile of junk, actually looks like something. Mr. Freeze looks alright. Think I’ll take the head and helmet and add it to my current freeze. the batwing looks great. I’ve never been a fan of the 1989 design, way too round, but they’ve pulled it off really well. I don’t like that the heli is just a recoloured ‘66 copter, but at least it works really well. The car is quite nice, looks like the batman movie GCPD car and a city car had a baby. Gordon looks great and I’m excited for Shazam (the movie is fantastic!) i quite like this wave, shame there’s no new characters, but I think we have enough batman characters to occupy us for now. I’m Justin happy we’re actually getting some worthwhile vehicles, and a new batcave.
  20. I’m not sure about these. Each build seems to be both great and bad. The bat mobile is great but too big and long, the batwing is a great version of the ‘89 one, but I’m not a fan of that batwing so oh well. The bat cave is really nice, although elements seem a bit <insert that tiresome argument>; the darker version of the 2012 lift is a really nice touch the riddler copter just being the 66 one in green is terrible.
  21. We definitely wouldn’t get a adult orientated CMF series. The series is meant to be impulse buys for kids at shops. A D2C can be for adults as you can only get it in one place and it’s expensive
  22. Aren’t the mid legs the same size as a brick? Could just have a 1x2 brick. Unlikely I know, but I might do that if we get legs
  23. The red torso at the bottom isn’t from this theme
  24. Gordon looks good, although the leg printing is way off
  25. The moulded dragons like smaug aren’t good for the horntail imo. They’re too static and you can’t pull off a good flying pose. The horntail needs to have wings that can be used like arms to crawl around, essentially they need to be able to fold in
