Sorry for the late answer. @Bregir was right, it was supposed to be the captain cabin skylights in the 18 th century. But on the new Hermione version ( rebuild in 1997 ) they had to add to the ship many modern devices the actual ships have. Navigation Computer, (backup) engines controls, radar, sonar, etc and to be enough close to the boat helm, they were set up here, replacing the skylights. And that's how the "modern monitoring" looks like now. No doubt the pics is from a modern model. Am I enough clear, or my explanation is too blurry ? If too blurry I will try a better explanation tomorrow.

Probably a small educational build for the RSNP, to the good care of @Bregir or @Ayrlego It will count for the EB flower contest.

A nice longboat and a the story is just exactly what we expect from SR... Just a flat : the SR captain and some crew looks very clean for scurvy scoundrels Correction : they are dressed in blue to cover it up... the history will remember that Oleon finished off shipwrecked lotii near El Oleonda... very piratey indeed SR will deny any knowledge...

Errr... What can I say... A nice shore, well rendered, nice posing for the fig. and this story is That's a "lol" for me.

That was exactly what this MOC was supposed to be, my first idea was to add the doctor's fig with a hockey stick (if only I could add this fig in LDD) shooting balls to the green areas while Callaghan and his men were working on the trunks, forcing them to dodge the balls (even if it means falling from the trees).

To strengthen ship sails and ropes, nothing is better than a good tanning. And the most useful raw material for tanning sails and ropes are the Areca nuts, from the beetle palm tree. Stroke of luck, there are many beetle palm trees on Tortuga... ...now the nuts are ripe... Time for Callaghan and his men to start the harvest. Another large plantation for Tortuga. Nice one, the base and the "road" are well designed. I would tend to "dig" the road throught the tan base, but the approach of having it in relief, works very well ! I will borrow, for sure ! Your palm trees are so simple, but so effective ! Overall well done.
