  1. Amazing. Light blue and medium stone grey go together so well. Really like the plates approach and detail at the top.
  2. The house is very cool. Particularly like the attention to details in the landscaping. It looks like a very tranquil place to live!
  3. Thank you for the feedback! Black pointed roof has a back. It's two pieces that fit together, possibly from the Vampyre Castle (set 9468). I bought a bin of Legos that contained it and immediately thought that I needed to build a corner building in order to place it on. I agree on the Chinese theatre and plan to correct it on mine with additional flat pieces.
  4. As I admitted in my "5 Modular Building MOCs" post, I am not very good at original ideas. For this MOC, I was influenced by cimddwc's awesome Emerald House. Typically, my designs are based on convenience. In other words, what can I build without having to Bricklink. I started by trying to replicate the Emerald House, but didn't have enough dark green. Also, I didn't have enough of either white or tan windows so I made the second and third floors different colors. From there, I took some other liberties. Floors are removable but no interiors......possibly I will get to it someday. As always, I welcome positive feedback as well as constructive criticism. aDSC01130 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr aDSC01113 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr bDSC01126 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr aDSC01125 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr
  5. Great job on replicating a very challenging architectural structure!
  6. What a great job you have! I followed your link to check out your other work...which is very nice as well
  7. Great use of colors and design! Green windows are so hard to come by these days.
  8. Awesome work. The blue theme really pulls it all together. Artistic. One nit is that I feel the house is out of place with a downtown like setting. Just my personal preferences though.
  9. Well done. The tires for sale in the window is a nice touch
  10. Awesome! Really like the blend of grey, sand green, and dark flesh on the corner building. Added it to my fave on Flickr.
  11. Umm....that is very demented. I love it!
  12. I'm a huge Mad Max fan. Nicely done!
  13. Ezaida - Good question. Not sure that I have really thought it all the way through. The bank is the obvious one. Originally built this over a year ago before Brick Bank was announced and then subsequently built right across the street. Recently modified again but expect they are still losing business to the more prestigious Brick Bank. Black/gold building is Chinese restaurant on first two floors (including balcony). Possibly illegal gambling on the 3rd floor? Other than that, I am open to suggestions. Peedeejay - I can see your point on the black and sand green. I have modified that building a couple times and still not enamored with it. Back to the drawing board!
  14. Long time Eurobricks follower. Finally got around to registering. Posting some photos of five modular buildings that me and my three young kids recently completed and added to our town. As my best ideas are usually originally somebody elses ideas, I want to call out: Light blue / Dark Orange building - consolidation of the work of Kristel (copy of 1st floor of her Beloved Belle), Tobysan (windows from recently posted Victorian House Modular), and Brian Lyles (copied roof of his Amsterdam hotel with some mod to window framing). Red/Brown/Tan building was influenced heavily from Snailad's (aka Andrew) Rua Amarelo The other three buildings are more original in design although I have been indirectly influenced by much of the lego works of art on these pages! Sorry, no interiors. Open to any and all positive comments and constructive criticism. xDSC01095 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr xDSC01080 by Brick Extreme, on Flickr xDSC01071 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr xDSC01108 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr
  15. You have inspired me so much that I have modded the two camaros and the mustang. Will post once I have a chance to take pictures.
  16. Very nice. I liked your window framing design so much that I "borrowed" it for a MOC that I am completing. I will post pictures once I figure out how to link.
  17. Boats to frame the Windows. Amazing. It shows how the possibilities of new ideas are endless. Also like the cheese slices as a moon shape for the out house.
  18. Amazing! I'm speechless. I particularly like the color that you brought in with the tree in front.
  19. You have managed to create a perfect blend of detail, subtleness, and classic elegance. It makes me want to create something similar.
