These figures are looking great -
Wouldn’t that be a bit small for the clocktower? i don’t think they’d remake the parts for the 2010 set we’ve had already (great hall, grand staircase tower) they’d just do what they haven’t done (the OotP set building and astronomy tower)

There’s a new batman magazine with a robin minifigure. Is that a new figure? I don’t recognise it EDIT: it’s Jason Todd. For those who missed out on the juniors set, here’s your chance -
I mean the exterior building on a similar note, a while back someone proposed a Dumbledores office set, and someone replied saying it’s in the great all set. Where is it? I was looking st my set and there actually isn’t anything to suggest dumbledores office at all. The sorting hat and fauxes are there, but there’s no desk or anything to suggest an office. And even I could swear it was in the tower and @LordVoldemort please stop saying your opinions or speculation like they’re facts. Speculation is a ok, but just telling everyone they’re wrong with no evidence is a bit redundant

Would make sense for the year after too following this pattern. There’s 4 building in the 2010 set. The great hall, the main tower, the astronomy tower, and a building resembling the 2007 set (it seems to be a condensed version of the building to the right of the castle, there’s a large tower behind the part we get in the UCS set so it kinda resembles the 2007 set when looked at head on) so with the hall, tower, and that building already done in Lego. The 4th large hogwarts set could be based on the 2010 set by including the only new building - the astronomy tower!
-
The one on the right I hope is next years big set. It will be similar in style to the 2007 hogwarts castle they did for Order of the Phoenix. So would fit with this trend of kinda remaking the flagship sets of the past (the great hall set seems based around the original hogwarts set, and this years seems to be a remake of the year 3 set). Would be awesome because last year covers the left side, this year the back, and next year maybe the right side. i hope we get an owlery tower in some form. It played a role in Goblet if fire, so I hoped to see it in the clock tower set. But it would work as a small set or side build

Leakers have been saying Ron. We got Dubledore from that scene in the CMF. And otherwise we wouldn’t get a POA Ron (from what we know about the rest of the wave.)
-
I really don’t get why they put him in the movie. They should make the movie with the standard of the products. He’s not even specific to a role.
-
I don’t want to start an argument, but a few things that have been confirmed were already rumoured before he came forward with info. But either way we’ll see when more leaks/official pics are out. For now let’s discuss it all anyway!
-
That looks like a sketch of the original 2004 set tbh. However, I had that set and have a huge feeling of nostalgia for it, so I’m fine if it’s literary an update. The great hall set was kinda an update of the 2001. Would be cool if next years is an update of the Order of the Phoenix castle Not exactly. He described it, and then confirmed it looks how it describes. I’m not saying I doubt it, I’m leaning towards the believing side. But just saying don’t get your hopes too high just incase However, treating what TRB has said as true, kinda sucks Hagrid’s Hut isn’t fully enclosed, limits things for a large display, especially if you’re putting it in front of the castle. Oh well, a back side would be simple to moc I imagine! And it will still look quite nice with the Whomping willow nearby EDIT: Sorry I know we’re not supposed to quote pics, but I can’t seem to remove the Instagram link

I think when they say it was in a few movies, they’re referring to Winter Soldier, Age Of Ultron, Doctor Strange. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Infinity War -
Maybe there’s a splitting pumpkin feature lol
-
I reckon it’s not why they reused Ron and Harry in the Hogwarts Express, it’s more why they gave Hermione a variant. Ron and Harry both have 3 variants in that wave, Hermione had 1, Might as well give the the PoA outfit in that set. also means we can get her pink hoodie costume in the hagrid’s Hut Set. if Ron has his jumper in the Hut Set, they could reuse it in the clocktower, if it has a medical wing, I know that’s not rumoured atm, but y’know, I live in hope
-
The lake scene is quite different. He’s wearing his grey/blue t-shirt with blue hoodie. A varient we got a lot in the 2004 and 2010 sets. He also wears the same outfit in the knightbus and Hogwarts Express scenes and on the posters for the movie. I hope they do that print rather than reusing the Aragog scene one, it can be reused in the hagrids Hut set

To be fair this page right now is less argument, more discussion of reasons. Was just a couple people arguing earlier

Oo I dunno. I much prefer the half and half look for two face. I hope they give him his white and black suit from 2006/animated series. Or maybe go half burned style like Arkham/Dark Knight -
I did post evidence a few pages back that it is the actual task version, but I’ll reiterate, sans picture. there is some red lining visable on either side of the red v shape on the Minifigure, this is to represent the lining of the coat, it’s the same as on the Cedric Minifigure so it’s the task version, not tent, atleast in my opinion it looks like it EDIT: they could have tried to get the print to match with Harry’s mid-leg print in the CMF series. Like how cedrics lines up with the General Hux print. Would have worked well Second EDIT: what if it’s a mix of both? Because the lining of the cloak is definitely there, but also the red on the shoulders also is, maybe they’ve combined both looks somehow?

Yes, two others already corrected me on this right after I posted that.

I do like these larger GWP they’re doing, like this and diagonal alley -
Or look at what I just posted and see otherwise

Okay then. Just had another look at the Minifigure. If you look there there is just the red v neck with the black string pattern right? Well on the Minifigure, there is also red lines either side of this V shape, which is the red lining of the overcoat from the task itself. The same can be seen on Cedric’s Minifigure. This lining isn’t present when he’s in the tent https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/273030796139319290/ In the pic there you can just about make out the lining in the coat. I couldn’t get a good screenshot of the scene, but if you watch it, there are times when it is very visible, for example when he immediately enters the arena and is missed by the tail

That costume there doesn’t have the hood or Potter on the back, which the minifig does.

I really like the build. Sadly a bit too big to fit into the New York architecture skyline, but it’s really nice nonetheless. The SHIELD style Quinjet doesn’t make sense though, needs to be the avengers one -
No we do get the outside version, the hood and ‘potter’ are Printed on the back.
