  1. @Saberwing40k I also don't get many replies in my topics (although I've only posted 2 MOCs). But I get it. I visit EB everyday and I see great models being posted here every time I come but I don't comment on them that often simply because I'm lazy When I post my MOCs I LOVE when people reply but when they don't do so it doesn't bother my because I'm sure most of them are just like me: they read the topic, they watch the videos/photos and think "That's a nice creation" and then just move on to the next one. We are just to lazy to reply to every single topic. Also, if what you are building excites you and you are happy with it, then don't pay attention to what people say about it, whether they reply or not. Remember, you like LEGO because it's fun and makes you happy. Personally, I haven't had much time to build let alone to visit EB, just 5-10 minutes every day. I doesn't mean I dislike your Kenworth, I just haven't had the time to read it yet. So don't give up, if you like it keep on building and improving it! I hope I've helped
  2. This is looking really great! I hope you don't mind but I'll possibly rob some of the ideas you implemented and use them in my demolition excavator, if I ever get to finish it
  3. Very cool, very simple, very creative, very... genius!
  4. This is coming along really nice Doug! It's always pleasing to read and learn about your unusual MOCs. Plus it has given me some ideias to use on my demolition excavator. I'm looking forward to see the finished model!
  5. Hi Clive! Great to see you are back in the business! Too bad you can only build a little at the time, but, like you've said, it's better than nothing! I genuinely hope you get back to your best soon so that we can enjoy your wonderful reviews again.Take your time but remember: have fun!
  6. Thank you so much, this truly is a great MOC! I hope I'll have the time to build it some day
  7. I'm enjoying this build quite a lot. I drive through a few of these cranes everyday and I've wanted to build one for a long time. I'm glad to see such a skilled and creative builder as yourself building one. Looking forward to the final result
  8. I couldn't disagree more I too find it quite relaxing. And most of the time I find that I have more of the rare parts than I thought
  9. Hi Jurss Great work so far! The only thing I'm not 100% sure on is the front end, which I imagine wasn't easy to build I'll be following to see how the modifications turned out. Also, happy new year!
  10. Being a huge pneumatics fan, I can only say I love it so far! Can't wait to see the final product (and hoping for instructions, or LDD at least ) Keep it up!
  11. Stupid me for not thinking of this! Thank you very much!
  12. Hi everybody. I'm currently working on a trailer able to carry my asphalt paver and I'm using 2 mini LAs for the loading ramps, one on each side. However, I've found that one of them extends/retracts faster than the other (about one full rotation) but they are both geared exactly the same way. Which is weird since it's exactly the same part. Maybe there are 2 different versions of it as with the big LA and I'm unaware of it. I'm just wondering: has anyone had this problem before and if so can someone give me the reason why? I can post a video tomorrow if needed. Thanks for the help!
  13. Yes, the front is really good as well but I just love the rear view. But with such major renovations, let's wait and see what Jurss has done
  14. I agree with Igor, it looks a bit too tall. But if you say it looks good sideways, then it must be a perspective problem. And I love the rear, instantly recognisable!
  15. Looks very promising, I can definitely see a Renault 5 in there
  16. Simply amazing Michael, incredibly detailed! Could you please share the LDD file with us mortals?
  17. This is really massive and beautiful done! Are you planning on making a video? I would love to see it in action
  18. I really like this Doug But I have a doubt: a single XL motor drives all wheels right? How did you do that? I assume that when turning the caster units on each side have different radius and thus different turning speeds Maybe you have explained this before and I missed it. If so I apologise
  19. As far as I'm aware, you don't need a SIM card. If your phone has a camera, I'm pretty sure there must be a way to connect it to a computer (USB cable, Bluetooth, etc.) Just transfer the pictures, create a Bricksafe account as mentioned, as post the link. You can even e-mail them to yourself and access them from a computer. Anyway, welcome to eurobricks, I'm looking forward to seeing said pictures
  20. I agree with Ivan_M, we had two "unconventional" contest, so why not building something real that is not a vehicle? Plenty of things have intricate technical mechanisms and functions.
  21. Looks promising! Building the BCE before must have been helpful, some of its features should be usable here. Keep up the good work
  22. Maybe this is the reason, I certainly don't have this kind of care. But perhaps I should start doing it
  23. I have a couple of ones that have cracked, same with bushes and half bushes, but none of them has snapped like Mechbuilds. They are still usable in some builds
  24. Please don't take my comments in the wrong way. I like this MOD/MOC very much, I was merely giving some advice. In the end this is your set and if you like it this way, you should leave it as it is, no matter what others say
