  1. Thanks en_zoo and I forgot to say welcome to avalonia! Thanks for the advice and what do you mean shouldn't be giving advice? I need all the advice I can get.
  2. HELP! I am need with some last minute advice on an entry to a competition. I really want it to be the best it can be so if you guys could give me as much advice and creative/criticism as possible. Once again I was trying that style of old stone work but I also tried some snot/snac rock work for the first time. I will be Interested on how you thought they turned out. This will not be the finale model (hopefully) and I will retake the photos. Hope you enjoy and let the cc flow in! Fallen ruins by Jed cameron, on Flickr Oh, and hopefully a new "the retaking of Eolas" chapter will be out soon
  3. Great build Sk, though im jealous of your amount of clear bricks. The snow and ice works really well but my favourite part is the water.
  4. As Sk said it looks great from both sides :D I think I have the perfect upcoming moc to use it in...
  5. Welcome Conrad the sly to the greatest guild in all of historica. Great sig fig build, can't wait for your builds!
  6. I don't think you have to use both colours as I have absoulutly no sand green so I either avoid having to use it alot or just not using it at all. I know alot of people don't have all the colours so don't sweat it.
  7. @Brandon Eolas is ever in new need for allies. @Masseditor Thanks for the comment, I try to take a pic like that in every build for the saga, and I have an even better tree comming soon ;p
  8. I feel like Henjin has summed it up pretty well, That tan and gray colour scheme is defiently one of my favourites :)
  9. The collapsing wall is defiently my favourite part, closely followed by everything else. The base looks really really good and the contrast between the smooth lava and rugged walls works perfectly.
  10. Well then, sounds like fun and hope we get one soon :D
  11. Looks like I have some tough compition. My build will be up soon enough. I feel your pain with not many blue tiles, you'll find in my build I have a little river but since I have no water tiles I have to use blue plates Xp
  12. What happensin a challenge? I've never seen one in action and want to prepare myself if a challenge is coming to the guilds.
  13. For someone who is newish to the guild and has never seen your work befor it is an amazing sight. Your architecture is suberb.
  14. Amazing story Brandon, "a tale worthy of the gods" ;p can't give you a good answer about your island but it's pretty small so it should be fine.
  15. Thanks for all the advice, I really enjoy reading your comments :) @Henjin Thanks, I will remeber next time I do a moc. @Isundir That would look much better I unfortuantly lack the peices :(
  16. Great Interveiw, I always enjoy hearing what others have to say about the guild. Great questions titus :)
  17. Well quality not quantity I always say, glad to here your getting more bricks. Im still procastinating from getting my first bl order :p
  18. Welcome to Goh, look foward to those builds :) @BrickCurve I thought we went over this, the lush forest of Avalonia easily bypass the miles of boring sand that you call your home :P
  19. This is just... (speechless) As titus said this style is defiently yours and I dont think anyone else could master it so well. Congrats in the great build :D
  20. Cant wait titus, hope its gonna be good.
  21. The next installment to 'The retaking of Eolas' is here. The last straw- http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=138484#entry2628612
  22. The dew glistened from the nights down pour of rain. It was early morning as the Maestro and his companions traveled to another port to discuss the increase in drow raids. He was half way through his journey when he spotted smoke rising into the clouds, intrigued he lead his men closer. What stood before him struck his heart like an arrow. The house had been ransack and its inhabitants slain. The walls were charred and burnt but the heavy rain of the night had stopped the flames from spreading. The head on the pole stared at him in horror, a trademark symbol of the drows presence. This was the final straw for the Maestro, he would make the drow pay for all the havoc they had brought upon Eolas. He had already made up his mind without counsel. This meant war. The retaking of Eolas: The last straw by Jed cameron, on Flickr The retaking of Eolas: The last straw by Jed cameron, on Flickr My second Addition to my saga 'The retaking of Eolas' I decided against using only one page for all the builds as I thought it would be just more difficult. I could have done better on the house but I wanted to start on a cbc entry. I enjoyed using some snot/snac on the house and thought it worked well. I think the transition from forest/undergrowth to farmland looks good but could be improved. I probably won't have another build for this saga up so soon as I want to focus on my cbc build. as always hope you enjoy and cc needed . link to the first build of the saga: Preparations Link to next build in the saga: Construction of an army
  23. Those guys are amazing :D wish i had an army like that. Such cool armour!
  24. Great sigfig - can't wait for the next Hesperia chronicle :)
  25. Thanks Sorrelon :) Ill need all the help I can get. Can't wait for your formal introduction :D
