    It looks like a tabard to me. Bit on the narrow side, but according to Wikipedia those were common wear in the late Medieval, early Modern ages.

    Yeah, nice to see another color there. If my eyes don't deceive me, two of the shortest length on the tail end, and one long one over the front and underneath the 'fuselage' of the craft? It looks like at least the textile wings and perhaps the tail textile are useful for a historic/East-Asian setting too (dragon wings and junk sails). Do you know if Da Vinci's torso-and-legs are unique for this set, or come from one of the Harry Potter sets?

    Here we are, discussing a D2C version of a hobbit dwelling, most likely based on the LOTR movie, and dwarves are the main topic.

    They did include a hint of conflict: the Eye of Sauron underneath the gathering location.

    I'm curious if it will be a new version of "an unexpected gathering" (The Hobbit), or from "The Fellowship of the Ring" (Lord of the Rings)? Very important for the kind of minifigs that will be included.

    Well, there's the goat reference on the plaque. And the name "Guarded Inn" itself might be a reference to the inn in the MTS.

    I see it as a catch-up with the predominance of male characters in earlier releases or sets. It gives us more variety in this era for non-pirate roles if necessary. For instance even a crew of pirates had to seek out a port from time to time to unwind, and let the inhabitants welcome them with much-needed relief.

    Last journey? Poor guy. At least he goes in style, in magnificent surroundings. I really like the stark setting, with hints of life here and there. The rockscape may be may favorite here.

    Now, for me, its going to be a wait for the 'normal' motor helmet (which can handle visors just fine). I like to have both options available if there's a need for it.

    Yeah, I saw. The question now is if those woolen beanies were coloured back in the 17-18hundreds.

    As I understand it, replacement parts come from Billund, not from the PAB warehouse in Poland. While there appearantly is every intention to manage PAB orders from Poland, I reckon the warehouse in Denmark won't shut down (or not completely).

    I'd have to look it up, but I can imagine you're right. After all, most if not all of the pirate sets were in a Caribean setting, and the typical European 17th century sailor had gear for colder weather.

    You're right, of course. But what I meant was using this type of torso's for alien crew only, and I doubt I'll find enough of the BAM alien heads-and-antenna skull caps plus the upper armor piece in my nearby LEGO store to cover another three aliens. But as you said, I can always redefine who wears what. 🙂

    I hauled up a few of those BAM jumpsuits for alien members of the crew. That plan just got down the drain.

    Not what I expected, but it has its own style. The torso of the crew in front are appearantly based on last season's BAM alien minifig.

    The Falcons are definitely in a merrier mood. I like the lettering for the teams.
