Pelly's Paradise Day Two: Two Wild and Crazy Guys

Didst Bloodbrick 2 have a bus driver and a redirector? Wouldst it not seem a bit much to have both? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Two: Two Wild and Crazy Guys
fhomess replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thou doth misunderstand. Mine intent is to provide another chance where in we might select a trustable cosplayer with whom I can coordinate. Yea, an opportunity to essentially reselect who should have had the chance to use the vig hat in light of the fact that selection was not made early in the day. All may take their part in the nomination of this player. I wish not to choose them myself. Howe'er, I believe tis better to keep the final target private until the morn. Woulds't thou rather have scum know exactly whether or not they are in danger? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Two: Two Wild and Crazy Guys

Verily I say that I shall coordinate mine action of death with an agreed upon cosplayer. I wouldst prefer to keep the knowledge of mine target hidden, where the prying eyes of the evil ones mayn't be forewarned. Both Brickelodeon and Tammo hath ignored events to suit their narratives. I conceive of no deceit in Shadows claim of cop from the dearly departed Dragonator, however I believe not said claim to mark him as friendly. Shadows, didst thou reveal the inner workings of Egon's proton pack to any soul ere the first night commenced? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Two: Two Wild and Crazy Guys

I wouldst point out to Dave that he hath called me scummy for the very self same claim as he hath done himself in taking Blackbeard's Shag. Shouldst I have left the vig, of which I shall confirm that Tammo didst say unto us verily, to Dark Dragon or Dragonfire? There be no reason under which I find myself in trust of them at such early time as now. Be they from the depths of hell or the gates of heaven, I know not. As for the most recent nocturnal period that hath befallen us, I find no reason to separate Tammo and Shadows. That Shadows didst know of Dragonator's role and he didst find himself among the saints does give me pause. That Tammo didst happen to select the redirection pack upon the morn doth place him in a poor light as well. Shadows didst say that he found Tammo's reveal to be of virtue, yet chose to redirect his action anyway. Verily I say that mine mind doth think that two cops is possible, but that doth not necessitate that Brickelodeon's was false. By the time I didst claim it, there were but three remaining. The point of discussion had passed. -

I will likely not be back before the end of the day, so I will vote now. I feel like Indy has been trying to contribute by focusing a lot on mechanics and looking helpful in that way, but he really hasn't added anything positive to the discussion. Vote: Indy Jones (jluck)

This is not playing their cards right no matter what team he's on. He had all of 2 votes on him at the time. There was no need to rush in and reveal what the cowl does at that point. The cowl is an extremely useful item in that it is investigative and restrictive. It learns the function of another player's item and prevents them from using it. I think we need to be a little more careful about revealing what these things do. There are 20 items. Assuming 4 or 5 scum and the two revealers are not among them, then they already know what about 1/3 of the items do. We likely can't protect all of the useful items if they get revealed at this rate. They'll get revealed faster than we can confirm people.

The scum can move the kill ability around, so they get something extra to balance out their own ability? Or are you saying they get something extra because Pelly told us that they can move the kill around? In that case, couldn't moving the kill around be the extra thing they get? Maybe one of them will be so kind as to tell us what it is... please? I don't disagree, but it'll take 3-4 days to figure out any sort of pattern in that regard.

I don't want to play. I don't have time. Please sign me up. -
I think lynching one of us and NK'ing the other would've been the logical way to win solo, and it clearly didn't matter who you lynched in that case. I don't think there was any argument that either Foog or I could've made to logically get you lynched. I will probably think of this as a solo SK win, even though we technically are now winners, too. I think we'll be talking about this game for some time. Scuba... how did you enjoy being a stump?
-
Thanks, Walter! As for fun quotes, I told Hinck in private that I was no good at finding SK's. While I started to suspect he might be it when Scuba was killed at night, I wasn't convinced until Day 8. I liked this quote as well from Day 7. Bob had denied the 2:2:1 possibility despite knowing it was true. That triple lynch was a thing of beauty, and the end of this game felt very much like the end of that one.
-
I did target Hinck on the last night. There were 6 dead but one of them was Brickelodeon. Dragonfire had claimed Miller publicly. It basically told us Foog, TPRU, and LazyChicken were all vanilla. It narrowed down the potential other players, which helped us get lucky with the investigators. Walter told me we had to survive until the next morning with the advantage, and since Bob was killed that night, it didn't happen. If only Bob had been scummier, Hinck wouldn't have targetted him!
-
But I reach my win condition at the START of day 9. Scum boards are always fun! I'd love to see the cheat sheet and decipher what people said. I thought it was fun. Good thinking! I was so done with this game by Day 8. It's tiring trying to constantly find townie reasons for things that you know are wrong!

Unrest in the Forest - Day 8: Moving Pictures
fhomess replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No. You're the SK. Because if we lynch the remaining scum, the SK isn't obliged to kill anymore. It opens up the possibility of an additional win condition, with both parties winning. Yes, that condition is dependent on a sympathetic SK, but I would rather leave that option open to him than allow for the alternative. -
Unrest in the Forest - Day 8: Moving Pictures
fhomess replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry, non-town specific. I can't read that. There is one of each affiliation right? The vig is dead so the SK can't be and the scum must be here, too. The scum will definitely kill, so one of the SK or town will die. The SK will also kill, because that's the only way to take out the scum killer in a no lynch situation. Either the scum or town will die. Scum kills SK, SK kills Scum, town wins Scum kills Town, SK kills Scum, SK wins Scum kills Town, SK kills Town, no one wins Scum kills SK, SK kills Town, Scum wins There is only a 1 in 4 chance of the town winning if we go to night actions. No, that was never a possibility. The oaks win when the maples are gone. Here's the thing, Sammy needed to find the SK in order to win. With a living killer, he would have to take out the killer to make sure the killer could not take him out. Sammy wasn't fishing for a scum killer, he was fishing for whether or not there was an SK or a Vig left. -

You're mistaken. Sammy is scum. Since the vig is dead, no lynch places the game into the hands of the scum killer. -
Unrest in the Forest - Day 8: Moving Pictures
fhomess replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ok, I went back and checked. I was told that Sue was dead. I apparently added the maple bit in my head because I had already read the opening of the day. I thought that you had said you weren't told who had died at all and that's what got me off on the line of thinking that you were being treated differently. I was told nothing about Adelaide's affiliation, either. You were the first person who had sent me any codes that were non-specific. It struck me as odd at the time. First off, I have poked on everyone at various times. Secondly, I wouldn't poke about Chester if I was part of a group that killed him that same night. Please give me some credit here. Most of what I do in these adventures is try to account for as many possibilities until the most logical one comes out. You're jumping on me because I happen to be the one who has spoken most recently. My vote on Jack came early in the day and I got a lot of heat for it at the time. You led that and then later voted with me. It was not the type of vote to hide behind. Sammy voted after you and Bruce did. With 3 votes on Jack, and 3 on Adelaide, they needed 2 votes to ensure a lynch and one of those had to be Adelaide's or a switch off of Jack since Sue was one of the 3 on Adelaide. They bussed him when it was clear getting a different lynch was too hard and then pushed for Adelaide the next day. At least one of the remaining killers must be scum or we'd have won by now. Ergo, there are at least two killers remaining since whoever killed Sue is not dead. I'm ready to commit to this now: Vote: Sammy Sycamore (Fugazi)
