  1. You have two -no three- good choices: either in the Fleet, at the Scorpian Shipyards, or (a far stretch, I know) next to Ragnar Station.😛
  2. Looks like I have to check the Renegade's instructions, I don't remember a Futuron reference. Would be splendid if that came true though. I wonder if LEGO would re-use the Space City Modular spaceship torso prints again then, or surprise with a whole new outfit.
  3. Could as well be there's simply still some stock left, and will be until the last is sold.
  4. These days, "a few knights" is 10-15 bucks...
  5. I doubt BDP sets could be purchased from (most of) those 35 countries prior to Bricklink closing operations. Pre-ordering a set went through the LEGO site anyway, so...
  6. And automatic salary adjustion a way of keeping the managers grumpy.
  7. Depends how much of the city's backdrop mountain the developers put in the design. It is a mountain range after all, with alot of depth if you want.
  8. Unfortunately, in BDP one can only order 2 sets max. of any given design.
  9. This picture reminds me of a James Bond movie's closing scene.
  10. That was a picture of the Fountain Garden box transposed with the info of the upcoming gardens.
  11. I'd say the designer. To me it looks like its more of an agreement between the designer and the LEGO group that the latter act as an intermediary for producing a limited amount of the design. Of course, the Löwenstein Castle was designed in another initeration of the BDP program, so the small print was likely quite different regarding ownership.
  12. I think its more to do with how outer space was perceived in the late seventies and eighties (when those sets were designed) then with an attempt to create coherent lore. Besides, any scene set on a habitable exoplanet would look merely futuristic, not space. If LEGO would've released this kind of sets it probably would've been under the Town banner.
  13. I feel we can't really complain about a lack of medieval/castle set opportunities in the last 5 years. Since the Medieval Blacksmith was released there's always been something out the for castle fans, and a reasonable variation in the heraldry and fief represenration. We started with a resurgence of the Black Falcons, followed by a return of the Lion Knights and Forestmen. Then came for the afficiado's a variation with the Silver Falcons and a Dragon Knight torso, not to mention several medieval CMF's. For those favouring medieval civilian life came a Medieval Town available, followed by no less then 4 (four!) brand new fiefs with unique heraldry which will potentially.keep us occupied for the next couple years collecting.
  14. Well, all the other dwarf galaxies are smaller then 10,000 lightyear in diameter, and half of them are simply core remnants of larger galaxies who were already incorporated in the bigger galaxies that caught them.
  15. I was just about to say. It does indeed looks like the Classic Themes related sets have been relegated to fan-based designs.
  16. Incredible use and combination of elements here. And the Wanderers' pose is out of this world ().
  17. I expect the Griffion knight torso's and legs to be not too expensive. They're the generic one of the bunch of new Castle torso's, so will probably be used more in other sets. The shields are the elements I fear the price will be high of.
  18. More likely brickbuild.
  19. I hate to disagree with you, Kalais, but the first couple Castle set had brickbuild horses (yellow castle and tournament sets). Nevertheless, a nice effort to change the brick horses in this set in something worthwhile.
  20. I've found eight. The hare, 2 fishes, the dog, a mouse, the crane, the pig and a snake. If there's a frog somewhere, I missed it.
  21. You don't need to go as far out to M81 or Sculptor to get seven sizable galaxies. For the last two, NGC 3109 and Wolf-Lundmark-Melotte Galaxy are possible replacements, with sizes similar to the Magellanic Clouds.
  22. That nautical star shape must've been hell to accomplish. It looks perfect. The color scheme is perfect, and the subtle greebling between the sides finishes the ship nicely.
  23. I don't know if creators receive feedback from the BDP team regarding popularity of their proposals, so this is just my 2 cents for what its worth. I wouldn't try to compete in the 4000 bricks category with a singular building under construction. Usually, I'm inclined to vote more favourably for something new or a complete overhaul of an earlier idea. This last round, I have the top vote to the reiteration of the Stonemasons Guild, and the honorary vote to the cathedral. In the case of the reiteration of the Stonemasons Guild, I was quite fond of the recolor and the new type of scaffolding on the construction site. And the oven should be a mainstay. Perhaps you could try with other important medieval city buildings under construction? A belfry tower, a Guild/Merchant hall, a gate house, an almshouse... ?
