    Impressive as usual WhiteFang! Thanks for making these reviews a fun tradition every time a new series is released. I am happy at least one minifigure head is double sided. It's always nice to get those.

    Me too. I can't wait for an in-depth review of these guys. I'm also curious if any of the heads are double sided, too.

    I believe he's referring to using a white card to block the animator from reflecting off the set. Sometimes the light can reflect onto yourself, and bounce back into the set, causing flicker. As for FPS, I'd highly recommend 15 FPS. It's what I and most other animators use. 24 is also used by one or two animators, but it is very hard to pull off well.

    Personally I'm hoping for dark brown, but I'll still be sure to get one in normal brown because it's a new color for that hat either way.

    I get the impression that the swashbuckler's hat is in dark brown, but after closer inspection I wonder if it will be normal brown. What do you guys think?

    Hopefully that jester comes with at least some new accessory or something. I'd hate to spend money just for the figure and it's headpiece.

    I'm liking what we can see of the series 12 figures so far (I've avoided the list of what they are - but when I heard there were some pictures of them I gave in to at least see the photo!) The wizard's hat does look a little odd though. I don't mind it being brimless like that, it's just that something feels off about it.

    Awesome! I didn't think you could get their shapes that accurate on a smaller scale like that. I'm impressed.

    This reminds me of the lightsaber piece. I knew people who would attach it to the blade on either side. I never did remember which way was right. As for the flowers though, I would always do them studs facing up. It just seems more LEGO-y that way.

    Seems like some people aren't thrilled with the name. I don't mind it, although I'm sure there are some better names that could be picked. Honestly though, I'm just happy Pirates are coming back!
